Working together with Suki Kebab Studios, Chaxias Games released a new game - Bad Uncle. Have you ever fantasized about being that old, dirty uncle who eats his food while going commando until your nieces come into the room? If so, this might just be your game.
STORY
Ah, the story of the dirty uncle. One of the most used tropes and here, you’re a dirty asian uncle preying on overweight asian women. There isn’t much story, but uncle Chan has the idea that the girls around him are looking at him for his huge dick - that’s why he hangs it out for show all the time. If the girls comment on it, he fucks them. And for some reason, they eventually like it. It’s flimsy, too thin and lacks the weight of other games by Chaxias.
This being a sex game that centres around overweight asian women, it has big potential to be for an uncatered niche. But storywise, it needs a lot more punch to make an impact. At this point, you might as well stick to the sexual scenes without a story.
PRESENTATION
The models are very overweight and often presented in dark lighting, which doesn’t show them off in the best light. Bad Uncle plays like a story book when you just pick and click a girl - whether it’s Jiao or Linh - and uncle proceeds to fuck her after demanding it. Uncle Chan doesn’t look too good himself and the whole style just gives off a rush job, sadly.
Animations during the single solo sex scenes are present, so that’s definitely a bonus. Although some of the poses and the placement of body parts can be weird. It’s nothing to obsess over, but it could take you out of the fantasy if you’re picky. The UI looks simple and perhaps even a bit dated, in combination with the graphics. A big part of that is the way the developer handles the lighting this time around, leaving women unhighlighted or unflatteringly lighted. Some of the poses Uncle has the women in are downright demeaning, like Uncle Chen fucking Jiao with his sandaled foot on her shoulder.
GAMEPLAY
It’s a kinetic VN with a flimsy story and a few sex stances per girl. Afterward, you can revisit the different stances for a girl. That’s the game, text and these sex stances.
OVERALL
Bad Uncle lacks the story, the humor, the unique characters and angle Chaxias games usually have. Seeing as how there is still content to come for this game, I figure there will be one more niece to play around with. Honestly, Chaxias is better off working on a new IP or a remaster in which this game carries more of his signature charm. It barely passes for the short time it gives you joy.
