Unity - Archipelagates [v0.11] [RalivDev]

Very good little (Or, rather medium sized) rouge-like thingy.
No bullshit, no extra story elements, you get in, you play.

Character creator in this game is simple, but that doesn't mean you can't create, let's say, your personal character, plenty of patterns, colors, sliders without it being overwhelming.

Main gameplay consists of running around a randomly generated levels, fighting skeletons, looting, selling, dressing up (for style, or efficency, either way, the game itself is not too hard)

The spicy moments are very interesting,all of the animations from I can tell are procedurally generated, and there are plenty of them too, a little bit of precedural junk is what I personally am Into. Only con - No sounds.
And said moments are plentiful, there can be as many as you want as a matter of fact. Play a little mini game of charm, and there you have it.

Only little annoying gripe, the NPCs' attention span can be weird, one moment they will be checking you out - and then look over to another NPC and kinda forget about you for a moment, lol.

Would love to see this project grow, with more species, poses, toys, perhaps? , ': ^ )

I'm waiting for updates like it's my birthday. I really like the game — it has incredible potential. I'd also like to see more races and monsters to interact with. I hope it won't be abandoned. I'd love to buy it on Steam.

Version 0.10 Review
Great game so far, I like the playstyle feels rogue-like. I especially like the clothing function in the game, and how the equipment you wear changes how your character looks. The animations are solid, the only thing I don't like is the movement feels slippery, and the lack of counters to the ranged enemies, especially the fire-throwing enemy.

It has good bones, but it needs a LOT more meat. It's just bones right now, bare bones at that. More animations, more content. Right now all that you can do is go into dungeons and have sex with NPCs, not a lot of options really.

Extremely fun with fluid animations that are too well done, although with some slight inconsistencies, but it doesn't kill the "magic" and the characters' expressions are fantastic. The gameplay is very simple but fun at the same time. And best of all, the character creation, very complete despite having only 3 species, since these can vary greatly.

this is perfect game concept but still lacking many more feature

1. Crafting system, game need more about value resources to sell on shop for high prince and balanced
2. Custom Character system lacking edit mode example face, arm, body, and legs need more feature to crate you own character
3. no objected, no story, no quest, still confused where you get direction go.
4. add map generated, this one for find more hide item or find spot you miss
5. they no rape system after attack neutral npc they will be lose to player for fetish themself
6. after load money you need to spend more to make something you completed example build house, upgrade to high, or brothel
7. 8. they boss fight?

Perfect!

Rare furry game with good editor that does not make characters look like stupid dolls. Personally created a femboy lizard, turned out super hot!

Graphics are great, goes witout crashes and freezes. Though there is not much to see right now - 1 type of island and the hub with empty houses.

Scenes are good, poses are unlockable and look pretty natural. Models are clipping and grabbing air in current game version, maybe will be fixed in future.

No sounds yet, no use for ragdoll function and inadequate grind (you can buy clothes, weapons and dies with money).

Clothes look good, but there is little variety in them currently, especially hard to find sexy clothes.

Giving a 5 for potential which game has and current several playhours it offered. Will wait for content - game needs a lot more.

For me this is a 4 star game

Personally i put animation quality above all else, would love to see more deformation, right now the sex animations are a bit stiff and its just clipping

As for the gameplay and world, thats all great, along with a sweet character creator.

Tons of potential, gonna keep my eye on it.

God, what a gold nugget! I've spent probably 12+ hours playing this before burning out (without a single crash too). It runs great, but has a ways to go in term of content. This has great potential!

THE BIG SEX
Sexual fluids are currently missing, but animations and facial expressions during sex are really good! Fun (and usually quick) to allure NPCs into the good stuff. Earning EXP from sexing is always a good decision for H-games. Finding new positions to use from altars/obelisks(?) around the wild islands you visit is cool and makes you wanna explore more and find them all. There aren't too many as of writing this, but they're all good! Would love to see a lot more in future builds to make sexing the NPCs less repetitive in the future.

GAMEPLAY IS FUN
The foundation is there, it's works well and it's already looking to become a great 3D platformer H-game RPG! I love that you can find merchant huts(?) selling equipment matching the level of the island you find them on.
Also love the enchantments for equipment! Really fun to able to destroy equipment to harvest their enchantments in enchantment tables(?) found randomly around wild islands in order to put them on any stronger items you have found or (usually) bought, though there's not really any point to this as of writing this. So I'd love to see these systems expanded, and for random boss fights on some higher level islands to be implemented in the future to justify all of this.
Gameplay is fun already! Especially when you get a sense for movement tech (which can be a tiny bit slippery, but very good) and how to fight effectively without taking hits. Though the ranged enemies are fucking Spec Ops advanced snipers and leading their shots perfectly sometimes, it honestly adds to the humor and goofiness of the game as it just makes you ragdoll (unless you're low-health or close to the edge of the island, but you don't lose any progress or items from dying or falling off islands so it's all good).

