Band Practice is an adult visual novel that dives deep into its story and characters. Step into the shoes of James (Changeable), a college freshman who’s earned a scholarship and has a natural talent for the guitar. Balancing school, love, and his passion for music won’t be easy, but it’s all part of his, and your journey.

Shortly after arriving on campus, James finds himself joining a band. But every band comes with its fair share of drama. Sharing dreams of success with others means experiencing the highs and lows together, which can bring both joy and tension.

Throughout his journey, Jameswill cross paths with a variety of LI's, some looking for an exciting passion, others seeking something deeper. Every choice you make will have consequences, shaping James' relationships and the path he takes.

Experience life as a college freshman surrounded by opportunities, challenges, and meaningful connections. Chase your dream of becoming a rockstar, navigate the complexities of romance, and, above all, don’t be late to the Band Practice.

As a 3D Artist, I try to pose my scenes carefully. And since Band Practice is an AVN, I want to create unique LEWD scenes with in-depth LI's. I think this is the most important part for me. I'm not a great animator but I'm trying my best. Strongest suit of the game is, I believe, the story-rich characters and an interesting premise. As an ex-professional musician, I know a lot about the themes I want to implement in the game.

Episode 1 will be a great opening for the world I'm trying to create. I'll introduce LI's that we will be interacting with them throughout the story, but don't worry, some great lewd scenes will be in the episode too!

There will be choice based story changing events I have in my mind but in Episode 1, there won't be any major choices.

My planned release date is early April, but we will see about that. I'll update you about the development in this thread.

Currently working on posing and creating environments in the meantime. I still have some scenes to create, but after that, It comes to the rendering and building the game on Ren'Py. I have already rendered a great portion of the game. I animated 2 lewd scenes during that process. Animation renders are going great so far since this was the part I'm most scared of as I'm not experienced in that area. We will see, I'm trying to improve. Also I'm writing a choice-based chapter to enhance the gameplay, probably choosing between two LI's. We will see about that.

Hello everyone.

Past week I continued on posing the Renders and now, I have total of 82 arts rendered this week. Normally, I would probably be way ahead but I had to redo the dorm room scenes because I didn't liked the final wall color in the end and decided to change it and redo all the poses.
I'll share some LI Arts this week.

Hello everyone,

I have been working on posing for the last few days. This week, I started embedding the game into Ren'Py and things are looking great now! I want to create little free-roam envoirments for immersion and I'm almost done with it.
Other than development part, I'm still in development mode and my computer is always rendering If I'm not posing in Daz.

I've been working constantly for the past week. I think I have 4-5 scenes to make. I'm talking about the art part. I stopped embedding the game to Ren'Py after a certain point to focus more on renders and some UI/UX designs. I come up with couple of UI designs and will choose one of them at the final stages of development.

Also, Episode 1 will be named as "A Change Of Seasons".

My dream is to make this game highly influenced with choices, since this is Episode 1, most of the scenes are here to build up to story but I will be adding a choice based scene to the game. I'll try to make branching a key-point of the game in the later episodes.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you a weekly update on what I was doing. I was working on one lewd scene and I took my time into it. I didn't wanted to rush it so that's where I'm putting my work. There will be 2 animations with different angles and static renders with teasing and pure lewd interactions.
I don't want to share any screenshots of this scene to not give any spoilers.

I was working on the animations and LEWD scene posing for the past weeks. There wasn't much progression since all my resources did rendering. In the meantime, I designed some free-roam activities to spice up the gameplay. They are not a big deal, but they are simple ones to improve the immersion. Currently, I have 3 more scenes to make. One of them is really a short scene, and I had to redo one scene because I want to change the character design.

I think I'm over 400+ renders at this point if I'm not mistaken. This episode will probably consist of 500-600 renders and 6 animations. The animation count is low, I know, but with the later episodes, lewd scenes will increase, which equals to animations increasing. Episode 1 is like an introduction to Band Practice, but that doesn't mean it's a short episode. Lots of characters will be introduced, and main and side stories will begin.

I want to finish the game before this month ends. I can't give you an exact release date yet because I don't want to fail to deliver at that time, but I can assure you at worst, Band Practice will be released in early May.
