CATINMASK I've been playing the latest update from here on and off for a while, and have a couple of questions.

Has the animal fat loot been changed? I remember it was relatively consistent in the previous version but I must have killed 20+ wolves up to now and not had a single bit of it.

Also I can't seem to find the sharpening kit or a frying pan anymore and if memory serves they were found somewhere in the forest previously but I've looked everywhere except the abandoned village to the north as I was waiting for the quest to check it out before going there.

Any help would be great. :giggle:

Sharpening kit is west of the village. Follow the path similar to when fox lady wants you to find her stash. Its just a wee bit north of that.

The frying pan is located most north just entering the woods. Its at the tent with the campfire. Its actually in the campfire accessories along with a pot I think.

Hey! I think I lowered animal fat drop chance. Now it's about 50% + your survival skill.
Sharpening kit is in the sack stash that near spider's nest. And frying pan is in the second stach, in campfire. You can find it if you use the main village exit and go to the north-west (45 degrees to the left).
And the second village is removed for now, I'm not sure I would add it in the next update but I already working on expanding the game aread and new points of interest. Plus I already returned the full game map, it's needed for some new story missions. Before/After:
Wow thanks, I must have run past that sack 100 times, and never thought to check the fire at the camp site...

A little sad to hear about the other village but not a huge loss as I feel it was only a little horror esque side quest, although it was nice to have another village near by, it made the map feel a little more interesting but as I say that looking at the pic you attached maybe more POI's will be added later on with the map expanding.

And as for the animal fat I guess I'm just getting very unlucky, I'll see about increasing my survival skill more maybe that will help. (currently at 22)

I started a new game and got to the centaur again, but this time I guess I didn't have everything needed to fix her leg. My only dialogue option is "I'll come back" and she is there the next day as well. She never started a quest or anything so there is no direction from the journal. I'm forgetting what was said first time, but I'm guessing I need to make a splint for her leg or something similar. I've collected wood, but don't know what else to acquire.

Hey guys, can you please tell me what can I do to improve the game in terms of balance/gameplay/visuals...? I don't know but as far as I see the game is not popular and I can't say why. I was thinking that the balance was the main problem but after some changes in food balance almost nothing changed. I think from your player's perspective it's easier to see the main problems.
I can think of many tweaks and rebalancing that I would like to see, but those are just petty things that are a matter of minor preference. I don't think thats really the answer. I tend to think that games like this are quite a bit different than the average game on this site. This game is completely interactive like any traditional video game, but most games on this site are not. Its a porn game, but there isn't a heavy focus on porn content so there really is no reason to autopilot some of the content to free up one hand. I don't play that way in any porn game anyway.
The point is, I think it mostly comes down to a matter of preference. While this game is fun to play it doesn't necessarily check a lot of boxes for the average person searching for porn games. The excitement I get from this game is character building/exploring/survival. The porn is like a nice background that could be eliminated and I'd still like this game.
Don't get me wrong, the porn scenes are done really well. The detail to the models and the animations are really nice. Maybe if there was more porn it would attract others, I can't tell that sort of thing. I really do like the sex scenes a lot so maybe just more of that?
Sadly, most 3D games on this site suffer from one thing or another and eventually get abandoned. Or the devs lose all ambition and its then used to milk donors as long as possible. I think if you keep your focus and polish it up really well and then release it you will find that it will pick up attention more and more every day. Simply completing a 3D game would be a masterful feat and put you far ahead of others with bigger ideas and bigger teams. If its going on Steam there will not be a lot of competition in terms of 3D games so it should get a lot of attention easily.

I second the above comment about adding more porn scenes, the game itself is really quite good for the RPG/survival elements. But maybe more characters or just more options for the sex scenes with the current npcs. I also know you just added the centaur woman and are planning on bringing back the merchant, I remember he had a female companion you could help with a wounded leg. Maybe adding a couple of scenes to her as a thank you for the help similar to the new character.

Honestly add more poses and focus on finishing the sex interactivity because as is it's not really that engaging to just fuck the girls and wait for cumming, make them be able to cum as well and add a pleasure meter for both for starters. As for the RPG stuff I guess you can give more interesting quests than just go and find X to make Y, add more cooking tools so that players don't soft lock themselves when they finish cooking and they're unable to use the furnace in any character's home, or just make the furnaces usable again when you reach a certain relationship because it's silly that they let you fuck them but not use the furnace again. Maybe also add more enemy types and gear, though in my opinion the sex interactions and variety should be a priority at the moment. In terms of balance I don't really see anything urgent to fix, though some "pain" animations on the enemies that occur by chance so they can stop attacking you for a bit would be a good.

