VN - Ren'Py - Onhold - Banking on Bella [v0.08a] [Profile Game Studios]

I do like the story with all the crazyness in the firm and it has some funny dialogs every so often which is nice..dont really get why theres so much talk about the twins though, one is already in a relationship yet Rob keeps wanting to see the twins and MC finds them hot as well for unknown reasons, its just talk sinces theres not really much content with any of them.

BUT im getting annoyed to see all the hot girls in the game being none LIs, i mean come on why have all the hots ones as background shit, like coffee shop servant or other coffee shop worker, girls at the dinner with the priest, girl at the swimsuit shop.... i mean come wtf....it lost a star on that since it really pissed me off, even more so since every freaking girl you meet that is a LI is a bimbo and im just not into big tit fetish...so to show off all the hot smols only as background girls is soooo idiotic.

Granted there might be two smols in the game but one is in a relationship and the other is the sister, maybe theres the red head cleaner girls sister as well but then your forced to be with the red head bimbo, but none of them has any adult content yet.

Atleast i loved the MC, atleast at most times, he dosent act like the normal cringy ones with a mindset of a 12 year old, you dont think sexy thoughts about anyone unless you show interrest in the girl, i man sooooo many fucking devs could learn from this, thats how its supposed to be, granted its not 100% perfect in this game but its a good start.

The promoting system seems to be pointless, i got to level 3 and MC never got promoted, that part seems to be purely based on story not points or it has simply been forgotten by devs or maybe game is just progressing way to slow with the workplace area, in any case it seems a bit off and weird.

Same goes for the good/bad point system, i dident really see many optons to use any of them, used one to invite sister and saw one option to change someones mind about dating MC but i just dident care enough about the girl to change her mind.

As for the girls they look ok, but diversity in builds arent great, its mostly bimbo builds, with a few smols that has 0 content.

Animations are pretty decent but a bit short.

Choices are great up to now, you can deside who to go after or not, MC is starting to feel a bit to submissive due to lack of choices later on, like risking hes job just due to walking in on a fully dressed girl in a bathroom with no lock....i found that to idiotic, MC also starts thinking about fucking hes bitch boss Jennie or whats her name and about how hot it would be, makes 0 sense story wise and ignores ealiere chooices which isent a good thing.

Music is standard background stuff nothing special.

As game is right now and condiering its 4½ years old it really dosent have much content, maybe the issue is to many LIs so alot of them just dont get any kind of screen time, game has potential but it needs to pick up speed fast, like MCs sister and her friend hasent even been on a visit yet only a single phone call with her, its just way to much of a slow burn for 4+ years in development.

Super solid stuff. The writing is solid, the art is good, and it even has a neat little resource system to add a little spice to the typical formula. One massive dub is, despite having an enormous cast, the game allows you to choose who you invest time in so if you're not clicking with a character or want to focus on a few, you can. The downside is because the dev spends so much time fleshing out content you might not choose to pursue, the total amount of content in the game is a bit lacking. I think if the game can keep up this quality, it has the potential to be an easy 5-star title. With the current level of content though, I'm happy to give it 4. There's just enough here to wet your whistle and figure out if you vibe with it or not. Hopefully, in a year or two we'll get to the good stuff.

First time I've check this out in like 3 years and it's barely gotten any more content. The whole thing is very dated, and there's barely any interesting content. So far it's mostly a lot of buildup that doesn't actually really go anywhere. I don't even know where half the preview pics came from, cause I didn't see them. Playing it just feels like a massive waste of time. This will be the last time I download it, that's for sure. I doubt this will ever get finished at this rate.

Nah not for me. Renders are poor at start in quality. Also girls facial expressions are weird at start. Only played around for 20 - 25mins and fed up. I don't liked the mechanism if you want to get certain events date or corruption you have to spend some points. I like it happening because of the choices we made not like this. Maybe I will try this one again later and review it if I liked it.

This one gets the award for most mind numbingly dumb game of the decade.

Story 1/10 This is pretty much all darkside consequences on pretty much every choice you make through the whole thing. The business is one sided, all dark anything you do in it ( so far ), you end up getting the crap end of the stick. In bed with a couple of the ugliest hags and in bed with the mafia or lose your job. What is the sense of this story anyways, A bank overloaded with politics, backstabbing, and the some of the worst beliefs that humanity has. How is that interesting in any way.

