Unity - Battle for Luvia: Armored Romance [v0.27b] [Seventh Vixen]

This is probably the most immersive adult game I’ve ever role-played in — never have I gone this deep before.
Playing as a medieval knight entangled in politics and being able to engage in adult relationships with medieval women feels like a dream come true. Usually, you only get one or the other, not both.


Normally I’m not a fan of point-and-click games, but here it actually works — without it, remembering every location and character would’ve been a nightmare.


The only thing I genuinely dislike (and hope the devs might tweak a bit) is the breast size. Many female characters have proportions that feel overly exaggerated — maybe tone it down a little in future updates.

Exciting concept bad realization.

This game has interesting plot, good dialogues and interesting quests. Looks like author knows a lot about middle ages.
Maybe it's engine problem like some of critics here noted or other reasons but its very rough in every aspects.

First it's a graphic or visual. It's not delightful, has strange color filter i think to hide obsolete, animation is very simple but overall you get used to it especially if you like old games like witcher 1-2 or gothic. Characters have exclusive models but with caricature big breasts and bums.

UI. It's not intuitive, has many unnecessary tabs and sometimes just closed tab opens everytime you change screen or location. Only reload helps with this bug.
There is a special tab for reputation of every character but they are not clickable for additional info about them. For it you should follow to inventory's special tab.
At first sight you think it's a free roam game cause it has a huge map, different towns on it with different choices of entering but for now it's only linear playthrough with limited choices. Some of them you won't like i assure you. For the example you lost half of your army cause you make fun of some spoiled brat even if you have good relationship with his parents and other lords.

When you enter in your second town after unsuccessful trip to the first you'll get WorkingInProgress status while there are a lot of content in other locations. After playing awhile you understand that this town is the last in the end but at the start of the game it can confuse a lot.

Save system is also badly executed. Spaces for saves between important choices can be very long. So if you didn't forget to save before main event it can take a few dozen seconds to skip cutscenes but if you forgot be ready to skip for few minutes. And numbers of possible saves are limited.

It contains simple fighting system mechanic but applied only twice. It's very rough with bad impact and input lag.

I'm sure there are a lot of other disadvantages that i can't remember but it's only 0.27 version and i like this game even in this state. If it took 6 years we should wait a lot for completed version. Hope author will pull himself together and will finish this interesting game in my favorite medieval setting as soon as possible.

It's easily one of the best games on this page. It only has 2 major problems:
-The first is its engine, I don't know why some developers on this forum insist on Unity, the game feels very rough
-The second is the sex scenes. It urgently needs a reworking of all the scenes, they are inconsistent and very archaic
Far from that, as I said before it's one of the best games on this page, its character design is really good and it's very entertaining to play. But since it's a sex game, if they fixed those 2 points that are crucial in a sex game, I'm sure it would improve. I'm going to support the developer and I'm also going to give it 5 stars, just hoping that at least point 2 is taken into account (it can't be a coincidence that everyone points out the same negative point, sooner or later it will have to be realized).

great concept think budget witcher 3 on crack lol ... doing the tasks is pretty adictive you just wanna get em done .... the overal concept is great sadly the sex animations are terrible to the point of been worthless ... but its still worth playing ... i would give it 5 starrs if the animarions were not ao crap

This was a pleasant surprise tbh. one with an actually great story, and plenty of kinky sex scenes.i sat on this one for way too long, and so glad i didnt give up playing it, for my third attempt.


PROS

1. The Story is super indepth, with an engaging narrative that can take twists and turns, dependant on how you play and what choices you choose to make. its fantastic. and one of the rare gems that are an actual video game with adult galore content, over just being an adult game. this game made me want KCD2 out sooner xD

2. varied characters, with different personalities, and looks! now sure, they could differ the body shapes abit more between the cast. but for an adult game, the diverse range of the cast is fantastic, from their personality differences, to how they act and carry themselves. its amazing. they all feel like their own persons

3. the map, its HUGE. sure you cant explore it all yet, but the promise of a finished product i cannot wait for!! each town has its own charm, people, and problems. you're playing a fullly fledged adult RPG here!

4. the animations at times can be to low in terms of the frames, up them to 60 frames per second for more smoothness. but thats more so mostly in early game, and occasionally in later game. however, for the most part the animations are fantastic.

