Because of really bad writing. I brought this up in the discord and got no response.
It really makes no sense at all. In act 1 he’s raping his sister while she’s asleep and yet in act 2 he thinks about how wrong it is to think about her sexually. The jarring change in the MC between act 1 and 2 gives me whiplash.
Not to mention the complete lack of story advancement. The plot hasn’t advanced at all in like 3 years of development and they want to cover the entire anime? They were setting up good story beats in act 1 with the MC potentially having the founder and how it’s an alternate universe to the main story and how mirror man knows this and how you being horny for the girls will change the timeline and absolutely nothing has come of it in arc 2.
I mean I dont see the MC as having changed that much personally, having just played through act 1 he was still pretty much questioning how right or wrong banging his sister was. I think the only progress made with that was once he realized his sister was also basically molesting him he thought of that as a go-ahead to do pervy shit but it seemed more like he was going with the flow than him suddenly being okay with it mentally. I dont really have that many problems with it all together I just think the somewhat jarring transition between act 1 and 2 single-handedly causing multiple continuity errors could easily be solved if the dev spent more than 30 seconds looking at it.
As for the story, I think its moving along well as the parts we have gotten so far are really the only parts that matter much in a porn game. Once the main story of the anime gets going the game will have less to cover as there isn't really any place for action in a porn game we would just be skipping around between various characters going on missions and things maybe seeing parts of it as they stop for a break and MC bangs someone in the woods or something. I think at max it will have 1 act and an epilogue at max 2 more acts as its going even if it does intend to do the whole anime.
as far as time into the game vs story development goes I feel this is actually moving at a pretty alright speed compared to similar games. I mean for fucks sakes 4 elements trainer is still in development and its been I think 8 or 9 years now since it first got started and they are both pretty similar overall; going for probably 4 acts total, being parody games with the intention to tell the entire story they came from with differences, being focused on a large harem and so on.
