Unreal Engine - Completed - AV Director LIFE! [Steam] [TeamKRAMA]

Some people said its repetitive and boring,

But for me, i enjoy the whole game, i don't mind with the grind and impossible inferno level of each mini-game (I manage to complete them all without cheat and it's really rewarding).

I love the concept of the map, and each area. its isometric with hidden object you can find. i spend so much time to explore every side of map, lol.

For the main mechanic (AV Shooting and Editing), it's fun and engaging.
To start the shooting, i'm planning a story board with concept and try to mix any scene that suitable for the concept of my video.

You can name it:
- Maid Concept
- Bunny Concept
- NTR
- Femdom
- The progression of pure girl became bitch

So far, i have more than 50GB of scene recording lol.

Can't wait for the next update. And i hope developer will add more action for side character or new interaction for side character in different map to make it more immersive or something else to spend on because i paid all of the debt and buy every item, hehe~

Pro:
-Interesting system and progression.
-Okay-ish model.
-Different-ish location.

Cons:
-Game dragged on for far too long once you know what you're doing and tunnel-visioning in the later half of the game (the game lasts for 70 in-game days and I think I spent a third of that skipping all daily activities because I couldn't bother).
-Side girls are barely existent and only there to remind you that there are 4 girls.
-POV shots are extremely wonky and are sometimes counted as if the actor's body block the camera and thus that footage roll is worthless.
-The game is extremely, and i mean extremely, poorly optimized which only gets worse as the game goes on and stores, renders all videos you've ever made in your pc/lap which bogs down performance quite fast.
-The save/auto save system is really scuffed, esp the auto save as it saves when you click an action instead of finishing an action meaning if you crash as soon as you perform an action and load the auto save, your stamina is gone while the action is not performed.
-Idk if this is balancing reason or not, editing videos costs merely 10 stamina but you can edit multiple videos for that 10 stamina. But putting an edited video on for sale costs 45 stamina and you must spend that 45 stamina PER video uploaded. It's absolutely bonkers.
-Video editing and uploading, esp in the later stages of the game, will crash a lot so do remember so save your progress before and after each action.
-The H-scenes and movements are fine for the most part. But like most AV directors out there, it gets tired after the 100th time you see it so it's recommended that you use cheat engine to speed up the filming process and save your sanity or else.
- The debt repayment is an interesting deadline mechanic but if the player is an absolute grindset, it means absolutely nothing as you'll end up with enough money for the rest of the game before the mid game even rolls in.
-Some of the basic QoL features like 'seeing a clickable object' or 'viewing past scenes with SIDE girls' or 'seeing a possible event' are locked away until mid game which means you have to go pixel hunting in an otherwise performance-taxxing game to make the most out of the early game and your enjoyment of it.
-Some side jobs are designed to be played and completed using cheat engine in mind to slow down the game.

pros:
-fairly slow corruption
-varied minigames
-interesting situations

cons:
-awful optimization
-ai translation makes things cryptic
-inability to replay scenes with side characters to 100% the game
-bodily fluids vanish in thin air

an interesting game with concept of making AV, i think im pretty addicted to this game, and i enjoy playing it maybe there some issues like how can this game eat up storage and the game optimization is nonsense and limited character, so you need to bear yourself with repetitive shi*t thing, but after all, this game is good and new for me

i give this game 3.5/5 actually if there no issues with optimization for this game i like to give it 4.5 for sure

Incredible management game with pretty decent porn. Also some stuff in there for NTR enjoyers like myself! If you're someone who prefers a porn game to have actual gameplay, this is definitely something to try out! Can be a little difficult to understand but not as bad as some other people have said.

tl;dr: Good management game, worth playing

Great idea, well thought gameplay, ok graphics with extreme potential. Needs some QoL improvements but overall it could have been greatest sex game ever with proper budget and time. Totally worth your money and time if you are looking to play a sex game.

This game has interesting learning curve. After my 3rd restart i finally figured it out and enjoyed the hell out of it. Story is generic porn story, girl has debt and decides to sell porn. There are lots of fetishes which can be unlocked with progress and searching the map. Game feels like it is from 2006, which i like.

Pros:
+Great idea and gameplay.
+Mechanics are interesting.
+Animated scenes feel good.
+Models are nice.
+Sound is nice, there was some banger soundtrack for one of the part time jobs.

