I follow some games on this site, and I am a friend of a developer whose game is on here but some one uploaded it without his knowledge and manages the thread. Can the develop take over the thread if he wants?

..yes he can open a ticket.....and ask for the dev badge....and thread ownership...
...no clue why he would tho.......shits annoying......and if he messes smth....we just take the ownership from him again.....

Imagine if devs who own threads could delete any bad reviews or bad comments :KEK:. That would be such an abuse of power, so you're going to have to take all the criticism (fair ones).

Lerd0 already taco bout it already so.... :Kappa:

The main point to remember is that one can only "take over" a thread ownership. The whole management part is only possible for moderators.

changing the links on the thread....without reporting it......
Or removing them because he don't want "that version" to be leaked.

Staff members (and perhaps moderators) have access to the historic of the post, know what was present before the edition, and who made the said edition. So messing with the thread opening will only have one consequence: 7767 gain a new thread ownership.

What can a dev do if they don't want their game's thread to turn into a circus with all the usual NTR/Harem bickering?
Devs often explicitly indicate the presence of one of these tags in the topic header, but this does not prevent the circus of mutual insults from continuing.

Use the report function. It is unfortunate that some members can't stay on topic but the mods are very good at dealing with the issue.
