Overview:
Ashes of Bavan is an adult monster breeding game inspired from Breeding Season and various tactical RPGs. You play as a young upstarting breeder, acquiring a farm to raise up an array of monsters unique to this game for the purpose of breeding better monsters or to send off to fight in turn-based combat. You start out small and limited, but over time you expand your farm to take care of larger amount of monsters and venture out to new land to meet new monster species, NPCs and take on various challenges to hone your battling and breeding skills. Perfect your training and rise up to become the king of monster breeding!​

We're happy to answer any questions you might have. To pre-empt the first question that will undoubtedly pop up, the public release of the latest build is tomorrow night (23/06/18). Hope you enjoy.

Also, due to a recent restriction on the blog by tumbr that effectively stops anyone not logged in to tublr and confirmed over 18 from seeing the blog, we will be changing the blogs location to blogspot. We'll make sure to provide you with an updated link for that.

I don't know what crazy shit the dev is trying to do in Renpy, but he should be using Unity instead. Renpy is not designed to handle this level of resource intensity. I barely make it anywhere before the game freezes. Don't bother downloading, if you can even get it to run it's still going to run like shit

We're sorry you feel this way. We're certainly pushing renpy to it's limit, but that is why ren'py was chosen in the first place. One of the beauties of ren'py is that you can modify the platform itself. There will be performance issues occasionally, but where there are, we are aware of them and are actively improving it.

For examples of awesome and "crazy shit" games created using ren'py i would reccomend looking up Baberunner by Xela and Sunrider: MaskofArcadius. Ren'py is capable of much more than it is given credit for in the right hands.

This thing is so buggish. Well, at least the macOS version (can't save manually, can't load saves at all, gives error and rollback does not help).