Cons:
-Learning curve is similar to CoH2 and War Thunder
-Limited customization
-Limited characters

Tips:
-Game uses "badge" system which is similar tags for western audience, to get a badge you need to shoot similar themes not shorter than 20 secs. Each position has a badge value when you hover mouse over it so you can pick up similar tags and increase value of your porn. For example cumming in a 20 sec section counts as orgasm so if you film 2 20 second clips with cumming, it will net a you bronze orgasm tag.
-Always have 2 devices to record. You can buy cheapest phone at the beginning doubles your battery and hence you can create longer more pricy vids
-First week is like training, you might need to restart couple of times until you feel comfortable with the mechanics. First regular sex clip you film can net you +30.000 if you play your cards right.
-Produce a film on first day and proceed with exploration. I usually film 2 movies and grind pool side job for money in 1st week, which carries my game.
-Energy management. Never run out of energy, returning home is free. Plan your moves.
-Lockpick and moderate phone are great investments, you need extra 90K for these. Lockpick unlocks with affection and phone is unlocked with debt payment progress.
-Fetishes are not equal. Some NTR scenes you wont lose energy(girl fucks her real boyfriend) and early on with proper investment, makes you lot of money(+100K you can get from recording).
-Gifts are extremely useful and cheap timesavers. To fully exploit the girl you need to grind affection and lust.
-If you have nothing to do and have energy, do the side jobs. Pool side job can net you between 7k-9k for 30 energy.
-Compilation videos. After filming 5+ movies you can use your old movies. For example you can take every missionary position from earlier vids and create missionary compilation vid. Longer the vid better and nets you crazy amounts of money.
-Collect underwear from pool and girls house, respawns every 2-3 days. You can sell it to adult shop later, if you have been doing it since first week, you will get 100K+ money. OR you can hold on the these and sell it when girl is really popular. When she is popular her underwear goes 60K a piece(you might need to do adult shop quest and fan appreciation vid first)
-Some dates are traps. You lose too much energy and gain nothing. Useful dates are usually first dates if you are doing it early on.
-Side content is non profit, so dont bother recording. Most side content is there to unlock you new stuff.
-Life seed is very important item. You get it by collecting purple porn coins and clearing side char stories. Get the first one ASAP by visiting and collecting all coins from first few locations. Character who trades these coins is in the park. After life seed he doesnt give you anything useful, more like he gives customization items and options for your movies. Which are not very useful.
-If you are gatekeeping for your fetish, you will have hard time. So dont bother yourself with the game unless you enjoy pain.
-Longer vids get better reviews and increases max price. 5 minute vid can be sold for 500, 2 min vid for 200. Each minute adds 100. So longer vids will have better badges and pricing. You can earn 1M each day with single vid. Specially when she is 3 and + popularity.

Not a 5 star game but i am rating it 5 due to some people rating it way low.

The game has the best first 10 hours that i've played in a porn game. Had the potential to be one of my favorite games ever that can replay forever, but this game have some problems.

1. Need a lot of grind, but the grind gets repetitive and boring, to the point that i thought of let the game in 2nd plane and do something else.
2. Models of the girls are VERY SIMILAR, to the point that i get a new girl and think, "weeelll, looks the same as the last girl"

It has some other problems like drain your pc storage, but you can "clean" so its not a big problem for me.

I'm reviewing the first 10 hours, idk how will be later because im done with this game, the debt scale like crazy, maybe the game will force you to share the girls so you can get more scenes and sell them, which can be another problem.

I know im only pointing the bad things, but as i said the first 10 hours are amazing, and just for that i recommend this game.

Not a 5 but not a 2.5 how ppl are scoring this game. At least a 3.5.

I didn't finish the game, but I played a good part of it. I liked it initially, but the grind is too much. I like the simplicity of the story, but the mechanics of editing the videos are a bit confusing at first, and not knowing exactly what you have to do to unlock the other parts of the game is quite annoying.

Ok, I have strong mixed feelings for this one. (V1.012)

TLDR: Game is fun but have too much Control optimization problems to be playable at a satisfactory level. Wait for QoLs, or be ready to face a very, very clunky game that will eat your storage space very fast.

The premise is fun.

I've never seen a game putting you in the shoes of an AV Director, or at least not with this amount of details. This is its greatest boon and curse at the same time.

If you like the fantasy of being an AV Director, the game is, frankly, very fun. You shoot your scenes and edit those the way you want before selling the final product and enjoy profits (or not lol).

The DA is "good enough". 3D Cell shading is well executed, but we're nowhere near Heat in Summer, and this is now my benchmark for DA and 3D Quality.
Still, this is way better than 70% of the others Anime 3D since they didn't used KK or HH as a rendering Software.