5. The sex. there is tons of variety of sexual options. from anal only, to vaginal, oral, titjobs, handjobs, ass to mouth etc. its great


CONS

1. The animations at times can be inconsistent from their frames, and quality. at times the characters penis can be way off from where its supposed to be. (vaginal scene, but looks like a thigh job). or the frame rates for the animations are inconsistent, which at times lead to an inconsistent quality of animations, between borderline robotic, to great quality stuff. the sex scenes are mostly amazing, but the angles in some need tweaked. as i wanna see the money shots, with the option to see only face shots too. not just one or the other.


2. The amount of broken english can at times lead to misunderstood guides or instructions, or just immersion breaking. especially in dialogue choices and options, and in sex scenes. I notice in some scenes the english is great, then in others its like another person entirely has wrote it. if you need a proof reader, and dialogue editor i am more than willing to offer them services for access to the glorious game builds. dm me privately.

3. GIMME MOREEEE GOD DAMMIT!


Summary: this game is fantastic, it has its flaws and quirks. but its not just a porn game (DO NOT WORRY, IT HAS TONS OF SEX). but this is an actual RPG in an open world, that doesnt feel grindy, with fully fledged RPG choices and character development. its amazing. and one of my favourite games on this site. had the few cons been tweaked and worked out, this would be a five star game!

Just played this game for the first time at 0.24d. After seeing the rating, all I can say is: what a disappointment. The game is slow, slow, and more slow. Unskippable and useless transitions everywhere. The game says it's native 1080p, but the renders look like 480p in only 256 colors. They're terrible. The writing is above average most of the time, but there's occasional Engrish. 15 minutes of this game was enough to realize I'm going to hate it. I find it hard to believe this game has been in development for 5 years and it's still this rough.

Great Game! Love the graphics, takes getting used to at first after the prologue but once you start playing you almost can't stop. Love the story and the humor in the game. Sometimes choices aren't what they seem at first until you make them. I would recommend saving as often as possible because you never know when you may have to go back to make a different choice. Recommended

A cool game to play on your free time. I missed more tutorials about the game mechanics.
The story is nothing new, yet, a good one. The sex scenes are fine, and the gameplayon overral is fun. No much action for a medieval style game, so I think it's missing the VN tag.
We can see the hard work of the dev on it, so,
Five starts.

Game engine lags a bit, but tries to work hard given resources. Smoother methods exist.
UI is a little cumbersome.
Language (english play through) is a little rough, but this can be easily fixed
Storylines and paths don't work as well as hoped, causing dead ends so players need to restart
Ambitious and show potential if refined

Edit: updating to 4* in meantime since it appears the game is no longer abandoned

Everything about this is 5* star quality... except that its never going to be completed and the story is probably only 30% finished.


Props to the developer - they punched out a *ton* of high quality content in a short period of time (when the game was being actively developed), but this project was way too ambitious to ever be finished. If the story had been scaled back, with less side plots and characters etc, it would have been completed. Instead its another game that abruptly ends in the middle with no conclusions

I really like this game, the story, the soundscape, the music, the characters are well chosen, the only small defect is perhaps the quality of the renderings But with reshade I still managed to have a really nice result. good work thanks !

This is truly one of the best games on this site, Real choices leads to totally different endings. This is the definition of an EPIC game. The reflection of real-life history, the details to character's personality, the various events, those good quality 3D renders and animations.......Everything works so well together that you won't believe it's made by ONE single man. All hail to SeventhVixen, one of the most talented makers of adultgames!

This game is bad and I don't understand why people rate it so highly (version reviewed : 0.19f).

Does it have potential to be a good story-based management game ? Yes, your choices are tracked and sometimes unlock exclusive dialogue options but, as of this version, these options have no impact besides showing a lewd scene or two. Yes you have ressources you can trade to gain favors from people but, meh, it feels limiting and clunky.

The animations are bad, real bad, to the point that I would rather be shown still images. And the writing does not imrpove the experience at all. I can excuse a few spelling mistakes here and there, especially if the writer is not a native speaker ; but this game is filled with typos that show a clear lack of re-reading and professionalism.

Also the game crashes a lot and the map takes time to load on my SSD ! I've been through the two chapters hoping to eventually reach that 4 and a half stars experience but I was only met with disappointment.

