The game disappointed me because the endings aren't well thought out, and the game is very short.

There's almost no interaction with other natives, the map is limited, and I think the story could be better.

Good ending:

It's only achieved if we don't mess with the women of the tribe. According to tribal laws, the winner sleeps with the loser's wife. But for some reason, that doesn't apply to the protagonist. If the protagonist doesn't respect the tribal laws, the bad ending occurs, which can't be avoided in any way.

Worst ending:

Then there's the other ending where if all the challengers lose, the protagonist's wife becomes a whore for the entire village.

That is, the protagonist's wife can sleep with other men without any consequences. But if the protagonist touches another woman, there's a bad ending where, for some reason, the island goddess possesses the woman and buries the protagonist alive. A bit strange for a porn game. In my opinion, a DLC is needed that adds other endings because the three endings leave a strange taste in my mouth. Also, to make the challenge bet more fair, a woman who has some relationship with the dwarf from the raft races should be added.

After the great experience with "Tenants of the Dead", this new game has been a let down for me. The technical performance is still good, but the gameplay and story are much weaker.

The main problem is the mechanics of free movement around the island. It boils down to endless transitions from one plot point to another without any semantic content. The only thing you can do in the locations is to collect scattered items of clothing for the heroines and play through the plot mini-games. However, the clothing collection content is disposable and ends quickly after the first visit to the location.

It seems that the developer added an open world for the sake of the fact, but did not think through the mechanics of the research. Unlike "Tenants of the Dead", where even without visual movement there was a real excitement of exploration (trips to different days and places brought new resources, locations or plot twists), here the gameplay is artificially stretched due to tedious walks. Interaction with the world is minimal: apart from the key characters, the rest of the island's inhabitants play no role. For example, the character of a Meme seems absolutely superfluous, since its removal would have no effect on either the story or the content.

The plot component was also disappointing. In "Tenants of the Dead," each character had a sketchy but recognizable character. In Arrival of the Goddess, all the girls, and especially the main character Claire, are presented as extremely simplistic types of whores who are ready for sex at the first opportunity.
Claire's story is devoid of self-reflection and development. We don't see a gradual transformation of her feelings or struggle with what is happening — she is initially shown as a whore (although literally in the very first scene with each of the representatives of the village shy), which makes the narrative flat and uninteresting. The plot itself seems like an outline for a short comic book, rather than a full-fledged story.

The elaborateness of the endings is especially striking:

• The "good" ending and the ending with staying on the island look clipped and illogical. Receiving a flower after the ceremony is too easy and sugary, without any resistance from the leader. There is a missing climactic conflict, where decisions made on the island when interacting with other island residents could affect the outcome (for example, whether Claire will participate in the gangbang ceremony or the main character will be able to get her out of this mess.
• The ending with the island disappearing is the only one that looks complete. There is drama here, an explanation of the motives of the goddess and Claire's revenge, as well as a sense of hopelessness of the protagonist. However, one strong final scene doesn't make up for the mediocre development of events throughout the game.

Conclusion
It seems that the game was released as an unfinished beta version. The potential is obvious, which lacked content and depth. Perhaps the developer was in a hurry with the release or lost interest in the project.
In the end, the game turned out to be average. I give a 4-star rating instead of 3 only because of the pleasant feature of all NTRMAN games — their common interconnected universe. This is a rare and valuable quality for adult game developers. Apart from this detail, Arrival of the Goddess loses to its predecessor in all key respects and is a fairly mediocre game with good sex content.

