Art styles other than realism and moe anime.

Just wanted to start a thread about different art styles people would like to see more of other than the typical Hyper realistic and moe anime.

I would like to see more renaissance Disney era styles, there is something about those innocent eyes and big lips that seems so neat. I also would love to see a visual novel done in the style of the Maxx animated series, with biting colors, heavy inks and heavy stylization.

That's all I got for now, but I would like to hear about art styles you would like to see in Visual novels.

I like cartoonish. Personally, I'm a sucker for anything very cartoonish art style. If I had more money, I would hire Xierra099 or at least commission her for some art for my games if I had the money. I'll probably do a prototype of a game based on her Lovin' Sis' series to see if I can convince her to work with me in the future once I finish my game. Scott Pilgrim also fits the description:

If I had to describe it, it would be something anatomically correct but still exaggerated or uncommon like different proportions or extremely angular or drawings. Stylization is key, I guess.

Also, 80s style anime or even 90s style anime would be great if it made a comeback:

I love and miss the aesthetic of 80's/90's anime. There's an actual sweetness to them that is missing in MOE, animation might had improved (action wise) but I miss the designs of Tenchi Muyo or Aa! My Goddess.

Have you heard of

He's not a game creator but he's found a niche create "new" retro-style erotic artwork. All of his stuff looks like a still from an oldskool anime VHS.

3D renders have made it easier to go from idea to sex idol, so I speak from that.
Daz does sell stylized figures, but most people work in realistic ones. There's just a lot of very attractive figures that are realistic, and many artists don't try to modify the figures that they buy out of the store beyond ballooning up the tits or slapping on a fat pussy.

It takes more work, metal exercise to think in stylized scenes and figures? If it already looks like your ideal sex partner, then you're there.

When you create ideas on stylized figures, it's a little more indirect of a process. It's harder, mentally, to make that leap as a creator, I think. Abstraction might look simpler/simplistic, but when you already start from photoreal and human dimensions? It's the abstracted figure that is taxing on the brain. At least, that's how it is for me.

Anyway, you can do things in Daz. This is just a test image. I'm trying to work more in this mode, but it's actually harder for me.

I hate those big-eyed 70-80 anime style. Not a fan of huge eyes and triangle faces.
Some examples which I prefer more.

I'm not really a fan of the anime style with large eyes, small bodies, simple lines for noses and mouths. To me, normal anime also looks like it uses a very bland color palette. I can't really put a name to it, but there are some artists that still have an anime style, but draw faces a bit more intricately, use more vibrant colors and shade a little more realistically. They draw more mature body types but I wouldn't call it MILF. Artists like Reiq and Oda Non do this kind of thing:
