I didn't find the videos added anything. It would be nice to have a couple visual scenes of characters interacting, such as catching a glimpse of Yara and Bailey playing games instead of exposition that says it happened.
It's strange to have the opening explicitly say it's from the MCs PoV only to then have scenes routinely continue after he leaves. conflicting messaging here.

Not really. Anything seen not from his POV you should take as factually happening. Anything he is recounting, sees, says...well that just a nice cop out for the dev to contradict himself when he needs to (which is quite a common tactic, it's not specific to the professor, though he does like using this).

I have no problem with an unreliable narrator, my issue is that creates a dissonance when, supposedly, your character's personal perspective and observations are what you, the player, perceives, only to then have scenes continue on without that character. It naturally causes one to read each situation as if from a third party, objective, perspective.
It also hurts characterization, as too many of the "cute" moments, particularly at first meeting, are not observed by the protagonist which causes further distance between the character and player perspective.
We know about the librarian's insecurities long before the character, yet he magically knows anyway, so why not have similar moments in his presence instead? This gets repeated every time the scene continues when the MC exits, not a hint of dramatic irony yet a pointless deviance from the stated single pov.

Don't remember the MCs of the other games this DEV has done but this and L&J makes the MCs sound like unbalanced therapist.

I doubt very much there will be a bad route. You're just aware of it...what can be done with your power and what the darkness wants you to do.

It's repeated time and time again that he needs to be careful and not go down that road and that the power can be dangerous. If anyone is looking for that, this is the wrong place to find it.

this goes right on top of the nope pile. one text heavy game with disclaimer to the factuality of the first person narrative as a scape goat to bad writing and loopholes was enough. more importantly, i simply couldnt relate to a single character enough to care about any of their existence.

wasnt bad, just completely missed the mark for me. shame too, after the completiong of multiple of my enjoyed supernatural avns over the last 18 months(and a couple abandoned works) ive been in the need for new stuff. oh well, i gave it a try

Personally, what I'm most interested in knowing is whether the non-traditional harem means the MC can end the game romancing all the LIs at the same time, with their knowledge and consent. Anyway, the part where it says "try not to get killed" makes my interest weak at best. And it doesn't improve my interest that I've ignored all the other games from this dev.

The scene is already set for them all to share and know. It's already right there disguised in the dialogue already. As weak sauce as it is (and cringe and tropey)...they will agree to it happily.

I liked this new Professor Amethyst vignette. Story has me engaged and I loved the LIs. The only thing is I didnt like is MC. He is much alike MC form L&J. But the MC of L&J is a decade younger traumatized loner guy so his manner of speaking and flirting I could overlook. But this guy sometimes makes me uncomfortable, and the ladies seem to like it. Even the married ones, so whatever, still enjoyed the game.

Apparently in this story's world, the planet spins the other way 'round. Meanwhile back on our Earth, sunsets happen on the west, not the east.

That could happen. Maybe the beach is on some weird shaped peninsula and is actually facing west. For example you may look up Cape Cod.

I agree, I think the story is interesting and engaging and has me really keen to see what happens next.

I didn't like the MC at first, but he actually grew on me, what I found annoying early on, it just seemed to get better (maybe as I understood his personality a little bit more).

The one thing I didn't like was the intense & constant flirting (bad & good) with everyone before the player has a chance to decide. You flirt so hard with every girl, that if you do turn them down (yes, I'm selective with who I add and like to mulitpath), the girl gets the shits. Can you blame her? you've chased her so hard and then, 'no thanks, not interested'. It makes the MC be an asshole and I'm not a fan of playing asshole MCs. But, I get it's a short vignette and can't have too much branching, so it is what it is.