I'm a little disappointed with the animations. Most of them are good, but there's a lot of clipping between objects, and a few of them are really clunky (the 1st cowgirl scene, to give one exemple).

The story is surprisingly light hearted and fun. You're in big debt, both you and a girl you just met, and found no other solutions than try and pierce in the AV Industry to clear off those debts.
Is it dumb ? Surely. Is the girl very open minded ? A tad, indeed.
But the story doesn't take itself very seriously, and that's what make it fun. Devs know this is an absurd situation and embrace it, as you should aswell.
The Phone interactions are cool, and the side characters all have very distinct personalities.
The main FMC is also fine. It's kind of a money hungry girl, smart enough to understand her situation and the things she has to do to escape her predicament.
Personality wise, she's on the Tsundere side if that's your thing, but it's very mild (we're nowhere near Asuka level gahaha)

Well while all those things are good, to enjoy them, you actually need to INTERACT with the game.... And this is where it starts falling apart.

The Controls are so clunky, it undermine the game, tremendously.
Camera Control is a nightmare. I don't know who had the idea to use "Hold Right Click AND PRESS WASD" at the same time to move.
And this rule holds true for every camera movement. Want to Zoom? Hold Right Click and press CTRL, etc etc...
The game revolve about shooting scenes, but every single control scheme is made to be 2 Handed... And let's face it, we're playing a Porn Game.
If you HAVE TO use 2 hands when H-Scenes happens on the screen, how are you supposed to fap? I mean, if you're lucky enough to have a girlfriend blowing you while playing, I guess that's fine, but aside from that, you'll lose a lot of momentum during your fap sessions.

But the BIGGEST Problem of the game is how your saved clips are managed.
Every time you record a clip, the game litteraly save that clip on your computer, and so far, so good.
The problem is, you'll have, very quickly, dozens of clips to play with and arrange for your movies creations... And all those clips will eat your Space Disk Storage as fast as fat Timmy eating its Xmas candies.

"Well, just delete them you dumbfk?"

Yeah, well, that's the problem. You can't delete any clips you create IN GAME.
You need to Alt+Tab the game, go to the game directory, open the folder where the Game saves those clips, and delete those from here.

If at any point, a game FORCES ME to go out of the game to initiate mendatory action that should be available, the game is a big NO for me.
I don't know why they didn't thought of putting a "delete clip from library" button IN THE GAME.
And all that clunky control is about everywhere.

As of now, as fun as the game can be, I can't recommend it, because the control optimization is one of the worst I have ever seen in any video games.

If the game receive a few QoL, the rating could go up the 3, hell, even 4.
But right now, it's a clunky mess. And that makes me very sad.

EDIT: I Completely forgot about the NTR Aspect of the game. Basically, depending on your choices, you have a degree of "control" around it. It's up to you if you want your girl to have sex with other people, and if you want to create voyeurism situations.
The game can be NTR, NTRS and NTRi depending on how you want to approach it. So you do you.

Just another shallow full 3D game.
This is just another animation player with no depth or story. There's no build up, just click some buttons and play sex animation.
Game is very grindy, so if you can cheat money, just do it. You're not missing anything by cheating. Game insists forcing player to repeat same gameplay that quickly becomes boring.
Animations are mediocre. There's little control over them and most have clipping issues with male genetalia going through female belly etc. hands not being attached properly on bodies, leg clipping with a dress, body halfway inside the bed during animations and video cinematics (like video recorded by devs who all saw that and said "fuck it, it'll work" etc. I never seen a game company leaving such issues on release. It just a lazy job that shows devs didn't care.
There's no story. You just spam animations to level up heroine, you level up, now you see a pop up telling you can go to the park and play gangbang animations on her. For other scenarios there is initial short intro, but that's it.
Game story is just boring, shallow, lazy. It's not worth reading, it's not interesting and just some random blablabla...

So in short, this is not a good game.
If you want story, interesting characters, buildup etc. = you're looking in the wrong place.

If you're looking for nice animation loops = they're mediocre

Gameplay? = Meh, too grindy and nothing special.

Pros:

• Very committed to simulating the AV director sandbox theme, managing contracts for actors, restocking equipment and supplies for shoots, updating recording hardware etc.

