Ren'Py - Completed - Apocalypse [v1.0] [EpicLust]

Over the top and exaggerated art is right up my alley. Busty, muscular babes and bulging MC seem to be dev's field of expertise and he/she excels here with their third game. Renders are enjoyable and story is the right mix of fun and seriousness that I look forward to every update.

Man I remember when I first saw this game I was SUPER put-off by the models. The muscles and veins were horrifying. I gave it a shot because of a review a read and I'm glad I did. The saving grace for this game is that it takes the piss out of itself. It knows the bodies are ridiculous, but it is tied into the plot as to why people are that way. I did laugh at this game a couple times. That said, I'm still not super fond of the models... but the game makes them tolerable.

The animations are good, lots of repayable content. This game won't ever get a 5-star from me due to the models but, with that said, I hope me giving it a 4-star shows how strong other parts of the game are.

I love this game. The humor, the sex scenes... It doesn't take itself too seriously and that's how it should be. Plus, it's not the usual story about fucking your aunt, mother and sister. Recommended.

v0.6.1 Review

Epic Lust makes parody games, games that aren't afraid to be silly and over the top and funny. There are just some people who are too dumb to understand this and take it seriously, I feel bad for them. Anyways, moving on to the review.

Renders: 4/5 These renders are meant to look cartoony and not realistic. Epic Lust is an acquired taste, so if you aren't into his kinks you might not like them. Expect muscles, bimbos and ridiculous proportions.

Characters: 4/5 There are lots of characters (too many), something for everyone, they are all different and funny in their own right. They are all different types of meat but smothered in the same kind of sauce (pun intended), if you get my meaning.

Gameplay: 4/5 I hate open world sandbox games, but mainly because they feel grindy and confusing and punishing if you don't follow the secret steps the dev wants you to follow. This switches the script on that, it lets you explore freely and do and go wherever you want and it rewards you for it. More devs should learn from this and take a page off Epic Lust's book.

Sex Scenes: 4/5 Very plentiful and varied, I just wish they felt more fluid and had more text it them, instead of having to push next when I want to skip to the next animation. But overall a great improvement from the last game.

Writing: 3/5 The writing is not great, but the story and the dialogues are funny and witty. The plot is very cool and the setting allows for ANYTHING to happen in this cartoony parody apocalyptic world.

Sounds: 3/5 It has sound, some custom sex noises and some music even. Way too many games deprive themselves of sound and its a mistake.

Animations: 3/5 It has TONs of animations, some are better than others. The sex animations need more fluidity in order not to feel like a GIF that is stuck in a loop.

Overall: 4/5 This is a very FUNNY and FUN game to play and it has TONS of content and does sandbox RIGHT. Looking forward to test the final version.

Hosts underage content, MC is a Mary Sue and looks like a fucking blowup doll. the jokes are already all outdated (Trump references every two minutes), the gameplay is quite annoying, the entire world ends if you don't have sex once a week, lots of spelling/grammar mistakes, all of the female characters behave like dumb whores, MC's dick is the size of his body and looks hilarious, the MC is rewarded for saying the most douche-bag of responses, and the dialogue is like a teen wrote their first sex novel.

Female character models are nice is about the only positive in this game, but I'm not (and neither should you be) into disgusting pedo shit, even virtual. How this has so many views and good reviews sickens me, honestly. Seriously, go to the Gallery, and look at the characters, most of them are in their early teens and have full sex scenes. How is this even allowed on this site?

If you're into extremely busty women, very well hung yourself, or just wish you were, this is a sweet gaming experience. The concept is fun and the reactions to your huge size never get old (true to life). Hot, smooth animations for the sex scenes. The game is a little challenging if you just want to get your rocks off, but the hint guide, walkthroughs, and cheats make it as easy as you'd like. Well done dev!

Loved the game, the gameplay is simple and effective, which I like, but the girls are what sell it for me. The girls are likeable and their modelling is top notch, the excessively curvy design is done much better than most games I've seen. The post apocolyptic setting is always good to see, and the humor is surprisingly good given it's about politicians lol.

Don't know how the plot is gonna turn out with Sleepy Joe replacing Trump. I imagine the goal will feel fairly dated within the next year or so, so the game should probably wrap up by then, or have some twist or something where Joe takes over as villain, but whatever, I come here for the tits anyway so 5 stars, great game.

Doesnt take itself seriously, does a good job scratching a kink itch. You'd have ridiculously pathetic to be offended by the cheesy over the top political satire in this game, in a porn game.

Only real issue is can't get enough content and not bug-free, which I'm not faulting an unfinished game for.

