VN - Ren'Py - Artemis [v0.5.1] [digi.B]

My first ever rating on this site, but with 0.2.1, I feel it fully deserves it. Everything seems to be in order: the renders, the story, the personalities of the characters, the length of the chapters and the development. Very rare that a game has all these executed this well.

Actually i have played many games so fare even before joining F95Zone, and it's the first time i can say a story really touched me this much.

The story is totally far ahead of every other game, the last time a game touched me this much it was with Acting Lesson, but in this game unlike acting lesson the story rest even when i quit the game, and i hope only one thing, an update to continue the adventure.

The personnage all have a profond background and even the girl who is the bitch is well written to the point you want to murder her.

The design of the différents personnage is "perfect" in terme of reality, they all have their flaw, we can see some problem in their skin these error in these personnage add to the reality, because like many have said "Nobody's perfect".

Really hope to see more, and i really hope to see more game like this.

This is one of the few VN's that I actually enjoyed both the visuals and the writing. To the script writer, you sir or ma'am have a direct line to my funny bone. The circle fingers game part (even thought the mc deserved a punch for getting caught lol), Hilarious!

The visuals are amazing. I also enjoyed the angles and zoom in's. Just everything about this whole VN is great.

Fantastic game so far, I haven’t been this impressed by an opening game release in forever. Great renders, Great looking characters so far, the main character actually have real issues and not just some guy struggling to get laid.

Mental health is a real issue and should be taken seriously, I saw that in this game so far, Cassandra is a exceptional villain I love her. All around greatness.

One of the best storys i readed, the girls are beautyful.

The best part is Kindra gives Voulamount what she eran in the end of the last chapter DJ KinK is the best. Juju (june moon) is still my favorite

Amazing! Absolutely amazing! Good storyline and most of the time i was spent laughing at the funny dialogue. And P.S his ex love interest in the game looks exactly like Alexandra Daddario and that is a huge plus . I was actually very dissapointed when the newest release was over great job DEV ! The character designs are beautiful and well written all around 10/10

Art: Nothing special, neither renders nor animations stand out and both are average to other games on this site.

Story: Meh, again average. It attempts to do something different but it doesn't really make sense. Don't think I'm interested enough to play upcoming chapters.

Well, holy shit. If Porn games had AAA releases they'd be like this.

The dev is a fucking legend. This is definetly by far the best game i've played. Amazing animations andrenders. Incredibly good writing. The humour is on point. And it even has good, fitting sountracks. Honestly, it's an amazing game. Applause do the dev.

Fantastic game! Everything feels just a step above just about all the other games on here, and once I was done with the game, I kept thinking about it afterward and feeling sad that I couldn't go back to that world and stay in it a little longer. I can't wait to see where it goes. Keep up the great work, devs!

I'll start with the positives:
- Good selection of music;
- Good production value, although it's fairly inconsistent. Some renders look SD while others look UHD.. but all in all pretty good;
Neutral things:
- The "main" story. Guys gets fucked over by ex. Guy takes a long time to recover. Guy (re)meets girl that sweeps him off his feet,(more about that girl down below) with a sci fi twist.
Negative:
- Events make little to no sense. There're big-shot corporate types that spend their pastimes doing/attending collage sorority dik sucking contests with random people like it's as banal as going to the market to buy bread. It's like the author couldn't decide whether to do a collage story or a corpo story and decided to do both somehow. . . Anyway, i guess it's just more of the "can't jump on the protag's dick fast enough" type stories. I would have enjoyed it more if i didn't have to abuse my suspension of disbelief so much.
- The "main" love interest (at least in chapter one). Other than her looks i would't touch that with a ten foot pole. Who thinks people with possiblly bipolar personality disorders AND abusive demenour are attractive?? It ain't funny and it ain't cute. SMH. Author probably tried to make a colorful character and went about the worst possible way of doing it.
Other minor things like pacing (some scenes end and start too abrupt or sudden like there's something missing in-between)

Overall, just not impressed. Much better alternatives.

This is no doubt one of the best games on here.
The humor is fantastic, genuinely made me forcefully exhale through my nose. The fact that the texting is animated is just one of the small details that raises the quality enormously. Story-wise it is quite clever so far, very creative story telling, good introduction of new characters and good take on the emotional distress a woman can cause a man. Can't wait for the next updates, I have high hopes

Excellent Start! (NO SPOILER REVIEW)

Gotta admit, Wasn't expecting much going into the game but i was delightfully surprised at what i just experienced. While the renders, animations and music are above average what really makes this good is the amazing story and great characters (both the male MC and female love interests we're done exceptionally well).

The only downside to the game is that you will love most of these girls so much that its going to be extremely hard for you to pick one down the road.

Awesome renders and the story that IS there seems really intruiging. From what i can tell the characters arent just going to be cliches or completely surface level either. Almost certainly the best 0.1 i have seen.

The best I have seen so far...

The story is well written, at least your portrayal of that story is presented in an easy to follow format.

The animations are good, bordering great. Just add a bit more "randomness" to the bodily motions, to make it more human.

The models are good, bordering on great. Just add some more variety, some slim, some thick, different body part sizes.

The scenes are all original i think, and look great. Transitions are smooth.

The sex isnt over done. This isnt a porn game, this is an adult story where what is seen is what you would see. Kudos, that isnt easy to balance.

The sound is great, and is setup perfectly to the story. I got teary eyes there at the end, before i realized you had successfully queued the sound to make me feel sad. Perfect.

The humor is great, had me laughing several times. The playing with emotions isnt over done, and fits the story well.

I am just really excited to see something of this obvious quality. I cant wait to see the next chapter. I am even considering looking them up on patreon and donating, which is huge considering i am disabled living on food stamps and HUD.

It is clear the developer spends a lot time posing and giving the characters a personality. Which is nice to see. The models are nice and high quality as well as the scenes and backgrounds.

Characters: 5
The writing is top notch and the developer has a great sense of humor. All of the characters have depth and aren't just there for the sex. The main antagonist is a female character you meet instantly and other than her looks, she has no redeeming qualities...perfect for a antagonist. All the love interests have very different personalities, so you can pick and choose the one that suits your play style.

Plot: 5
As you start the game, you really aren't sure what the actual plot of the game is. The developer spends time building the characters and at the end of the first chapter you finally know what the plot is. Without giving anything away, I will say, that it seems to be a fairly original plot that isn't about getting laid, but revenge. Along the way, you meet the other characters and you help them, they help you. All in all, it was a refreshing story.

Action: 4
It's the first release of the game, so clearly there won't be too much action. You start the game out with a sex scene. Later, you do get to have sex with one love interest, if you play your cards right. And by default, you get a blow job. So there is some action, but this isn't an orgy like some other games.

Summary:
I think this developer has hit a jackpot with this game. It's got the graphics, humor, story and a great plot. You won't regret trying out this game.

Extremely enjoyable, fundamentally because the mc is not only very well written but has a really well balanced character. As others have said the line between pathos, humor, satire and self effacement is tiptoed perfectly. The adventures are quirky too which suits the personalities of the rest of the cast, especially Kindra who, for me, deserves a special mention.

Looking forward to the future with this one. It's a great VN and the Dev deserves every plaudit he is getting. Thanks a bunch digi.B. The pleasure's been all mine.

Honestly wasn't expecting much from this game. Simply downloaded it because I was bored. But the storyline was so good and I like the main character and the supporting characters. Normally I would skip a lot of things but this one is one of the games that I read through the conversations and plots. Good potential game here for me.