The animations aren't great, many of the characters look entirely too weird (much older than they should be, incredibly dirty, or just outright facially misshapen) or just plain hideous and the tcker tape text box is annoying as hell in a game set in the medieval era. Beside my laptop nealy died ,,, using too much memory (Unity) which is not worthed for this game to continue.

Unique game with strangely erotic graphics and a compelling story with meaningful choices and long term consequences for the MCs actions. Definitely one of a kind. Very much hope development continues to complete this game

This game's graphics are SO BAD. Game's Story is a very common. I don't like it. Renders are disgusting. Why this game have a lot of possitive comment? I don't know. I guess people want common games. This game's looks on the website very good but in the game very bad. Is it a bug or normal? Graphics looks like PS1 game's graphics. I can see pixels. So this game need good graphic. Game Developer should remake this game.

What you have done is some thing that can only be described with one word "awesome". Keep up the good work.

Good Story , character and renders , a few bugs . The game is a perfect vanilla level game for me cause what this game truly lacks are fetishes.
Hope you bring fetishes and I will surely support you in the future.

There are some good story and gameplay concepts here, but they are not realised in a way that would make this game remotely enjoyable. The UI is a garish, clunky assault on my eyes. The writing is atrocious. The lack of a skip function and unnecessarily long transitions for every in-game action makes the gameplay infuriating. If you're looking to be challenged on sheer dumb tenacity at finishing a terribly designed game to the end, this is certainly the game for you.

The design choice of making characters look unique and realistic instead of cut-paste daz-3d supermodels, especially given the context of mediaeval times, is also interesting. But, again, it is executed very poorly. The gfx and sex scenes are poorly rendered, lit and edited. I don't know if the high saturation is a stylistic choice but for me it's not a point in the game's favour. The first thing any gfx designer should figure out is how not to make images that hurt the viewers' eyes. The animations are decent in themselves but they do nothing for me given the overall gfx issues.

PS - I realise that I'm criticising the developer for some things that he/she may be powerless to change, as in not being a native english speaker, limited resources, lack of programming/dev experience etc. but these are faults nonetheless. But I would like to reiterate that these are faults of (very) poor execution rather than poor vision. A skeleton of something genuinely fun and engaging is certainly present but that's about the only point in favour of this game at the moment.

Like the idea of (optional) pregnancy in far future updates, as it would be very fitting for the time period and also given the fact that MC is a minor royalty it's common.

Some Dialogue already indicates pregnancy, though it's not a game tag yet, but with all the creampies you are handing out I am very eagerly looking forward to that, but as I said in faaaar future updates

anyways 5/5 for me so far (probably also because of me being a student of history haha), keep up the good work

The reason of my poor rating is based on one fact and the fact is infact a minor/major bug ( major cause my software perhaps..) Goes like this; I download the game, have 50GB space. I unpack the game, have 46.3GB space. Started go get into it and enjoy the most parts of the game for few days despite some crashes but its a WiP right, it is expected.. For me who tries a new game like.. every 15 days, its only normal.. So i go on untill after 4 days realise that only 21GB space left. Almost not anyother programs have been executed on the pc cause its my gaming one.. So i blame unity saves, right? Check them on and figure out that they actually are not the problem. So.. i start digging..

After some time i figure out this; Each time some mission-related minor bug or bad entry happens in the chache, game crashes. These crashes happens as freezing, so game freezes, no response sitch happens, task manager to kill the .exe. But each time this happens, 600-700mb of HD space is occupied. Now i dont know much about unity engine, my times messing with those are gone. Except browser-related, this was actually first time i tried unity as down/play so then again; not a pro, just trying to point out. So right after crash, 600-700mb whops from HD space. Tried to figure out what these evil HD-occupiers or where they located in the system and failed somehow cause usually some forum post points you out or you be able to dedicate recetly modified/created files in windows system or game folder or temp folder keeps the files but...... no. So, about 20GB HD space occupied for just 3.5 GB game and i need that space. I delete the game, nothing. I delete the entry folder+saves, still no gain. Defrag,, nothing, really?! I recovered the system for this. Then i managed the bugs came with the system recovery related with other programs running on this pc. So SORRY. No more than 2 stars for you and that 2 goes to minerva adios.
