I remember playing this game over a year ago, but it involved the Main Character being an Author who would drive around place to "Gain Inspiration". Then he gets a call from a previous fling who is "Dieing" I believe, about having a long lost daughter. He has a PI investigate her, before finding her and bringing her home.
