Great game. Very King's Quest meets porn (it's not exactly Leisure Suit Larry, it really is more like a King's Quest game, without the very old-school softlock deaths).

In terms of porn, it's at least good enough. If you're a pixel art connoisseur then this is an excellent mix of a wide range of girls and enough encounters with a few of them to be nonstandard.

The game itself can use a quick couple of fixes here and there- and where some people see "unfinished content" I personally see "sequelbait"

I don't think the plot is going to grip you as much as some of the better games on here, and the porn is not as good as other games on here, but it's only worse in both categories to a very very select pantheon of games on here. And only a handful of THOSE games offer a complete game experience. Fewer, still, are actually games.

Believe the 4's, believe the 3's, 2's and 1's even. It's certainly not a perfect experience. But I, personally, have given much worse games a 5 just for being only slightly better in story, only slightly better as a game, and only slightly better in porn. The fact that this game can be a triple threat while also being a complete experience that isn't so short is rare.

But it's absolutely true that some people might have a one-track mind, wanting a better story and not getting it, wanting a better game and not getting it, and wanting better porn and not getting it. The fact that before the release the game felt like it had more potential than this certainly doesn't exactly help. Still, easy 5 just for being a better as either a game, porn or story than your favorite game- even if your favorite game is miles better in 2 of those categories.

This game has it all,. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous and the mini games mini games are actually engaging. The writing is also not overly verbose and doesn't smell its own farts like most of these games.

Pretty good game with a nice ending too. (no epilogue thought)

Only thing i can nitpick is i think the dungeon scenes were wasted on unimportant monsters and could've done them for actual characters instead, but it is what it is.

Aurelia is an impressive point-and-click adventure game made by Mirthal in highly detailed pixel art and a sprinkle of rpg elements. You play as a young adventurous hero in your average fantasy world when a magic element is introduced to your daily life alongside a beautiful girl. From that on your job is to explore the village and surrounding locations, searching for new information about the magic around you and helping a long list of girls that will offer generous rewards. Between a numerous amount of minigames ranging from just fine to very fun, you will have to ponder like old in lucasarts games what to do next, taking in consideration the when and where things can be done to progress quests. The game has many smaller side stories for each character, offering a wide range of narratives to enjoy and be curious about. All of them lead to plenty of scenes with different girls, some in more creative ways than others. The main story is simple but very satisfactory while exploring details of a world of magic and deepening the relationship with the many characters at the same time. Since it has a simple gameplay, the main focus is on graphics and the content you can extract from it. Without a doubt, the game features stunning pixel art that ranges in quality from museum-worthy masterpieces to a bit less captivating ones. But every one is indisputably very well made. The animations deserve a special mention for their beauty and fluidity. The game wisely has an easy to access gallery where you can replay the dozens of scenes provided by the twenty four girls and even a long list of achievements to fill for fun and experience. The first full release still has some minor visual bugs and a couple of other wrinkles, but they are rare and far in between, not spoiling the enjoyment. Aurelia is certainly a great addition to this game sphere, being developed for a very long time but finally complete, showing all the care the creators had for the product, it is unquestionably a must have. That said, personally, I do miss the old theme music.

A very stylish and relaxed point and click adventure game. Wide variety of scenes, girls, and mini games to progress specific mechanics and sub quests. The pixel art is gorgeous and almost all scenes have some kind of animation to them.

A great game and great time to play.

Decent game with a great art style and a lot of scenes. The gameplay is broken into several mini-games, ranging from simple arcade game to a short dungeon crawl. None of it is amazing on its own, but the overall package is well above average.

Here is my review, recommendations for future updates/games, and bugs need to be fixed.

    Review:
The game is really good and having the character's mission available to be seen in the Journal is pretty refreshing. There is no missable scenes and if you did miss one, you can still get it. There are some things that could be added and changed for me to give it a 5 star, but I will discuss it in recommendations. The animations are really good and there is at least one sex animation for each main girl. The art style is unique and good and the gameplay is good and not that frustrating.

    Recommendations:
    • Tip section for unlocking characters (Slime girl is easily kissable if the player doesn't use the garden often and would be hard to figure out what to do.)
    • Animated Sex Scenes for Melkor Realm girls (Atleast for the bosses)
•Thrust and Moan Audio for Sex Scenes
•Journal Completion Text (When you complete a character storyline, you should have a "No more content" text)

    Bug Fixes:
•Journal Issues (Some characters have text saying to do stuff, Examples are Ivy, Demon Girl, and Brothel Girls)
•You could finish Crystal Storyline even if you never triggered the sex scene for Blackjack.
•Frog Girl still gives you the character tips when she transforms to Dragon, but the tips are not needed because of the Journal

Having coming back to this game over the years I can gladly say its lives up what I was hoping it to be the art is beautiful and the story is interesting only thing i can say is I hope the developer adds more to the game very much worth the time playing it.

