RPGM - Completed - Arche and The Demonic Sword's Shrine [v1.01] [hanamigasaku]

The porn is okay and it's animated, I'll give them that. Also, the game environments are gorgeous, especially considering it's all made with standard RPG Maker assets. If you don't care about gameplay, ignore everything I'm about to say here, you might like this game.

So, as for that gameplay, it's genuinely torturous. The game somewhat encourages you to do a no-sex run first to get a bonus and unlock the gallery, but this is far harder than it seems. The combat is truly atrocious. You can't 'die' per se, since running out of health just goes into a sex scene, but like I said, the no-sex run thing makes this way, way harder. You end up having to grind out levels for attack damage, which involves more repetitive, godawful combat.

it's early Zelda-style combat on a grid, but it's an RPG Maker game so it's not really designed for this; hell, you can attack during some cutscenes, and the effect still shows up. Your attack damage is based on levels, so instead of being based on kiting your foes or even skill (yes, I know it's silly to apply a skill standard to eroge, but bear with me), it's more based on how much time you spend grinding. In a porn game. Where there's only porn if you lose. And also you have to not lose EVER if you want to unlock the gallery.

There's also a story, for what it's worth: it's pretty barebones and it's not really the focus, which is a shame because it's probably the only thing that could save the game as a whole since the gameplay is so awful.

So yeah, it's not an awful game, but it's just not a good one either. There's like 5 sex scenes and none of them are that good, they're just boring. There's variants of them if you die a billion times and get your 'sluttiness' meter high, though it's just a facial expression difference. Though they are animated, so kudos to the devs for that.

Very short and quite philosophical beat' em up game, about how determined you can be to do what is needed to be done.
Plot is simple, but at some parts can be interesting.
Gameplay is very simple but fine and won't frustrate you.
Content is also simple, there is almost nothing interesting there, also feeling, that adult content was added just to be attractive to perverts.
VERDICT: that was very short, an hour like experience, but that was worth it. Can recommend it

GAME CONTENT: Decent
The core mechanics are perfectly simple, although unfortunately there's no easy way to play one-handed. There isn't any significant player choice or challenge until the final act where getting caught actually gets you a Game Over, and even then the only difference is whether or not you got fucked enough before then to max out the lust meter so the girl enjoys getting raped.

PORN CONTENT: Decent
The art is basic, but nothing blatantly incompetent. It's refreshing to see a hentai girl with an average body, medium breasts and slightly plump waist, as opposed to the overload of lolis, megabody women and perfect hourglass babes. I like those but it's nice to see the everyday girl get fucked too. All sex scenes are animated, and the animation is as basic as the still image art, but at least it is animated. That's sadly not common enough for H-games, especially RPGM.

OTHER NOTES:
Well, I never expected to see a rape porn game with feminist overtones. Don't worry, it's nothing stupid or extreme. The subplot is that the girl wants to do something important with her life and be a hero, but her mom wants her to stay home and get married early, and enemies in later stages taunt her for being physically weak and want to make her into a "proper woman". Arche learns to accept her limitations as a woman but still endeavors to be an adventurer, and her mom finally supports her after she succeeds in her first big quest. It's a really nice and optimistic ending and I just thought it was worth pointing out... although it does distract a bit from the porn aspect. Nice and optimistic isn't generally sexy.

The only major problem with this game is that there's just not a lot of it, but what's there is nice.

I don't get the point of this game really. IS it just bout easily getting to see some hentai scenes ? Why a game just for that. There is video or manga.

A hentai game played by famous actors like, tentacle-san (not me) and slime-kun, along with well known stuntmen like goblins and ugly bastards.

Tentacle content: It's there.

Amount of pokemon (scenes): not many

Animated? Yes

Art: Looks nice, Rob Boss would be proud.

Gameplay: walk and slap enemies harder than Davie504. No grind required.

Verdict: A tidy little game hindered only by it's lack of h-content. Story fits well, mechanics are simple and not too repetitive. The only really deep part of this game is wondering how the previous hero charged the sword...