Originality 1/10 The only thing original about this story/game is that they managed to make one so caustic and full of so many dark stereotypes. It is the only thing original.

Renders 2/10 Very dated renders by today's standards.

Animations 1/10 What adult sexual content that is in this story/game sums up to the usual 3 second sex, uninteresting 3 second sex at that.
It is by no means a surprise that it contains this since so many devs barely try at all to have any actual semi realistic sex in most of these story/games.

Content 1/10 For the amount of time this has been out there is not a lot of content, four years almost and this is what you get. For some reason this has become the norm for so many devs to put out little content over a long period of time and think they have achieved something good.

Grammar 3/10 although not horrible, should have been gone over for mistakes before being put out.

This game is just a lesson in dark parody, a so called management game that only succeeds at being uninteresting and full of hate, corruption, seediness and vile.
I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone, there is nothing in it that makes a good story.

The renders are fine, the fetishes are plenty, the points and money management mechanics seem entirely inconsequential, the volleyball mini-game was annoying and if you wanted to skip it you automatically lost, etc... whatever, none of that really matters.

I give this game 1 star for a very simple reason: this whole game is basically a never ending train of bullshit interactions with a bunch of unlikable characters while listening to the idiotic inner monologue of another unlikable character.

It was torture to go through and absolutely not worth the effort.

The game suffers from excessive money-management mechanics, forcing budgeting for love interests without clear costs. Various point systems like charm and reputation add complexity without strategic planning. The lack of awareness about consequences makes it a confusing experience, resembling a visual novel more than a strategic sandbox. Removing management aspects, adding likable characters, enhancing aesthetics, and providing more dialogue choices could improve the overall experience. Currently, other business-setting games outshine this one.

Alright, I'm giving this a rating of 4 out of 5. Considered 3/5, however, not to say the game is inadequate.

The diverse amount of fetishes/kinks along with the different routes is appealing to me. I can't stand alongside people who say the renders are bad. The game and story itself is intriguing enough, the renders help the storytelling, not the other way around. That's a big plus for me.

I found myself saving a lot and replaying the game to explore different choices. Also a big plus. It means I got hooked.

Some gameplay mechanics are vague, need rework, like the charm/dark charm which works as it is but would appreciate further depth. I found the cellphone useless and didn't know I could ever click on it. (Did I miss something?)

As someone else pointed out, the fantasy shower scenes are skippable which is good once you've seen all the scenes but since they don't go away, you get the impression that you have more to explore, yet you just get the option to replay the same scene. This is vague and needs explanation. Odd how the MC needs to "rub one out" each and every night the same way. Especially if you just completed a good scene.

4/5 cause it's actually great and to give the game more attention. Would rate higher after some polishing and optimization.

This is the first game I have ever given less than a five star review to. I am very confused by the mixed ratings in the game. I will discuss my experience: I was very pleased that the game ended suddenly for me with the loss of all my money due to unavoidable daily expenses as it was very unpleasant to play. The vast majority of the sexual content of the game centers around the MC daily masturbation scene in the shower. Most of the gameplay involves choosing which of a standard set of fantasies that the MC uses to accompany his daily shower masturbation. Fortunately, in every MC daily shower masturbation scene the actual fantasy is skippable. I know sexual fantasies are a common trope in porn games but I don't find them appealing enough to center a game around. The remaining sexual content in the game is mostly involving MC choices involves deciding how long the MC looks at the fully clothed characters the MC encounters. I did manage to have one actual sexual encounter as the MC right before I ran out of money for a bad ending.
The game does have ALOT of text. It is written in what I call anime style, that is alot of short choppy text remarkable for their inanity. It takes about 100 lines of text and clicks to reach one coherent thought. this game ask you to follow the changing terms of a complex commercial realestate transaction through thousands of lines of text. there is actually more discussion of the hypothetical commercial transaction by the characters in the game than would probably be done irl. I ran out of money ending the game before my MC recieved his first paycheck so I ended up working for the bank for free.
As MC I was sexually propositioned by some of my coworkers but I did not have a choice to accept their advances and instead the MC ran away without saying anything and returned to daily shower masturbation routine.
I did want to give the game one star (represented as two, one above the minimum) as an absurdist experience. perhaps the games is intentionally designed as a pointless waste of time, a reflection of our daily routine.

