For anyone curious. I messed around with skimming and rejecting all but one girl but I didnt really see any different content. with the skip unseen text option off. I did find if you reject Xi you get a pretty interesting conversation with backstory though.

So, it was mentioned by another member that the text speed might be causing the skipping. I'd always used max speed, so I never thought about it. But I lower the text speed as a test, and it worked. It doesn't skip the MC's dialogue. Curious but I thought I let you know.

okay just finished the entire game, but came back to say a few things. Game is great. Second you CANNOT show off some really peak charcter designs and not have them have any h scenes. Hope there is future updates regarding this. Now im going to enter an orgasmic unduced coma

I didn't even realize this was happening until you brought it up. I am missing MC dialogue, too. Not everything. It was easy to think it may have been intentional. Like the half of the conversation that you are reading was supposed to summarize the MC's input in the responses.
So I managed to replicate the error.
The problems does come from the display speed, it's not a double input, it's just that for some arcane reason, the game wants to go to the next line on the same frame it displays the text box. And I can't add delay to the textboxes, otherwise, it looks quite bad when switching one character box to the other. (a better dev would have Hex coded borders, but I just change the whole image)

In any case... This is the origin of the problem... And I can't fix it, as it's far into the engine code I use, and it's above my paygrade.
So my work around is just to prevent instant speed display. Max speed will be capped at 0.9999 out of 1.

I'll send that out in a bit.
Sorry about that. I didn't test instant speed display, as I never play with that.

I just hope for the people that reported this that you all use instant speed display, and that I didn't miss anything else.

Are there currently loyalty routes in the game? I recently got to the scene with Rachel as a guy banging everything with a pulse, where you get a rock talk with Vels brother about being being a poly prick and to say fuck it have fun. But that makes me think there might be a whole new way to play, and I am curious to see what events and special events play if I am a good boy to just one girl. Just wanted to check before replaying. Or is this a game where you are supposed to captain Kirk and just go have a ball.
The fact is, I kinda wanted to do have purely singular routes.
But the truth is that it's way too much work, and I'm in way over my head.
Thus, while you can only pursue 1 girl, the overall writing, while removing a couple elements of the whole "harem" thing, still keeps the same "poly" vibe.
I'd love to be able to focus on individual routes, but there is already way too much stuff, so unfortunately, that's not planned atm.

Hey Man, don't be so hard on yourself. You are killing it. The game is fun, interesting, and polished which is a million times better than 99% of what is on the site. I already replayed the scenes after figuring a work around and enjoyed the best girl Eva conversations I missed. Seriously man, great game, great art. Feel proud.

I donated good while back when you were just starting it up and if I had more scratch I would totally support more. I think only you and one other game every got into my wallet before and that thing has been on lock and key since Rare screwed me with Yooka-Laylee.

Thanks. I'm sure I'm not the only one who always plays with instant text speed when it's an option. It's more natural to how one normally reads books, comic books, or even subtitles. I'm sure this testing is driving you bonkers. :)

Dude, this is one of the best VNs out there for me. I've been following since the big kickstarter, and was exited ever since. Even if development comes to end, this will still always be one of the best sci-fi story games out there [not even mentioning the combat, which is interactability many games don't have]

Take as much time as you need, my friend!

Hey, yeah sorry, it means you're using an old save, and a new variable crashed the game.
The attached save here will allow you to see the end.
Save path: (LocalLow>CTS>AoW>Data>Saves)

Miller's sprite disappears when you bring Eva to the bridge for the first time . When you go back and then to the next part of the text again, his sprite is above Eva's.

This also happens at every point with Miller and one other character, such as the reactor scene. Aidan and Miller seems to work fine, but Eva disappears instead...

I double checked with the current version, but I'm 95% sure that's intended behaviour.
Miller not appearing is because he's supposed to the be "Pov" at this moment, so that's why his sprite isn't next to Eva.
And then his sprite is above... Because I never specified layer order for these two.
Though they are close because he's supposed to keep her in custody, so that was supposed to represent this.

Found a minor bug (?), on the beginning, when you have the flashback with admiral caldwell, his sprite doesn't show unless you backtrack the dialogue, in which case it does appear and stays for the flashback (1st pic is normal dialogue, 2nd pic is after backtracking it)

Makes me think I missed a whole plot point, or at the very least part of one...

Even if it's just supposed to be a placeholder, it'd be nice to have some solace that the plot leading up to this actually happened.

Oh well. Started a new game and just full skipped until this part. Thanks a lot for this VN, nice sprites, good characters, nice emotional beats. Hope you continue doing these and blessing us
