Been watching the game for a while and finally gave it a try. It was alright.

Story 4/10

You and your family move to an island with your aunt. On your first day you meet some douchebag named Jose and you get into competition to see who can fuck the the most girls in a week.

There's a couple of side quests in the middle such as a school trip, a bikini competition, beauty pageant, muscle competition, and others. The varied competitions make each day slightly different without being too much.

The girls are kind of 1-dimensional and are just full on tropes. But hey, it's not that bad. Just not that good.

Gameplay 6/10

As I said, you have a week for the competition. Each day is split into hours in which you perform actions. However, it's a little confusing since some actions take 0 hours, while others take 1. So you can't just do whatever, you need to maximize your 0 hour actions to get a good result. It's a bit weird but it works.

There's 24 "main" girls in the game (plus side characters) and you have to get 10 lust points to have sex with them. Lust points are gained by interacting with them during dialogue options. And you know what? It works. It's fun. Discovering what does what, what interactions there are. The dialogue is kind of dumb (the writing isn't One Hundred Years of Solitude) but it's entertaining. You can see the art is over the top and so is the dialogue.

You know, usually I don't rate gameplay to be good. It's the hardest metric to get right. You need to blend the h and the gameplay seamlessly because at the end of the day I'm rating an h-game. Battle of the Bulges did an okay job.

Art 5/10

I really like balloon tits and this game has balloon tits. Ergo I like the art in this game? Well... it's okay. The art scenes are okay, not amazing. The repeat loop isn't great (but you can fast forward through them). The length of the sex scene dialogue isn't too long which is good.

Some of the girls are nice while others just look weird. Maddie's skin tone makes her look like a zombie.

Strangly, the art is what drew me to the game but it wasn't a strong showing. At least not for me.

The Battle of the Bulges is an okay game. I enjoyed the gameplay while the art was a little lackluster. The game didn't overstay it's welcome, it ends in 7 days flat.

love competing with and wrecking guys who think they're hung in real life and this is the best replication of that ive found online. really well made and great animations. pretty funny at times too and the chicks are all hot size queens. thanks to the dev for making this

Most eroge are one of two things, super grindy, or just super shallow. This one has a great balance. Simple and fun writing and scenarios keep the game breezy, and so many scenes means you're rarely repeating the same scenarios, but if you do repeat something, it's typically such a short interaction that it doesn't get annoying.

Basic gameplay loop of trying to get relationship points with girls and race an opponent to girls is fun, and opens this up to be pretty replayable. It could also get a bit frustrating. When the game started, I tried to go after the moms, but the opponent almost instantly bedded them, and in a few cases I focused on girls I didn't like, just to beat him. Such a weird concept but it was actually pretty fun!

The variety of women is welcome, and if you ignore your opponent, you could basically just go after your favorites and have a good time. Lots of ways to enjoy and lots of content there. Good shit.

Overall: If you look at the preview pics and think this is a game for you, it will probably deliver on that well enough.

General visuals: The renders and models are decent. I don't like over-porportioned characters, but I knew what I was getting into. And there was a reasonable amount of hotness in the visuals. I liked the occasional use of textures, like water or oil - wished there'd been a bit more of that, especially with scenes like Chiyo putting sunscreen on herself.

Sex scenes: The 2 or 3 pic "animations" were fine but having to see them cycle 30 times while an audio completed was tedious. Overall the shots had some nice angles and lighting. For as ridiculous as they were, they were often pretty hot.

Writing: It was silly, but kind of funny and it was definitely coherent. A lot better than the stuff that's poorly written and then poorly translated as one often sees. But there was no depth to it. Just silly fun. I appreciated that there wasn't a bunch of moral dilemma stuff that wouldn't make sense in this kind of lightweight fuck contest game - I didn't have to lie to a bunch of girls about how they were the only one for me before fucking someone else 2 hours later. So I appreciated that.

Gameplay: I'm not a fan of having to play a game more than once (or twice if it's good) to get through the majority of the scenes. But that's supposed to be this games biggest game design feature - you're supposed to play like 6-10 times through to see everything. And you don't even know how to trigger a bunch of stuff unless you read a walkthru or experiment a ton. I tried using a walkthru to play, but even that was hard to make work, so I ended up starting another run and cheating like crazy to see as much sexy content as possible. But even cheating is tedious. I mean, the game works as it was designed by the creator - it's just a kind of design I hate and I don't think this game is worth spending enough time on to play it several times through as designed.

At the end of the day, it wasn't a waste of time and it kept my interest enough to finish it. And it was fun enough that I want to see the creator's other projects and see how they improve.

TLDR:

More context:
I went in after playing Morning Lust and had very little expectations. I was prepared for a short memey experience where characters have parody-sized proportions.
I was shockingly surprised in a good way. This is indeed a 'game ass game'. The dev had an idea for a simple plot, and has executed it as well as one can hope for.

You can read the plot synopsis in the 'overview'. The game challenges you to consider your choices while managing time and resources.

