You can only purchase it from the shop on the train. However do not bother yourself to grind before you take the train after the arena chapter, you can board the train again for free at any time.

After defeating the primordial dragon, that's it, that is the end of the game.

Not really, the quest to beat the white dragon is just part of the post-game. The only ending scene you'll get will be the 'bad end', which isn't canon in the lore of Sikorsky's games. Especially from what Sikorsky's next upcoming game will be about since it's

it doesn't but you can change the difficult mode to casual (by press ESC and go to settings) if you feel the default mode is hard for you