+ your choices have a big impact on your way through game and with many options every playthrough can be unique

+- limited money but not really restrictive and if needed can be bypassed with standart Ren'Py cheats (like URM or save editors)

+- minigames which can be skipped, although the result of skipping is random, but you can save before to get the result you want without playing them (this could be improved to pick outcome or let it be random)

Gameplay, story and models are not overly terrible. Some of the models does look like a scuffed foll where you glue the individual parts on like hair and put a mouth on like mister potato.

The real reason for low rating is the animations though. Not the worst i've seen but...If you want a game and animation that looks like it was done in 2003 this is the game for you.

[v0.08] This game has a great cast of characters. There are a variety of different body types and personalities and they are almost all pretty likeable. Almost, because some of the characters are written as complete doms and try to enslave you (not good looking either). So far there are choices to turn the tables on these characters, but little has been developed so far to actually show this is the case.

The game isn't grindy or open world. You are given choices and choose which scenes to engage in and continue forward. Player choice is great, but it's also this games biggest weakness. So far there is a large cast of likable characters, but only a handful can be pursued at any one time. For example, one character has all their content blocked unless you choose not to pursue a romance with another character. This happens several times. Combine this with the 'light' points and 'dark' points system, where the MC will either respect or basically rape a woman depending on past choices made, and there is a LOT of content that you will not see in a single playthrough.

It's a great shame this game is designed in a way that forces the player to play multiple times or skip entire characters. The quality of everything is excellent and it is well written, but I personally find its harem-blocking and content hiding very annoying.

Ok, I actually wanted to write a review after playing the next update, probably after replaying the game as well, but after reading the newest and, in my opinion, utterly undeserved review, I decided to do it now.

First things first: this game is a really underrated gem. I was hanging out on f95 for a while, and played a lot of games, but I somehow managed to miss this one so far. After I have seen it being mentioned in “Friends in Need” thread I finally decided to give it a try, and boy was I glad I did.
For once, your decisions actually matter, which sets this game apart from like 80 to 90 % of other games here.
The women do have personalities and believable characters, and romantic and dark paths feel very differently.
The story is interesting and the climbing corporate ladder by paying attention to details and maneuvering office politics feels rewarding.

The writing is believable, differs depending on route and definitely one of the strengths of the game.

I really like this and actually will support it after the next update is released.
It is a 5 of 5 for me.

This is the most repulsive game i ve ever played as in Adult VN.
-It is overly political, whatever you choose you will always end up in the far side of both political spectrums. Worst part is, its all about Californian American politics.
-Everybody is a piece of shit. There is 3 decent people at best. And they will keep getting fucked by the system or you will, if you try to help them.
-There is no winning in this game, it is designed in a way you will always end up in despair. Winning mini-games is literally a punishment.
-There is supposedly two paths being, dark or romance paths. Both play out awfully similar, you have very little impact on the story.there is 5 different variables to make sure you get fucked and forced to break law. And you will be put to a path to either fucked by the state or fucked by the criminals. You are shafted no matter what you do.
-Optimisation of this game is absolute hell. It runs like ass. And it is shocking because visuals are very dated and dont even get me started on Fran or Janice, they are fucking disgusting both visually and personality wise.
-Whatever you choose this game will find a way to insult you. There will be only 2 choices to make, and either of them will put you in a difficult position, just to make you suffer, call you pussy etc. Or call you racist,sexist,homophobe. This is not a VN this is basically twitter.
-There is too many LIs to choose/follow path from. Half of them will say they have a boyfriend they cant let you start anything. And if you plan to, game will insult you and girl will say "what do you think this is a VN where you make the girl break up with her BF then take his place" rince and repeat.
Rest of them will be so fucking repugnant you wont even want to start anything with them anyways.
-It also doesnt help this is a sandbox, most of the girl's path will clash eventually, so you gotta make cuts. And if you ever dare to go back to play a different approach from start. Well more power to you man, because it is rough.

Overall i hate pretty much everything in this game. It is hard to enjoy when your only choices are ;
A-) hate every single man in the entire universe
B-) all women are evil, you should not talk to women.

Low end of 2/5 rolling it to 1/5. Would not recommend.

