Ren'Py - Completed - BangCity [v1.02] [BangCityDev]

Found the 0.5 version on my disk and tried it. Wow ... this is a shitshow. I stopped even before any "sandbox" elements showed up. The first choice you get, doesnt change anything (grope or fuck Linda) - worst start ever.

Than there is the whole "story" ... this feels more like something out of the mind of a child/teen, that dont understand how life works. The final goal is to fuck all the mean used bitches? I mean - we could have fucked the head bitch right away. Mission accomplished.

Then the MC doesnt even have a real plan. Humiliate the gang and leave the criminal live ... ?? Oh and then he rents a trailer (and thats a camper ... not a trailer) and rents the basement of that woman - already forgot what she were - his granny or some social worker. nvm. He pays her 250$/month for a basement? Why? ... I bet to add some kind of moneysink think to the upcoming "sandbox"? So he pays 400$/month for 2 "bases of operation" instead of using that money to get himself a decent small flat? sure.

Sorry, all that hits me so hard I cant get immersed into the game and that is needed to have fun.

I really liked this game, it has a new type of story with a little bit of cliché which i don't mind honestly. Renders are good and the sex scenes are great. if i had to change something about this game is the bad grammars and spellings as well as i would like to have the choice for having the MC acting nice sometimes instead of having him full asshole mode for the whole game.

I really enjoyed the overarching plot and twists in this game, as it encompasses all the classic elements of a good story. Although the standalone routes weren’t by any means remarkable, they were great at building suspense and a sense of urgency to figure out the pieces of the puzzle in order to solve the mystery. The universe of this games grows increasingly more complex and interesting the further you delve into the storyline. This demonstrates solid world-building and good storyline pacing by the writers.

Sure, the writing might be not top notch, but it doesn't feel ridiculous to me and fits the theme of revenge hence the male domination here. While he degrades the gang ladies he can chose to not do that to the "landlady" but well... still take advantage of her in a cunning way. good enough.

Gameplay might be repetitive but not in a way a grindfest. You might have to do the same interaction everyday but it always progress deeper into the story each day. I have no problem with that.

Why I only gave 4/5 stars is because if you are not following the steps in the walkthrough, you'll likely run into problems that might break the game. I hope the dev can find a solution to this. That said, I played this game till the end of 0.6 version successfully and only run into 1 bug for the whole playthrough, just pay attention to what's happening in the screen and what the character say and you'll be fine.

Renders are average, animations are few and far between. And short. My big issue with this game is the writing. First, it's not even Engrish. After 10 minutes of playing I couldnt stop myself from reading the dialogue in a Russian accent in my head.

Second, the dialogue was soooo unbelievable:

MC (to Step mom): You're gonna give me a hand job
SM: But I'm your step om!
MC: No, you're just a drunk!
SM: Are you kidding?
MC: No, as a matter of fact, your going to blow me!
SM: I am NOT! I'm not that kinda girl!
MC: Yes you are!
SM: No way in HELL!
MC: Yes you are, because you are a money-grubbing whore!
SM: OK.

Now this is my take on it, but it's not too far from EVERY INTERACTION the MC has with almost EVERY female. In a Russian accent.

Sorry, between the "Russion-grish" and the poor dialogue I just have to hit DELETE.

Well i would give 2 stars only if i was not a big fan of crime life games . The renders are not bad some girls are hot like the mother and gina . The general story is ok it could be done way better with some changes to the plot ,tho my biggest problem whith this game is the mc who is a complete retarded dweeb . This is the worst personality an mc can have he dont know what he is talking about , think of something and back off of it 3 seconds later. cant choose a clear path where he leave the crime life and have a honest one with his mom since he want revenge and keep talking about it non stop but at the same time he dont want to be a gangster or make any hard decision, just a coward with a big mouth . Oh his biggest dream is to fuck some used bitches when he can take over the whole fucking city!

Love almost all of the stuff that is playable. Only major negative is the current length.

Only thing that I want is more content and more forcing/blackmail etc. kind of stuff.
Now the jump from "I will not suck" to "do what you want" is bit too rushed on gang ladies part.

I really like this game. Yeah, it's a bit trashy, but I can have fun with a game like that.

The "landlady" looks really good and yes the reasoning behind the incest content is the usual silly BS (again, I can work with that ), it's still fun.