Might be worth mentioning you can kick the wolves to stun them for a second or two if you weren't already aware but an extra animation to slow them down would be nice

Completely forgot you can do that lol, I usually spam them with the sword and axe, after the upgrades they usually kill them in 2-4 hits

Same, totally forgot about kicks. I saw it in the controls list when I first fired up the game, but never entered my mind again after that.

About more "interactivity": Vlada's act anim has a lot of interactivity, in fact all the stuff listed in the pause menu is available in Vlada's animation. I would also add that her animation has about ~3k of frames, when other devs usually make about 60-120 frames. Also she has orgasm animation, and switching the "holes" is also animated and is not made with "blending" like some devs do, lol. And I also planning to work on all new animations this way + rework older anims.
Nice work indeed, though I mean across all characters and I don't doubt that's coming gradually, as for their holes I like how they work/move so good work on that as well. I'd help but my experience with Unity is limited at best though if there's other tasks I can assist with, you can message me. Also is there a chance for Shaartan's old look to return as another character? It has it's own charm.

I don't think I emphasized this enough, but your animations really are well done in terms of how real they look. And erotic too. In the free version at least, they may be simple and most functions don't seem implemented yet, but they simply look good. I wouldn't have guessed 3k frames, but I guess that is the reason.

Thanks but no, sorry. I think any work should be paid for but I'm not a VN dev to have money to hire devs for help. If you want to help you can just give some ideas/critics about the game. Plus I won't mind if you add a review, this may also help boost the game's rating on the site.

With "wild" hair? I don't know I do have a lot other stuff to do. Plus each player ask about what he wants: story, girls, new equipment, combat system... and I have only 2 hands. And some of them complain that I'm doing the "wrong" stuff instead of the one they want.
I mean the idea as a whole as it's far from a priority, do your thing and don't burn yourself out.
I'll write a review for sure but I'd like to see what the next update brings first before I do that.
As for the help - fair enough, though I don't mind working on small stuff for free like some errors in the english translation (I'd translate it to bulgarian too but since me and 2 other people at best are the only ones who would play it - there's no point), as long as it helps progress the game further along, when I get a more stable income I'll see about supporting it with a donation here and there as well.

I've played a few hours of your game, up until I messed up by placing the mortar I found in one of the tutorial ovens and couldn't complete one of the later quests. Other than that I didn't have any issues and the game felt more polished than what I was expecting which I mean no offense by saying, it's just that most games here that are more complex than a VN tend to be very unpolished. "Expectations" I think is the key word here, I saw this game in the latest updates section, with VN/html/renpy games filtered out, of course, and saw the unity tag along with a game I'd never seen before. The banner and the name don't say a lot about the game but it's on this website so it's got adult content, right? That's the only expectation I had going in.

I'm glad I gave it a chance though because what I did play I really enjoyed, it kind of reminded me of the gothic games but I think the things I liked would probably turn your average person off. First and foremost, the game is a slow burn experience, most people going in to a game that has adult content expect to see it relatively quickly but you can't do that here. Then there's cooking which I hate to complain about as you've quite clearly wrote an explanation of how it works in game but even with that I still screwed up my first meal because I didn't realize I had the campfire icon selected rather than the pot.

I'd never ask you to change how cooking works because if you wanted it to be a simple "just have the ingredients" you'd have went with that first but idiot proofing the instructions would go a long way, I think. Something like a still image that has arrows pointing to various elements and what they do, at first I assumed that simply having the pot icon meant that any recipes that called for it would be covered not realizing that it was selectable. It's a system that I've never seen before and deceptively simple once you figure it out but I feel like the player could be eased into it a bit more.

Speaking of hand holding, I didn't realize I could sleep on the bench, by the time I'd spoken to everyone, got quests, and explored, night fell and I was completely stuck, as a last resort I thought about a bench I'd seen near a campfire earlier and tried using it on a whim in pitch black darkness (I didn't know about the lantern in the blacksmiths chest at the time). Maybe it was pointed out in dialogue and I forgot but a camera pan to the camp site, after being told you can use that would help cement that better in the players mind when starting out. Along with this, I don't recall any of the characters telling me I could use their chests for storage, I'd just assumed I couldn't since it says in dialogue that they don't appreciate you barging in and using their crafting stations/beds so I assumed the chests were part of that.

I wish there was more I could say or do, but that was my experience as a new player, for what it's worth. I'm a bit biased when I say this as I really liked your game but if I had to guess as to why it never picked up speed, it's probably because it's more complex and slow compared to your average adult game which is a shame because this game has a lot of soul, the fact that you've worked on it this long with so little support is proof enough and overall it's a very well presented game.