Cons:

• Extremely demanding on cpu performance just to perform basic sandbox tasks.
• AV recordings in game actually take up disk space as files on your pc, with no easy way of deleting recordings in game. Not sure what TeamKRAMA was smoking when they thought this was a good idea.
• Actually simulates the realism of being a video editor, with all the tedium and mind numbing boredom involved.
• Very clunky UI despite the entire game being based around managing AVs.

[v1.012] (Before Steam Release)

First off, I don't know what it is with these Unreal engine games. But it's really a hit or miss with their FPS. I've grown so numb to terrible optimization from these types of games, that I don't even know if there's a hidden crypto-miner from the .exe or the game genuinely runs like dog water.
Wait for the steam release and see if the FPS improves

Stuck with 4 heroines. I really wish there was more variety in their 3D models. You're just stuck with 4 ladies in their 20s or early 30s with the same body thickness and maybe a breast cup increase or two. No MILFs or GILFs. Just 4 heroines of the same thickness, same height, just in different angles of the same sex positions. Meh.

What really puzzled me, and I've never seen anything like this before. The core gameplay is editing videos. The videos you edit [IN-GAME] are saved onto your computer??? In a matter of 2-3 finished 20+ second long JAVs, your game folder will be larger than the base files. Here's the kicker. Too much of these 20+ second JAVs in your game folder, and your game will freeze and crash. Took some creative people in this thread to find this out.

If you do run into any progression problems or softlocks. According to the japanese community in the development logs, there are a lot of the same problem. The game has some bugs that lock you from progressing through certain events. Such as, unlocking the pool:
You need to listen to the couple's conversation at the start of the game; otherwise, it's impossible to unlock the pool. Or maybe, you can go to the internet cafe to unlock the pool in the first 5 minutes.

I would highly recommend using a cheat engine for the money. Else you'd be stuck grinding money, clearing your in-game debt, and not focusing on the real gameplay. That is, being the sandbox JAV sim that it advertises as.

As the other commenter said, really unintuitive, and if you don't know how to play, you end up not having enough money for anything by the time things click.

However, 5 star because after figuring it out, I started a new game and wow it's actually great.

A few tips:
-I didn't buy the first smartphone because "I already have one". Don't do this, buying the second one doubles your battery capacity and let's you put in some POV shots (I actually am not sure if POV is available before, I hadn't tried). Focus on jobs the first week to get this, makes AV money come faster.
-Make sure every clip is above 20 seconds otherwise it is not counted.
-Always use every bit of stamina remaining on dates or editing. Never end a day by getting knocked out.
-Buy the camera upgrade asap. If you did things right, you should get it fast.
-You have to make so much more money than the debt, if you're only covering debt, you're fucked.
-Remember where the stamina buffs are (table to the right of Rem, drinks at the internet cafe, drinks at the love hotel...), and get them at every opportunity.

Between my 2 play throughs:
1st try: on day 21, bankrupt with no money and no upgrades; failed the 100k debt by 10k.
2nd try: day 15 with fat stacks (200k weekly sales for the 100k debt). And way better stats on Nodoka (all gifts purchased), a 10k cam & a 50k cam.

With those tips this game is great (up until the point that I have played it).

The game is hard to learn and is pretty unintuitive if you hate learning new things and experimenting this game is not for you but if you like playing a game that features long term progress with great animation and chr development its a superb time

The way the game works is pretty unintuitive. And the fact the important parts are "explained" after the act doesn't help.

You have to film a situation with actors, positions, costumes, lighting, cameras, etc...

During the scene, you can move the camera, change the position and the speed to increase pleasure and reach climax.

Once you are done with your cuts, you enter editing, and that's where the core of the game is.

Editing is a puzzle game. And it's very important that your cuts should be over 20sec otherwise they won't be taken into account.

Each cut of a similar action/pose/climax/whatever will give you a special badge. The more special badges you collect, the better the video will fare on the market and the more money you will make.

Now, let's get into the meat of the game. Is it fun?

Fuck no, it's as boring as 99% of av directors game out there, you just watch some animations with 0 variation and interactivity. The editing is just a chore, and...

FUCKING CHERRY ON TOP THE RECORDING EDITING AND SELLING VIDEOS YOU MAKE ARE STORED ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!


And they are fucking heavy. Two recording sessions, editing, selling and you're already twice the size of the game, fuck no.

Decent AV Director simulator

Pros:
- Good graphics
- Voiced
- Nice sandbox elements

Cons:
- You play as AV Director and have to do the montage
- Characters are boring

It's really nice 3D sandbox game but the role of porn maker might not be suitable for everyone.