If you are thinking of trying the game and are reading the reviews I don't doubt a good 80% of people who come across this game would enjoy it as much as I have. The only reason its not a 5 star for me is the fact that I'm not into cuck or NTR as its called, but this game is great. The whole time I was having fun and enjoying the scene's as well as the game. The music for background and mini games, the ambience and eerie situations, the entire time this game had multiple areas to suck you in the story and hook you. When I went into the game to play it I thought it was going to be a normal game to try out and if I'm being honest I didn't think I was going to like it because of the cuck kink, but even when replaying for the 3 time trying to figure out what ever I could miss, this game was nothing but great and I enjoyed every bit work that was put into it. This was also my first time playing a game with voiced characters and it was a BIG factor in making the game stick with me as Im looking for others.

the best NTR game? lol. It's garbage. From start to finish. The games feels really cheap. Story - almost non-existent. Animations - poorly done. NTR - there's none, the guy doesn't care about his wife getting fucked at all. The wife's corruption is completely broken due to the game mechanics. Gameplay - garbage. The game is bad as even a walking simulator, because the walking itself is very slow and bugged. This is prolly one of the most overrated games down here.

Chaotic at launch, a bit rushed with corruption and dialogues, too many scenes without Claire and Vanilla route with her, but one amazing NTR with characteristic bulls and some hot NPCs. The game has nice scenery and scenes, good corruption of the FMC; she gets embarrassed doing nasty things for the tribe and gets really horny. The scenes are triggered only when you lose minigames and have no other erotic or sensual moments to build besides losing minigames. Each bull has 3 scenes; just straight lose the minigames and that’s it. Feels really unpolished and rushed with a lack of more erotic event dialogues (no sex) just to harm and enrich the process, the atmosphere until sex scenes.

Unbelievably good. The free-roam, choices the player is given, and the genuinely challenging "ritual" mini-games really make you feel responsible for each outcome in the story, as well as the ending. Unfortunately by the end, there is a point where things feel out of the player's control and not in a good or thrilling way, more of a non-engaging way that makes one want to check out.

It's very questionable why this game has such a high rating. I'm going to assume it has to do with the creator being popular and having other games causing people to support his game without actually caring about the quality.

Gameplay
If I'm going to play a porn game I don't want the gameplay to be complete garbage or non existence. The gameplay in this game requires you to lose in order to progress the NTR. Personally I think this is one of the worse gameplay loops you can do. Why am I going to want to play a game where I just lose. Makes the progress of the game feel unnatural.

Art
The art is probably the only redeeming feature about this game and even at that its not enough to make me want to play through the gameplay loop.

This is an excellently made game that absolutely SUCKS.
The story is basically: you have to win some trials in order to get what you came for, if you lose then your wife has to have sex with the man you lost to (the tribesleader basically tells you this from the getgo and you just accept it), so there is no slow corrupion or buildup at all.

The gameplay is then you basically deciding whether you want to lose each trial or not, which is entirely pointless because if you lose then you and your wife just lets the sex happen, and if you win then there is no NTR at all.
If you win every trial you just get what you came for and leave again (no behind the scene NTR or w/e).

If you're looking for an NTR experience you'll be gravely disappointed with this game. I gave it 2 whole stars because it has very high production value, otherwise it would be 1.

.. The irony though is that I found the NTR and corruption to be.. meh. When the game is made by a guy called NTRMAN.

The game if played from the female narrative would have been interesting. You would have agency to get corrupted or be good.

However the game is from the cucked guy's perspective, yet other than playing the 'minigames' to determine if she gets corrupted or not leading to 3 different outcomes, we have virtually no introspection on the MC's feelings. She would have sex right infront of him and yet hardly a reaction from him, and no change in the dynamic between them.

So the awesome scenes and voice work and steps are there for a good NTR but just no writing to speak of.. It will be on you to fantasize about the lewdness

Also the game is just literally slow.. I wish there was a way to fastforward more

At the end of the day it knows what it is and is paced very well and gets straight to the point. Voice acting is a massive bonus here and the art is also really well done. Really the only thing that would've made this better is if there was more of a real story or character development to give a little more oomph to the ntr stuff. Beyond that though its overall quite good.

Arrival of the Goddess is a very solid and complete game. This game for me checked every box. I liked the feature where if you were to lose their would be consequences. Having multiple ending also make you go back to play again to unlock every scene, which I liked. NOTE: The way to save in this game I was not a fan of.

