With game version 2.9, Bad Hero switched to the currently latest stable version of Ren'Py, which is the same JoyPlay uses. This is a long way to say: You can use the normal mod. Or, the JoyPlay version is not needed anymore.
Edit: Added a short info to the DL folders, to tell people to use the normal version.
Did you use the correct version of the mod?
If you play Part 1, you will need to download the mod from the subfolder "

The mod needs to be installed with the mod folder, not just the content of the mod folder.
It must be e.g. "C:/Bad Hero/game/mods/RiamMar...".
Delete the RiamMar-Folder and add copy the mods folder to the game folder, and try again, if that's the case.
For Part 1, does it say in the Main Menu, that the mod is installed and the WT activated?
If you see my mod info, but it says "WT Mod deactivated" (or similar), you will need to activate the WT through the mod menu.
That's basically all I can think of right now, what might be wrong.
The mod is set "On Hold" for reasons I have written a short note about here.
TLDR for other Modders: Please feel free to take over any mod I offered and have set "On Hold".

The last few updates it would probably be easier to uninstall the mod or so. Or I make a separate textbox mod. There's usually only one choice and that is "Show scene"/"Don't show scene".
