Ban hyper realistic AI games / Art.

Unrealistic AI is fine. This is a piracy site so most morality based arguments around it are kinda hypocritical.

That said hyper "realistic" AI is just a shit show waiting to happen.

All it takes is someone using a person's likeness without their consent to start another "No Mercy" level shit show. Or even worse if said persons likeness isn't exactly "legal". Not to mention the genuine moral issues with doing that shit in the first place. I don't imagine the mods/admins want to deal with or have the time to check that shit. Games and content like that are going to exist no matter what, but that doesn't mean you have to platform it. Keeping it would be more of a headache for the mods/admins than just banning it outright.

"But games using real porn are allowed already, how is this different" The real porn games on here all use images of Pornstars. Who already do sex work and have easy to verify ages.

Current state of things with adult entertainment isn't great and the last thing this scene needs is more controversy.

Has the "No Mercy" shit show affected this site in any way? Creators will have to do deal with Steam and Patreon if they make games that cause controversy and bad publicity, but as far as this site goes as long as the existing rules are followed there's no reason to ban them.

I kind of get what you're saying, and I don't completely disagree.

However, it's not up to F95Zone to moderate the global nsfw scene. Put simply, they don't (and shouldn't) care, as long as the game doesn't break the platform's rules.

AI isn't magic, "Real Porn" doesn't always mean that all the content is from professional porn videos. Deepfakes have always existed, and so did edits or amateur content. That's why rules to prevent bad content predates AI, and as Count Morado already posted, they doubled it with specifying that AI content featuring teens is not allowed.

Yes, because that AI art thread isn't full of AI teen girls. Thankfully, the law about AI deepfakes will be implemented next year.

Just because pornstars are doing porn it doesn't mean that people should use them for whatever shit people do. Just like famous stars. Also, AI games with teens are on the site just like games with loli content(and some shota) and I'm sick of people pretending that they aren't. You gotta love Devs she's 18+, trust me bro. Hyper realistic AI is forbidden on Patreon.

Then report the games for review. The times I've seen AI that breaks the rule, I've reported it and it's been removed.

Technically, every AI-generated art lives under a perpetual gray zone since you can't know exactly what the gens were trained with, even if it's on only ~0.0001% of an AI-image, it breaks the law. The chances of ** not sneaking into their database are slim to none.

People have been caught for much less, like writing porn fiction and including minors.

While I agree it should be taken away and banned and the people who are in it can't consent to anything people are doing, it'll be up to the mods and other people to determine what realistic happens to look like ultimately.

Ive seen some things here that I would definitely say cross the line though.

I also just want to say it's not always about underage content either. Just because the AI was made with and only generates people over 18, I'm just concerned that it looks like real people. Eventually it feels like stuff like that will land people in trouble or hurt someone who has no idea about it.

You can only generate so many hyper realistic fake people before you land on one that is basically some real person.

Agreed, bit of nuance to it of course but yeah these are exciting times coming up with the advancement of AI etc.