I would punch random people in the streets for just 2 or 3 more scenes.
I'm storing it in a special place in my hard drive. just to watch this distinguished lady get ruthlessly banged again, when life loses it's meaning and I need some emotional support.

Never before have I felt so conflicted.

Coming off the high of Tenants of the Dead, which was one of NTRMANs better games, with the best being the remake of the Inn. But put those aside because not only was this to be NTRMANs latest entry, but also based on what is likely his magnum opus work "Awakening of a Goddess". Needless to say, I was pretty darn hyped.

And then it finally arrived!

I pushed aside the comments of disgruntled fans, ignored the suspiciously vanilla screen shots, and dug in. What I found, was exactly what many in my shoes did; disappointment.

Let's get the good out of the way, because we all know what to expect from NTRMAN. High quality artwork with some banging sex scenes, the wife in this is smoking hot, the tribal women are damn fine too, NTRMAN just knows how to cause a boner to rage. The setting is also nice, squarely centered around the same area that Awakening of a Goddess took place in. And heck, the mini-games, as frustrating and tough as they can be, are well put together.

The bad comes from the story, which takes a big departure from Awakening of a Goddess. In this you travel with your wife to the tribal village, partaking of the local booty and smashing your wife from time to time, all while awaiting some trial by a goddess to obtain a cure for the zombie plague that we encounter in Tenants of the Dead. Guess this confirms it, we have an NTRMAN Universe. The NTRverse.

The difference here is that Awakening of a Goddess has a heavy voyeur fetish, as you, the reader, see that, unlike the husband, the wife is being taken to pound town by the locals on camera. Her slow possession by the goddess influencing her decisions, eventually leading her to abandon her old life and become a breeding cow for the village. The husband has no recourse, the wife is gone, end of story. So you'd think in a version of that where the husband is on site and taking action, that he could change his fate. Nope.

There is one ending, which is very weird. To this point all the NTRMAN games have had multiple endings, even if some of them were nothingbugers. But here, you can only ever see the wife fully possessed, run a train on by the village in front of you, and then you end up locked in the goddess cave while she evily walks off. It matters not how you approach the trails, if you win or lose them, if you bang the village girls or not, if you do the silly riddles, none of it matters because you get one ending.

Even still, because of the hot artwork, the sexy sex scenes, the plump girls, the hidden items around the map that unlock outfits for the gals, I still can't go any lower than a 'good' rating. Plus, the hint at the end, that we'll be dealing with aliens next is hilarious.

If you're into NTR, this is likely one of the best games you will find. The devs art style is unmatched and while I normally mute voice acting in games, Claire's VA was so good I had to leave it on. There's quite a few scenes and you can unlock everything in about 2~ hours give or take.

Oy vey! There are nearly 80 reviews on this state-sponsored interracial NTR game, so lets keep this brief with some simple pros and cons:

Pros:
- Fantastic English voice acting
- Gameplay actually matters and feels rewarding
- Simple, short plot for a simple, short game
- The interracial NTR trope is, by far, one of the most overused tropes in hentai. However, for this game it actually makes sense for the plot.
- The white guy actually gets to fuck the black chicks, its not just the typical case of "light person gets cucked by dark person."
- Good character design. This is how you should draw fat girls in hentai. Not grotesque lumps of flesh but realistic heavy women.
- Girls are all attractive and scenes are hot
- Animated well enough
- No censorship