There's lots of fun to be had already, and I can't wait for future updates.

Got ate out by a lizard man, propositioned an elf woman to do the same, knocked an elf out for rejecting me, then killed her with her own sword and threw ass over her corpse in celebration. Best game of the century.

Great furry content. The game handles pretty well and if you dash>jump>dash you can move around pretty quickly. Platforming is a little slippery but not frustrating.

Love the character customization. Cant wait for more content here.

For an alpha, the models and animations are very nice, especially small details like the ears and facial animations. The rougelike gameplay is fun for a time.
The developer seems competent. I didn't encounter a single bug while playing for a couple of hours.

The framework for a good game is there, it just needs some more time in the oven, and more content. It would be killer if mod support is ever added. For now though, I can't say that it's worth $15 , but I can see it one day worth that price if it gets completed.

I want to rate it higher, but I just can't.

As it is currently in v0.5, it feels like a project that someone made while messing around in Unity. There is very little guidance on what to do except for a purple beam guiding you to the portal area and dialogue in the town, which the dialogue serves no purpose except for a sex scene and some worldbuilding that goes nowhere. The combat exists but feels like a strange hybrid of action and turn-based with how every hit causes ragdolling. And the controls feel weird and unfinished.
Not to mention, the sex just seems like it's tact on with the way it's currently implemented. Aside from scripted scenes, like the one in town, starting a sex scene requires figuring out what your partner likes and then offering/requesting sex. This isn't a bad idea but the way it's implemented just feels like it's pulling you out of the gameplay loop (what little there is of one). It gets even tougher when there's another NPC there doing the same thing, as it can take even longer.

I will give the game one good thing though: the animations. Most of them at least, some such as Willow's shocked animation causes the model to bend weird. They feel bouncy and unique, with the sex animations being pretty good.


I sadly don't see this going very far. Either that, or it ending up like TiTS and milking money for years. The game already costs $15 bucks for what feels like an internal early build with an overly fancy coat of paint on it. Potential does not mean anything if the developer can't fulfill said potential or doesn't want to.

From the perspective of a vertical slice, Archipelagates appears to have a promising start. The animations, albeit goofy, are full of life, and what h-content is currently available is done well enough. Everything else about the project is extremely barebones. Graphical options are slim, and the controls cannot be changed at all. There is combat, simple as it may be, and the foundation of the main gameplay loop is solid enough. Only time will tell if these aspects ever get fully fleshed out.

I can’t recommend it at the current price tag of $15, but if you can get your hands on a copy by other, dubiously legal means, then it’s worth a decent wank or two. Otherwise, it definitely needs another year or two to bake.

Cant wait to see more from this game. It's really great considering the early state that it's in.
Combat is decent, platforming is pretty fun and incentivized by the progression orbs, and the NPC interactions are fantastic. I love the 'allure' and 'offer' options and the fact that NPCs can do it back to you and other npcs.

I can absolutely appreciate a game that's just starting out, but I try not to rate based on "potential" (which this game has a ton of, admittedly.) Based solely on the reviews, you might even download this game with some expectations like I did, "Wow, almost full 5-star reviews? This game must be worth putting some time into."

...Unfortunately, the game is very much a skeleton at the moment. The customization is decent, but lacks much detail outside of fur/skin patterns and colorization.

In fact, making too many body adjustments can result in some animations playing incorrectly. Main example of this is the "Receiving Blowjob" animation expecting your character to be packin some pretty major heat, so if you aren't, they'll just be suckin on the air in front of your dick.

Exploration isn't all that rewarding, as the amount of clothing types are minimal. Combat is pretty one-note, with you just spamming attacks to stun-lock enemies before they can hit you. There's no H-related to the combat, so there's no incentive to kill them, nor to be killed. In fact, you'll quickly find yourself running past things and skipping to other worlds after you kill enough enemies to move on.

At the moment, the core gameplay loop just became cycling through the worlds to find an NPC I found mildly attractive, interacting with them, and then playing through one of the few animations available.

Other than that? There just isn't anything worth doing.

animations and visuals are great, the artstyle is soft and charming i like how there are randomized islands it reminds me a bit of Muck. the character creator is fun to use with many possibilities. i will definitely buy this game at one point

It's a humble beginning to a great game, The Models are simple yet very expressive, the Animations are on point, Spent 16 hours playing it in a trance trying to get the gate level to max (on 15 atm). The gameplay is smooth, character creation is nice and interesting... I am looking forward to more content, biomes, enemies, and species of NPCs. I love it! Dev Keep up the good work!

Honestly a gem of a unity game. Works well with random generation and weapons. Makes playing this game over and over and over again really fun. needs either a random generation for NPCs or an NPC pool for the player to add to. also I wish the shops were more common
