RPGM - Astrid: Blade Of Vallundra [v0.19] [OrenjiSlyce]

A bunch of really generic corruption game staples clumsily mashed together in a way that makes so little sense it's hard to even take as a parody or handwave as porn logic. When it comes to the actual sexy events, they're not bad, but the time in between them is painful. And good lord is the battlefuck system so bad it makes me actively avoid it. Any enemy using the system instantly stunlocks you and forces you to watch the same, extremely limited, set of cutins over and over. You get completely sick of it after 2 battles. You can just walk around them though so it's not a fatal flaw.

The game doesn't seem low effort with the amount of random extra touches the devs put in. But it dearly needs at least a basic editing pass to cut down on awkwarly long segments, fix the battlefuck system/AI/balance, and come up with at least a basic justification for a nation's foremost night to be desperately broke, using beginner gear, and taking humiliating jobs.

Overall a weak 3 with potential if the dev takes some time to polish things instead of just charging ahead with more content.

The game has probably the best location graphics I've ever seen in RPGM games. Lots of love poured into creating the game atmosphere. As others have mentioned, the MC is hot and likeable, and the gameplay isn't grindy at all. One of the most promising new projects!

I didn’t expect this game to feel so lively. The NPCs are surprisingly interactive, and there are thoughtful little details everywhere like a loaded cannon near castle that, if you accidentally touch it, prompts an NPC to react and say something.

One of my favorite touches happens in the armory. A customer NPC asks your opinion about a golden armor set, clearly excited. But when he inquires about the price, the merchant quotes something outrageous. You can see the customer’s mood sink, then he quietly returns the armor and leaves, shoulders slumped. It’s such a subtle, human moment that makes the game world feel less like code and more like a living place.

Would recommend to explore more aside of H events.

Verdict: The game is still a work in progress, but it already shows incredible promise and deserves financial support

The game's concept is excellent, the corruption is relatively quick, and the protagonist is super hot. I'll be keeping an eye out for future updates, and I hope they come out sooner, because I think the game is worth it and will have a good impact if it continues like this.

Great scene desing, good history and most important the creator of the game listens and tries to satisfy his community as much as possible and that is appreciated.

For a game in its early stages, it doesn't disappoint
