One simple question: Can we somehow open the game directly without opening the console too?

I'm gonna be honest I never had the console open on me while playing this?
There might be some issue with your PC or something.

Well, I just realized that the console was from BepInEx

But the question stands, can i smh remove it?

If you remove the BepInEx folder, doesn't that remove the console? If you're wanting to keep the cheats, but remove the console... no. You won't be able to do that.

Humorous thing happened. My island spawnpoint generated underneath the entire island. Thankfully I've got the cheatmenu to at least teleport to a gate.

Archipelagates wasn't meant to be big in scope, but even as it is it's a fun little game. Maybe this next project will be more like what Archipelagates could be, or takes aspects and implements them.

Probably not? But I wouldn't worry too much about it, I think the window actually has to stay open for the game to continue to run with the cheats.

Personally, I feel like multiplayer in this 'genre' is very niche... and difficult to implement correctly.

I've found VERY few multiplayer PRON games that have seen success, and that success is usually... very short lived.

Its just too ambitious imho. Single player often, is the very idea for these games.

But hey, everyone is wrong once... or twice; A multiplayer version of this would basically be a better KoboldKare... or whatever that game is called. (Sorry to the dev of that game... its just very unpolished... and unfinished).

Butt seriously, I think if they do continue with this, and they don't get all PATREONIC and die a horrible online death, like... *shudder* Vanimate... then yea!

As promised, I'll explain how I did this.


1- Download this file: https://f95zone.to/threads/archipelagates-v0-8-ralivdev.202797/post-13397108

- How to install:

2- Download this file:

You must be registered to see the links

3- Install the Cinematic Unity Explorer.

- Here is how to install it, Go to the folder that says BepInEx, then plugins and here leave the CinematicUnityExplorer file

4- If you did well you will get this when you enter the game

5- When you enter, activate where it says freecam and this will appear (on this occasion this game sends you somewhere else as shown in the image but I will leave a location so that it is close to the character or close to the map)

- Here I leave the location of the story mode, just copy it 70.9516 22.0741 7.5975 (ctrl+c) paste it where it says Freecam Pos (ctrl+v then enter to activate the location)

- If you did it right, this location looks like this (you can now move the camera anywhere)

- How to increase or decrease the field of view, click here

I must be dumb because after installing the mod, none of the buttons in the menu of the CUE worked. I could hide and unhide it with F7, but yeah.... not workin' for me. Maybe cause I have the cheatmod as well? Not sure.

Wasn't the primary reason Steam said no because the character sliders for randomized NPCs could create... less than adult-looking characters?

That could be a reason Steam didn't allow it, but without being told the reason we can only guess. But that's why I said what I said about it possibly just being the same game but with adjustments so Steam allows it.

Yeah, dev said that the reason of no steam release was young looking characters in the game.
Also, i don't know if the dev is going to continue with this idea, but i remember him saying that his next game would be multiplayer, dev also said that he would continue to update archipelagates while making this new game, so i don't think is going to be the same game.