I'm half tempted to give it three stars, but for the sheer quality of the art and content available I feel that would be unfair.

To keep it short, this is a beautiful game with tons of sexual images. There's plenty to do and discover. My main gripe of the game is that everything is shallow. Girls jump your bone almost immediately and despite there being a lot of colorful characters all the interactions feel empty.

Don't expect any depth, but if you want a beautiful scene hunter game you've come to the right place.

A 'pretty good' H-game that's got some notable flaws keeping it from being great.

The discrepancy in the art is noticeable. Some scenes are great, while a number seem to have minimal shading or detail. It's a decent game, though the pacing is odd and some minigames are inconsistent or not all that fun. It could really use a patch or some polish. Not a bad game but not one of my favorites and while the art some of the scenes is really good, it's not the spiciest game despite a pretty broad range of women or activities.

I really like this game, but there are some QOL things that need some work. For one, I'd say remove the Ohro minigame, it's absolute garbage that kills your eyes. There's not enough space between the boxes and puddles, and the screen moves fast enough to make it seem blurry and makes you dizzy. The stagger upon hitting one thing often makes you hit 3-4 in a row to towards the end of the run.
Edit: I almost forgot the lemmings dragon minigame, it was also pretty terrible. The screen moves and causes you to place actions in the wrong spot, and no keyboard shortcuts for said commands is also pretty bad. You don't have much time to place the command before your idiot dragon kills itself, and having to move the mouse back to the corner of the screen FOR EVERY INDIVIDUAL COMMAND and back to the map often causes your idiot dragon to die.

The alchemy is clunky and slow if you have a lot to make at once. If you have a recipe, why do you still have to individually put in ingredients instead of just clicking the recipe? Also, adding ingredients individually with a hold-click slows it down and is unnecessary. If it takes 3 of the same thing to make something, you should be able to batch add instead of having to do it one at a time, or just click a recipe like stated earlier.

The animations that are there are OK, but could be better. They don't match the dialogue very well and only have one pace/speed when moving, which doesn't make much sense. It would be better to have at least 2 "speeds" for the animations that change as the dialogue ramps up. As is, it just seems kind of... disconnected from each other and awkward.

The story and characters are pretty fun, quite diverse and interesting. I also like the art and the retro style, as well as the colors used. The music is well-chosen, doesn't get annoying, and sets the moods for different places and events well. For me, with some tweaks, this could easily be a 5 star game. As it stands now, I'll stick with 4. Hopefully the dev(s) keep making games and polish up their skill set, because there's some great potential.

    + Good story
    + Lots of girls
    + Well written characters
+ Doesn't require lots of grind
+ Mostly good puzzles, mostly well written hints (except for the candelabra)

    - Different artstyles now and then.
    - Abrupt ending.
    - Some of the girls have too little content
    - Boring (and sometimes necessary) minigames

Some fantastic models and backgrounds, varied but tedious minigames, and underwhelming sex scenes put this as a lower rating for me.

The earlier builds were astonishingly promising but a lot of the great art and scenes that are used to promote this game have been removed. Those jaw dropping highly detailed artworks, few as they were, are just gone.
Well, not entirely. Some of them still show up as thumbnails for their new versions in the journal but I can't find a way to view them in their former glory.
Maybe the dev did it to make the whole game more visually consistent but it comes off as lazy. It seems like either the original artist for the great art stopped working on it or someone is just cutting corners.
Wildly disappointing. Each girl still gets a very serviceable animated scene but then are bogged down with mundane slideshows after.

Barring all that this is still a complete and competently crafted game. The dungeon crawling and arrow defense games drag on far too long though.
If I had never played the earlier releases I'd be a lot more excited but seeing those fantastically crafted scenes buried is unsettling.

As it stands, Aurelia is arguably the best all-round hand drawn AVG. There's a thick atmosphere of a high fantasy world drawn in a very pretty pixel-art style. Everything about the game has an undeniable charm and clear demonstration of care and passion put into the project. Great lineup of fantasy characters and humans for romance with scenes admittedly varying in count and quality however never feeling out of place as far as art style concerned, just evident that the more pivotal characters got a bit more detail with their scenes.

    TL;DR: All style, no substance.

I believe i will be on a more negative side of the review, because for every point game does very well it got 3 points where it fails horribly. And the whole package, sadly, just does not deliver.

Let's get presentation out of the way immediately, this game was on the radar for many years because of the visuals. Visuals are absolutely phenomenal here, it's true and undeniable, HOWEVER i expected all the scenes to be animated, but in truth for every beautifully animated scene we have around 4 that are just still images. Pretty images, but still.

