Hello, Everybody!
(Hi, Dr. Nick!)

Can somebody recommend me the game similar to the Subverse (by The Studio FOW) gameplay wise? I'm not sure I'm allowed to post links here (so I won't), but the page of this vaporware can be easily located on the kickstarter.
I'm not interested in H-scenes, I just need a game that combines space exploration (with possible SHMUP action) and tactical point'n'click turn-based ground action.

I've already played XCOM series (for tactical action) and Mass Effect series (for space exploration). Any ideas?

And I'm sorry if this question is not for the pornsite, but since the Subverse is pretty much an H-game I thought it would be proper to post the question here.

As far as i can remember, there are not many space exploration + tactical point'n'click turn-based ground action games.

Give Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space a try. I think you will like it. :)

A list of good space exploration (kind of) games:

Evochron Legacy

Empyrion - Galactic Survival

EVE Online

No Man's Sky

FTL: Faster Than Light

Starbound

Space Pirates and Zombies

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to check them out.
I'm playing Othercide now. It's enough to sate my hunger for tactical turn-based games. If you are into XCOM-like action, I'd recommend you to try it too.

Space Rangers and Star Control and Stellar Tactics. Stellar Tactics sounds most like the game type you are looking for

"Starsector" is a must-play (unless you utterly hate the graphics) for anyone who likes space sandboxy exploration and growth of power from a single ship to a massive fleet (plus a production planet if you want to). Tons of mods, hundreds of hours of gameplay. Not on steam (dev is shy or smth.), but constantly updated for like 8 years.

"Space Rangers" (an older Russian classic updated a few years ago) is also top-notch but can be pretty childish in design and jokes. Still very deep and broad in mechanics and ways to play.

Quick edit (because I'm an XCOM junkie). Try modding. I've sunk 500 hours into the "Long War" mod for XCOM (2012). Much deeper and harder than the base game.
