it would be cool to have a public collection of custom NPCs. btw im following your idea of adding as many as possible. i couldnt find the folder where to add them so i made an NPC myself to see if a new folder appeared. here it is, its a female version of my cheetah looking character

I went and looked, but there aren't any good anonymous file sharing services that allow this sort of collaborative thing, not any that I could find for free anyway. I'd host something myself, but its a lot of work for something that has like 2GB of storage max. Best bet is to use the forum here and just tag your post with something like "#customNPC" so people can use the search function and find them all in this thread. And maybe add a picture or two so people know what they're downloading.
The closest thing is making a Google Doc, then allowing people to edit said document and place their download links (with moderation of course). Sounds risky, but that's the closest (free) alternative I can think of. Otherwise, someone can make a MEGA link with all the links so far for people to download while only one person maintains it with said links provided.
I've seen other games on this site with linked forum pages for stuff like mods and fan art stuff. maybe it could be something like that, a dedicated page for NPC sharing, not sure if that makes sense.
also it would be cool if the game had a menu to see all the saved NPCs (to remove the ones you dont like for example). some people would also like to edit NPCs (rn you can edit presets but not NPCs). i can totally imagine someone liking an NPC but wanting to modify the sex or other details.
lastly, i'll reupload my (updated) cheetah characters, both male and female version, both presets and NPCs

I was working on a character sharing site for this game. Maybe I should finish it

Kobold care is painful to me everytime I go back to it and like the movement but the gameplay loop is just... annoying. so much back and forth, its so slow. might be more tolerable with friends but uh, no. I masturbate alone.
I do miss the simpler times when you were just on a stylized farm with a straightforward path to grabbing resources and mixing things.
Someone really needs to make a workshop item also for quick spawning all those custom character additions.
I only see good things happening with this game if he makes use of more quirks in this game. Hopefully they add more biomes for island types down the line.

the animations are really nice and they would be way way better with sfx, sound makes a huge difference