The second part of the presentation that, unlike visuals, failed this game critically is sound. There is none. At all. There is music, but if you are hoping to hear any sort of moan, slurp, some sounds of delight, clapping cheeks or literally anything besides your PC fans - it ain't here, game is absolutely, fully, completely silent. It sucks.

Gameplay tho. In a nutshell it's a scene collector, you have morning-afternoon-evening-night as usual, you go to various places, click various things, unlock new various scenes. It's as simple as that, you've seen it million times before. What game sadly have in abundance are very annoying and often prolonged mini games, some of them you need to play once, some several times, but all of them vastly outstay their welcome and become exuberant guests you can't wait to throw out the window. I cannot not mention the dungeon crawling part, which is... alright all things considered, it's there. It's overly simplistic and unsatisfying but it functions, i suppose i can't ask for more here.

Now for the part that forced me to put it on 3 and not 4, the girls. Visually they look awesome, style carries the game hard, but the nature of relashionships with them is a very pump-n-dump stuff, with only one girl (Amber) it sort of somewhat if you drink enough resemble actual relashionships and it has a pace and it actually develops. For the rest? "Oh neat, you brought me a frog? Let me suck you off". You talk with a character for 2-3 times, sometimes less, before they jump on you, they have no emotional development, it's all complete nonsense with everyone ready to jump on MC the zettasecond they see him. It doesn't help that scene transitions are probably among the most awkward i have ever seen. Let me give you an example:

You train in magic in the yard, stuff gets horny, you both are all like "hell yeah let's do this", then it fades to black, and next click or spacebar press it's a fully naked animated scene in the bed. There is never any foreplay, sensual touching, undressing, there is no nuanse in approach at all, every scene in the game is just "stick it in a hole and do it". And it's just not... good. It just feels like shit and feels pretty lazy.

Overall for all it's hype, game is depressingly, clinically FINE. You won't waste your time playing it, might have some good times, but ultimately it's an underdeveloped and simplistic emotionally discharged scene collector and you are extremely unlikely to have a great time either.

Very very good game. Heartily recommended.

    Pros -
    1. Gorgeous hand drawn artwork. Always appreciate seeing 8-bit retro style in 2D pixel format.
    2. From the very beginning, the game feels like a proper fully fledged game. The player is introduced to the game via a static cutscene played at the start of the game. Similar to how you used to see in older gen Nintendo/PSone games.
    3. The story is decent and not the general shovelware. There is some resemblance here and there which I thought of more as a inspirations taken from right sort of games.
    4. The game has proper RPG mechanic instituted into it. You can level up your character as per experience gained from completing quests.
    5. The title screen and menu are minimalistic and neat. Customized as per context of game. UI also seems pretty neat and user friendly.
    6. The characters models are very well drawn and rendered. The animated scenes in middle are just brilliantly done.
    7. The game has multiple locations which can be accessed via map. Further locations opens up as you explore.
    8. Each screen has few interactive elements in it for you to discover.
    9. Lots of content to keep you entertained.
    10. The game has an achievement screen similar to psn trophies or steam achievements which I thought was very well implemented.
    11. This game also features a few different minigames for you to enjoy. They were so well done and kind of reminded me of stardew valley in most appreciative way.

(Not exactly Cons but more of things to know before you dive in) -
    1. Although I love the 2D 8-bit style artwork, I understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
    2. I experienced a bug while playing when my game froze. (Although the creator made a great little feature to curb these kind of issues by giving experience to level up if you report a bug. So I didn't mind it and love this small little detail)

Despite the few things I pointed out, I still feel this is one of the most complete and well rounded games I have played here. So I would rate it 5/5. A perfect score. The developer has decent knowledge about gaming mechanics and has a good artwork to support it. Its a very well made game in general without any kind of bloat. Everything about it shows professionalism. Would be waiting for more games from him.

Great pixel art point and click game with tons of scenes and characters. There's plenty of mini games and dungeon diving if you're looking for more of an adventure, but if you just want to turn your brain off and skip past that, the dev has enabled cheats to max out stats and give free gold, so there's no way to play this game wrong.

    yodyna

    6/5 game.

Art style is outstanding, sex scenes are very hot, music is simple and fitting/relaxing. It has actually a gameplay and a very well made one for a clicker, duh, even story is decent. In short a must play.

Also it weights like 80MB which is just silly.

    detract

Top notch visuals, characters, story, sub-plots. Good exploration, a tad bit confusing at times but good overall.

The character-progression (stats) is not well thought out. As you will level as much as you want at any stage of the game, which will make the difficulty curve extremely volatile.

The mini-games are boring after the first few times and are sometimes mandatory for progression.

If the gameplay wasn't so mini-game focused this would be 5/5.
