Are Porn Games "Erotic" to you?

I always consider "Real Porn" inferior to Hentai Manga and was never into things like PornHub and the like. And from what I see regular people get bored and get into more extreme stuff anyway.
But I could not put my finger as to why that is so, maybe the expressions? Maybe i just like the anime character designs? Maybe the fantasy scenarios?

The thing is with the trend of 3D Porn Games I find it similar issue to Real Porn.
Now they have Plot but I am not still not feeling it.

So I have a question, What do you consider Erotic? What do you think is that thing that is missing to make it Erotic?

The more porn you watch, the more you are driven to extremes to find a greater kink and thus greater pleasure. 2D and 3D art beats Real Porn because you can do things with it that you can't in real life, thematically and stylistically. The eroticism of a given work depends on your fetishes, but I would say that a lack of writing or plot as a whole hurts more than it helps (unless the art is excellent). I think for the most part, whatever your story is, there needs to be an emotional connection between the reader and characters involved in sexual scenes. That makes it more erotic because you feel involved.

I quit watching Real Porn several years ago. Hentai I never liked for two simple reasons, the scenes are too short and the camera angles are constantly being switched. Porn Games vary for me. There are plenty of games here, but only a handful that I actually like, follow, and that click with what i'm looking for.

What I feel is erotic coincides with how much I, as the player, can immerse myself into the game. Not just H-scenes, but the little things like showering, having a drink, relaxing in a hot tub or bath, a monetary system, buying things, working at a job or in a company, going to the gym, buying a house, using the bathroom, the dialog, and establishing a relationship with love interest or interests play a crucial role in increasing the erotic feeling that I get from a game. It also has to do with the H-scenes themselves. Do they have kinks that I'm into? Do they have ass angles? Ass job to ejaculation? Are they animated?

So yes, porn games are erotic to me, but it depends on the game.

This is like asking if something qualifies as "art". "Is it fappable?" is a somewhat different question from "Is it erotic". A letter to Penthouse Forum might be fappable. A passage from DH Lawrence or Anais Nin might be erotic. It's the little touches that distinguish one from the other, methinks.

I was actually referring to works depicting stuff like monsters and extreme futa or other unrealistic forms people are into. I'm not sure why you jumped all the way from that to illegal depictions. Maybe you should more closely examine your own thoughts.

Seen from this point of view, the answer is : No, porn games aren't erotic for me.

But then come another question, what you call "porn games" ?
Is Depraved Awakening (to take a finished game as example) a porn game ? For me, the answer is no, because porn focus on the action and possibly offer us a plot behind it. It's an adult game, a game that offer us a plot, with some sex behind it. This by opposition to games like Plump City, that, like porn, is just sex with an attempt of minimal story behind it.
You don't play those two games for the same reason, and don't play them in the same way. You play depraved Awakening for its story, and are pleased by the included sex that put the game on another level. You'll wait for the next update and play it until the end. This while you play Plump City for the fap, and therefore can miss an update without problem, use anyone save to fill the gap, and generally close the game not when the update end, but when you released.