Very interesting game. All the girls are great and have their own personality.
You need to be carefull with the money(lost one time because of that) and you have many paths to choose and you can choose to spend hearts or dark hearts in certain situations.
There is parts of the game that you need to remember what your character said to then choose correctly when you talk to your bosses to increase the level up a Blue Bar(forgot the name of it).
A game that you should play and follow for the content that comes in the future.

an unexpected Gem tbh. didnt expect to enjoy this as much as i did, but here we are.

the writing is done so fkn well, the story is engaging, the characters unique from eachother, with their own lives, stories, and personalities. and THANK FUCK not every damn character looks like a victorias secret model, and I LOVE THAT.. as usually in games, everyone looks perfect, slim line.. i want some imperfect women i can smash and have relations with, crooked teeth, skin issues, weight issues etc.. i wanna explore a diverse range of partners, and from the early build so far, theres a few that fits that. i just hope the team continues to explore options with them, and to add more normal looking folk too, as well as pretty ones. not a "shes over weight, but has no rolls etc." as some devs add "over weight" characters, but they still be smooth looking, and it doesnt fit right. however this games done it well so far!

fun and engaging, came for the faps, stayed for the story. was sad when i reached the end of the build!


will say animations are very inconsistent, some static rubbish robot like anims, some better quality, but the loop is really rough, which takes you out of the immersion of its scene and world. and then others are the midway between them both.

would love to explore a more diverse range of partners, from trans, women etc too, ranging in being youthful to old and pretty, to old and ugly, to young and ugly too.. mix it up.. give us options..

i'd also like to see more moral choices in there, as we saw at the very start with the college chick.. we got to either chilled with her and didnt pressure her, or pressured her and got lucky, but then either pushed it and went non con, or went full consen.. after that, there really wasnt any more depth nor exploration to that freedom of choice on how we want to play this character, and how the consequences MAY hit us without feeling forced or ingenuine, whilst maintaining that feeling of "realism", to keep you further immersed in its story. like are you a nice dude? cool. are you a mix? cool. are you down right an evil person that non cons and takes advantage? cool. what levels do you go to, in order to not have your dirty laundry air to the public? how do you handle that? slavery, murder, black mail, admitting guilt, buying out? what? theres so much more that could be done with the vast amount of play styles that promotes that freedom, and as close to a sandbox feel we can get in a clicking VN..

overall a really good game, and i thouroughly enjoyed it. ive never been a big fan of the bog standard renpy models, and yeah these are it, with very little enhancements to their models bodies.. so the anus, etc and animations are a lil off and generic. however, apart from a few NPCS in the story, most of em are unique looking, which separates them from the other VNs in this engine. however, i would suggest maybe doing more work on enhancing the models bodies, making them look more realistic, rather than using the low quality default models. so much could be done there. as NGL, i saw the crisp looking samples on this page, but the same level of detail isnt in the actual game.. atleast with how detailed the models look in the samples, wasnt present..


overall good game that needs some additional QOL additions, fixes, tweaks, and improvements to overall animations and models. some more variety in characters, a more impactful morale system that allows the player to choose how they wanna play this MC, with a consequence system to match.. without it feeling forced, or unrealistic.. giving the player multiple ways to deal with any scene, and also consequence how they see fit.

also, ADD A BOOTY CALL OPTION. so we can call over past sexual partners that are up for it and have them for repeated scenes, but dont just replay the same dialogue, make it reflect that its happened more than once.. or/add where we can trick folks to come to the apartment, and them manipulate, or force into that stuff, if you choose to go down the darker path. rather than the prescripted scenes, and never being able to explore them again

fun game, give it a try.. sad to see its still early in development, as i wanted to keep playing. but this is one to look out for! go support the dev!

A sign of a good game is when you have played hundreds of games from this site, but instantly remember it when it pops up on new releases.

An original setting, and the story and characters have a lot of charm. I wish more games were like this!

As a whole I think this is a pretty decent game. The models are hot and somewhat unique, the humor is up my alley. Fetishes wise the game is also nice and arousing. I really can't find much to complain about, cant wait to follow the future updates!

Gave this game a shot because I was told it had some potentially darker paths you can take as the MC, and that's always fun. However, I didn't like this VN, sadly.

First off, it runs like absolute trash on my laptop for some reason. Which makes no sense, considering I can play games with much higher quality renders with no issue.

The writing is pretty unremarkable, and there are a lot of instances of odd phrasing and jarring typos.

The sex scenes are fine, but nothing noteworthy.

And the characters are also pretty forgettable.

Also wasn't a fan of the clunky, dated looking UI.

I will give this game credit for having darker themed content and a lot of freedom of choice, but overall, I'm sorry Dev, I just couldn't get into this one.