Since the optional "less cursing" variant it doesn't feel quite as inane anymore and for a quasi-sandbox game the plot progresses nicely with enough variations not to be bored out of your mind.

OK Here is my take on 0.03.

The game writing is quite childish and sounds like schoolyard banter half the time. It's REALLY a turnoff. It's a shame because the renders are good and the story is not half bad. But constantly you hear BITCHES and ima FUK them all... IDK maybe it's me? The girls are alright but again it's schoolyard banter constantly. Then in 0.03 you had to start over due to var changes by the dev. IMO this is the most infuriating thing a dev could do. Give a save OR let us skip to the new content. Again this is just BAD planning. If the writing was better I'd start over but to me it's not worth the time and for the time being I'm just going to delete and forget. Sorry but not sorry. There are PLENTY of games here I have started over it's annoying but I will and then there are those I won't.

I wish I could give this 4 and half stars, because it's good with room for improvement. I love the slightly sadistic mentality of the main character and his dynamic with the stepmom. The motivation for corrupting the gang wives is good. The game could use a slightly better path to corrupting mother though. Feels like you're going to get there too easy. No need to rush that with the game offering easy paths to sex with other characters. The females in the gang could use more individualized personalities and corruption paths. The game overall could use more choices for variety. There seems to be new characters on the horizon. Hopefully they are given a proper motivation for corruption. Overall, I like the game. It's at the very least more original than much of what gets made these days.

A bit confused on the reviews I have read its not long or good if i am being honest at all Story Your a gang member that constantly says he is not a gang member all the males in your gang have been thrown in jail so you start to try and bang all of their girls or bitches that they left behind thats basically it for now Game play is you wait till certain point in the day to initiate certain convos with characters which results in a couple sexual scenes every Character are bland whores and none of them have a personality in the slightest to talk about because they all seem the same

Conclusion:
Love sells would also be a good name for this game.
This game has a good mix of crime,love and sex,also it is easy to play and no useless running around for nothing,also has alot of good scenes here that keeps the game from becoming boring.
Also what I think is a revolution is the walk-through in the game that lets you know what you have to do.

I duno about this one. Male dom incest is one of my favorite kinks but the tone in this game is too light and comical.

You have the gang wives, who are all insufferable bitches. Dominating them is to be expected and justified. The mother/landlady abandoned him and ran away by herself when he was a child. There is some justification on her part, but it doesn't feel like its enough to me to let her off the hook. The MC seems kind of fine with her and doesn't hold a grudge. I feel like there should be a choice here on how the MC views the mother. Forgive leading to romance and holding the grudge leading to turning her into a bitch like the other gang wives.

Well its only the second update, so maybe the dev has plans for her later. Like revealing some backstory that has her involved in some shady shit. Or maybe she is just a generally good person and you don't dominate her. Maybe she is good and gets dominated anyways. She does have the same stats on the UI as the other girls (# of times fucked, # of porn shoots, etc). I guess I made a big deal out of it cus incest male dom is so rare and I was excited to see if this game had that.

Moving on... the dev probably isn't a native speaker. This has engrish. Its not horribly stilted, but its enough to make the dialogue pretty unnatural. The dialogue is definitely not the strong suit here. Kind of unfortunate because BDSM kind of relies heavily on dialogue during scenes.

So the "sandbox" aspect is a bit annoying so far for v0.02. There is only one thing you can do in any given time of the day, so all it does is make you click a bunch stuff. At least the daily routine is so fixed that you won't waste any time checking here and there after experimenting the first couple days.

Very average game. I think the main issue is the tone. It would have been nice if it was a bit darker. The process of making the wives your bitches is kind of rushed. Not enough backstory and set up for it to be satisfying too.

Just a heads up for the people who needs the girls to be pure virgins. "My mother who isn't romantically/sexually invovled with me is sleeping with other people. She is a whore!" If you are that kind of person, this game probably isn't for you.

The story is tip-top! dialogue is short and clean easy to read. The model is hot, the story makes me want more. Not grindy, intresting story and hot chick what do you want more this is the gangster games im looking for a long time

For a .01 this has a lot of content. Characters are developed well, and seem to have lots of room for growth. Renders are clean, and I haven't encountered any bugs or set backs yet. Still working on finishing it though. Good job and hopefully this will turn into something great
