Hey, guys! Aurora's Fog 0.1.1 update is out and you can give it a try on the game page:
This patch is designed to fix minor bugs in the game, as well as improve the balance. It also adds Spanish localization to the game. For the help in translation, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the player under the nickname Puniasterus. The full list of changes you can find in the changelog.

honest to god, at this point just post a video to explain how the lockpicking system works, tried this across three separate versions and still no luck.

CATINMASK Were you made aware of the bug where talking to Yotra and I believe entering the sex scene while she is waking up/sleeping will cause her to get stuck in her bed after ending the scene (or at least this is how I believe the bug occurs)

This bug happens due to animation transition from state walking to sleeping and player making a save at this moment. I know about this bug and hope to fix it soon.

Hi. I seem to have some problems. My curser never seems to be where the interaction should be. In the main menu I have to hover the mouse left and down from where I want to click. Anybody else have that issue? I already tried differnt resoutions and aspect ratios. Same problme still.

Edit:
Doesn't really show much on the first picture, the mouse ist't visible.
On the second one I opened a chest and the menu is obscured bottom right.
Third shows that there is more in the inventory but it ist above the screen.
On fourth I opened settings.

I can't for the life of me get past 30 seconds of this game's content. After the character creation and the first introduction dialogue were done, I was stuck at the bed and could not move around no matter how hard I spammed WASD, only spinning in place with mouse movement. There were no tutorials or guides showing up anywhere on the screen so I tried interacting with the surrounding. Looking at the bed and pressing E froze the game. Pressing ESC to open menu froze the game. I set every graphical settings to the lowest and got the game relatively smooth but that still didn't help at all. The game just froze at every action I took other than looking with my mouse.

EDIT: I messed around at the keybinds and could not change any of them. I thought maybe it was because your game somehow didn't register my keyboard, but it worked fine when I named my new character. Perhaps it was really another problem that froze the game earlier.

One of the players already had this or similar problem. You need to open Settings.json (located in Aurora's Fog_Data/Saves/Settings/) and set Dynamic resolution value to 0. Or try changing it in settings menu (disabled). I think it does not work right with 4k resolution monitors.

You can try deleting Settings.json file, which located in Aurora's Fog_Data/Saves/Settings/) and restarting the game. If this won't help you can add me in Discord (Catinmask) and I'll try to help you solve this problem.

Sorry, I din't find a similar post. But your solution works. Thank you.

[LOCKPICKING]
I finally understood. Here's how you do it.

1) HOLD SPACE to insert the pick and move around until you hear a distinct "click" that is different than the normal ticking noise of turning the pick. Once you've found it, RELEASE SPACE to avoid breaking the pick from stress.

2) Find the spot precisely by TAPPING Space. If you hit a blank position, you won't hear anything and holding LMB won't move the pick. If you hit the correct spot, you will hear the "click" sound from earlier, and then you can finally hold LMB + turn clockwise all the way to unlock the pad.

The dev was right, it's really easy once you know how to do it. I think the problem is that the text guide are not precise enough + disappears too fast when the player don't exactly know what to do yet (maybe always show it until the player successfully pick their first lock) + the tolerance for the "sweet spot" to pick the lock is quite small, you may hear the correct "click" sound and stop before another turning click can be heard, but your pick is already outside of the threshold, creating an illusion of already plugging the pick in the correct spot and holding LMB doing nothing. So that's that.

Sounds like what the dev really needs to do is make that small crack of a space you have to find bigger if you have to be that precise about it. No wonder people weren't getting it.

They should just get rid of the lock picking minigame, it is never fun.

I agree because it doesn't seem to serve any real purpose in the game so far. It just blocks you off from 3 doors that you can get keys for to unlock and nothing else. I might get it if the game had more places to explore and you could find chests that you have to unlock with lock picking, but as it is right now, it's just a small one-time hindrance to the rest of the game.

I have 3 questions:
1- How to get the blue ore if you have already emptied the bags (2 bags found)?
2 - I have exhausted all the ore "sites". Do they come back?
3 - When do we meet "Malagdaer"? I missed it once. I missed him once. Does it come back later in the game?

1. You can get it by mining the ores. In 0.1.1 I've added one in the stash, but you need to start the new game.
2. No, but I'll fix this problem in the future updates.
3. Malagdaer does not spawn in the demo build, sorry.