Just want to mention that all related to the character desing is simply awesome, including the animations are just great, apart from that, just wanna make a suggestion for a future version, about the Cindy and Tyalor route, since we have to marry Taylor, insted of that, we could marry Cindy, and after that we could take Taylor in a stepdad-stepdaugther relationship, so we could have both of them in the harem not just Taylor, I just came up with that idea hope you have it in consideration, apart of that you've done an excellent job with the game, wish you a happy new year

I'll keep this review short and sweet. This game earns a rare 5 despite being incomplete due to this creators history of success with battle of the bulges. I have complete faith Apocalypse will be fleshed out eventually.

That being said.If this game were to stop development right now, it is already good enough to warrant at least a 4 star, only due to lack of completed sex scenes with every character. But as far as volume and quantity of content, it has more than I can ask for from a game. I can calmly play it with dick in pants and just enjoy the quests and stories. I can confidently play it with dick in hand on a mission for a sex scene and find one quickly enough if I focus on it.

The characters are varied in appearance and all incredibly well done. Epic lust has something a bit different in their style than every other 3d artist and I really like it. The game plays fluidly with missions being easy enough to figure out without a guide (but challenging enough to warrant one) and fun enough to distract you from the fact you aren't beating off yet.

Give it a play for more than ten minutes and you'll find a character you can not only find attractive, but perhaps even connect with as an exaggerated caricature of your personal beliefs. Nothing but good things to say about this game, can't wait to see it's completion.

One of the Best games in the site, the premise is interesting and funny, the gameplay and story progression are steady and rewarding, with very little grinding compared to most smut games. The artstyle is unique and a clear improvement when compared to the dev's previous games. If this dev keeps steady development he may come to be one of the best.

Love it so far, having a lot of fun with it. Already a lot of content for a game in development.
Been following his work for years now (first the stories, comics and the other game) Keeps improving, so can't wait to see whats next.

I can say I loved that game so much damn cuties in their with all so beautiful faces, thats definite from all explore and roaming in the house/ base one of my favorite.

{I must confess the first two other games from him was not so my thing, only because that raping my poor mouse and nearly gets a cramp in my fingers and arm for that killing my mouse button.}

But this one is so great I have so much fun to play it and the first time I see or read when the content are missing right now, that the chars make jokes about its not implement so far and we can maybe think without the grafic at would happend ! I love it that you can pump your massive jizz so much in her belly´s, but I hope that you can pump more in her, that the belly gets bigger in that scene then that temporary.
And the stuff with the q that you can get and must further explore the ground to find stuff is one good aspect, like with that awsome genie to find stones.

This is in many ways the perfect porn game. A Rabelaisian whirlpool of ridiculously voluptuous women, anti-heroes, pulp scifi villains, a Fallout-like post-apocalyptic universe, political satire that actually manages to hit the mark... But most importantly, a plot that knows it's in a porn game and doesn't try to become it's own thing, instead being just another component of the setting where the excellently rendered & animated sex happens, which is happily abundant.

It is sandbox which is overwhelmingly Bad for porn games, but in this case the story, encounters, harem girl acquisition etc justify it and even make it occasionally enjoyable. So considering that, I won't criticise this aspect even though I def would for virtually every other sandbox game on this site that I've played.

I give it a 4.5/5 which I'll round up to prevent nuclear holocaust. The -0.5 is for 2 things >>a malfunctioning stat bar that can't be viewed in every situation >>a non-existent quest and events bar which can lead to missing out on content if you forget to do things or don't do them in time.

Can not get past the over the top models. I guess immersion is important to me, while this game is just the other way so take it as an opinion. Other then that they do look great as far as quality.

Characters are kinda interesting. The humor is not bad.

I don't know what to say about the story line though. I feel its a huge mistake to take something thats very personal to a lot of people and put it on display in a game like this. It also feels a little personal from the dev point of views too. If some one really wanted a game to be shared and enjoyed, its common sense to keep a topic like this out of a game so I kind a question the motives behind it.

-Political (Trump Bad, destroyed the usa, resistance good, the eco faction good and so on)
-Most of the character models are not great, except melania trump. They are full of muscles and unrealistic body proportions. Just ehhh ew
-Grindy. I do appreciate a bit of sandbox but when the sandbox scenes repeats for over like 5 times, it gets annoying and you just click + ctrl to skip that crap
-No gallery as far as I remember
-Weird plot with u having a big dick because u survived some apocalypse bomb, which again trump dropped cuz trump bad
-You get lost in the plot and it becomes a pointless get a sex scene sandbox experience

I can see how the dev could be putting a lot of effort into that but I believe he is putting all of it in the wrong place and in wrong ways.