Cons:
- This game is an adaptation of the comic "Awakening of the Goddess." That said, it's not a good adaptation. The comic is a well-paced horror story with actual tension and nuance. The game is a fast-paced story with no tension or nuance in the slightest, while trying to add too much of his personal flair and storytelling to it. I bring this up because I want to highlight how this game had a perfect blueprint for the story and manage to mangle it up.
- You can see the animation and art lines on the models
- Janky mini-games and movement (games are still fun though)
- Long load times and screen transitions
- One dedicated save spot that is far from decision points, making vanilla and one of the NTR runs a pain in the ass.
- You need two hands at some points, a cardinal sin of hentai games
- There is genuinely no reason to have to walk around town. The overworld exploration is annoying padding.
- This is a visual novel masquerading as a RPG game
- Changing cosmetics is only for the standing CGs, must be collected on an obnoxiously large overworld map, and can only be changed on the main menu.
- The endings makes me feel like this was just a buffer game and advertisement for NTRMan's next game
- No harem ending. The "win the challenges and fuck the girls" NTR path should've been a harem ending in which you got your cake and ate it too. The way it is written makes no sense in the slightest.
- There is a clear order of events for the NTR path, but you find this out too late (as you see the h-scene) and for each stage of the game this order is changed.
- The NTR is not built up well (it's blunt as shit) and the character actions and responses do not flow together as you should expect them to.

I feel this game is really coasting on the NTRMan name. If you're attracted to the visuals, then it's worth playing. It's kind of hard to find h-games that have realistically shaped fat girls and normal looking dark-skinned girls, so I think those factors override the NTR aspect if the NTR aspect is making you weary of playing. The story quality, character writing, and sex logic is quite absent; but the hentai quality and quantity makes up for those factors to a degree at which the game is still worth playing.

4 and 5 stars are too much for a game that:

1: Doesn't have many scenes.
2. Difficulty has no meaning at all. I played "FAP" (easiest difficulty) after Netorare (hardest difficulty) hoping that the mini-games (the ones that lead to NTR if you lose) would be easier but instead of that it just gives you the option to auto-win the mini game... I wanna play and win, not skip but you have to, even though it's the easiest difficulty, 'cause those NPCs are too fricking strong.
3. Corruption is really too fast. Even before the 3rd scene she's already f up.
4. Race play. Im no fan of that at all. For some reasons these tribe men all got a huge dick (and they got dark skin, how STRANGE), MC got a good dick and it's funny how the 2 girls with whom you can have sex tell him that it's big, that it's good ajd and that they never felt like that. Girl you tellin' me that only the 3 "villains" out of all the village got a huge dick and are capable for whatever reason at sex? This really makes no sense. Sometimes I believe that it would be better to leave the "big dick" part and to focus more on the corruption which 10 years ago was about oral skills of the villains to steal gfs, now it's just about who got the bigger dick. A shame.

I wanted to give it at least 3.5 but the endings are badly written and there should have been even more endings.

NTRMAN is the type of author that makes alwasy great H-scenes but that can fuck up a lot plot-wise, like here. He made GREAT games like "Camp with Mom" and it's a shame to see such a talented and hard working guy failing like this. I saw that he has many projects that he follows all together, just follow one, make 1 game that is really good, give it many endings, more scenes and whatsoever instead of making many that are weaker.

Game is good, best work this developer has made in my opinion. Appreciate the voice acting, smooth game, and inclusion of more dynamic game play than prior titles. A minor critique would be that traversing the environment was a bit of a lull in the excitement, the collectables helped a bit, but I was left getting bored of walking and dreading it. If the walking included either a sprint, or engagement like more people to talk to or more "comments" from passing villagers, it could have been more of a consistent positive experience for me if that part wasn't as much of a drag. I also appreciate the enhancements in audio and voice acting, these are huge improvements. Last mention would be that the minigames were great additions, but could use balancing to make the difficulty consistent (maybe that was intentional), but the raft minigame felt WAY too easy while the fight was nigh impossible for me.

Regardless, this game is great! I am impressed by the developer's growth from prior titles.

Can't believe I missed this game, the animation is well done, the gameplay is a little hard because the draft race is a bitch, story line is easy enough and well the developer really lives up to the name. Really enjoyed the NTR material and hopefully based on the ending there will be a new game coming soon.