This game was started in 2017, and in the timescale of adult games, it feels like 30 years ago
There are very few games from back then that you play and feel like the dev took its project very seriously. And if for nothing else, the dev must be sincerely commended for this.
I finished the game winning 12-3 and I'm sure I've missed a ton of interactions and scenes.
I can only imagine how much time and effort the dev has put into this.

Conclusion:
This is actually a "game" which fully commits to its own theme, gameplay and jokes. It is unusual and pleasantly so.
If any of the tags don't cross your red line, I highly recommend it.

Very bad game.

First off play it muted the sound effects are the worst things in existence.

I liked the concept of the rival at first but you can lose far too quickly because there are no hints or anything which makes everything just confusing. I wish there would be a option to remove the rival or lower his stats in the game. I know that there are mods but they don´t work anymore atleast none that I found.

The sex scenes have bad animations.

The characters don´t have much of a personality but I thought most looked hot atleast which is most important in a game that doesn´t take it self serious.

The gameplay is very user unfriendly and ruined every joy I had.

If you don´t mind the gameplay, and like muscle and bimbo girls I guess this game is okay but I couldn´t stand the gameplay.

Best game ever. My favorite game. Wish it had more FUTA girls. And for the any future games please add a FUTA protagonist. there are so little games with FUTA protagonist. I love the Amzonium videos, so I would like to something similar in games too. A big fat cock FUTA with giant muscles and six pack abs is my deep fantasy. Other than that game is awesome!

very fun game with the competition aspect (+ sandbox) making it stand out from other games. The character design is not for everyone, but I personally dont mind it. It's not perfect but it is super fun with a lot of replay-ability.

Played this a while ago, but my memories are mostly positive. EpicLust has his own unique style of writing and humour, and the bimbo fetish is perfectly executed, with plenty of fantastic bodies. I have a skimpy clothing/lingerie fetish and this game really fed me.

In my opinion this is EL's best game, since I have yet to finish Apocalypse, which is also good, but suffers more from wandering around in circles.

Entertaining!

An great RnPy game. It is hard at times to accomplish what you want, especially getting a perfect play through, so I highly suggest you follow the latest guide to the T. Otherwise, it has plenty of merits, and some minor cons as listed below.

PROS:
-If you like Bimbo models, this game HAS IT. Almost every character has big or massive assets, and many have beautiful faces. Some are like 6s-7s, but it's all personal opinion...
-Story is self aware of the ridiculousness, and plays off it a lot. Also has a great basis for a sex game. 'Fuck more women than that Chad over there.'
-Although some of the models faces are...defined. I'd say it adds character to them. With many 'Bimbo" VNs/Sex games all the characters start to look the same. In this, they may have some obvious similarities on the bodies, but faces are distinct, and thus it helps ensure each character has more character.
-Also, each character seems to be written at least half-decent. Most have personalities and while somewhat cartoony/over the top, they feel unique, and believable. Think of this game as a charcature of some Californian sex utopia and it begins to make sense.
-Some of the scenes have really steamy writing and coupled with Bimbos, good characterization, and great CG work, you'll C U M in no time.
-Unlike many games, worth multiple plays and can easily come back after some months/years and re-enjoy.

CONS:
-Game can be hard if you are mindlessly trying to get every woman. This leads to the next, and a big one for some.
-NTR is possible if you see a girl, really want her, and then fail to choose the right path/options. You might even end up seeing that Chad fucking the girl you really wanted, and I guess that could trigger some pple....Just read the guide beforehand.
-Some of the writing/grammar is a little off, but this is due to English not being creators first language (iirc).
-Animations and scenes vary in quality. Some are low frame and robotic, while others are smoother and have great angles. This can suck if you really like a girl and she only has 2 janky animations. But this is a Harem game, you can find a few more girls you like, right?

OVERALL: Great game, would recommend if you like Harems, Bimbos, and some simple/comedic story.

Loved playing this game. The worst part of the game to me was competing with the other guy. He got on my nerves a lot, but once you figure the game out it becomes one of the best parts of the game. I just worked hard on my family for my second playthrough. In the first playthrough, I was the underdog and lost. And your family is the one there at the end supporting whoever won and shaming the loser. So that was rough. Second play he didn't get any of my relatives in his harem, and I got more girls than he did. So I won. My third I found out there was a cheat so I literally got every girl in my harem and he didn't get to fuck anyone. Obviously my third was my favorite because the game does a good job making you hate the competition. All in all, the game was really good. The characters are far too muscular for me but it is clear that's the author's thing and it's not like it's a turn-off for me so I enjoyed it. 4 out of 5 only because on my third playthrough the author had implemented safeguards against cheating causing you to lose if you pursue certain ppl like your sister too soon, where your sister literally calls you a cheater if your strength has been maxed out cause you cheated, but if you are smart about it you can get around those and still win with every girl in your harem including your sister who doesn't like cheaters apparently. Which I find shocking considering there is no way anyone gets that muscular without steroids and professional help, which is cheating so yeah, she's kind of a hypocrite. Thank you author for the game.

the oversize body shape is never my thing，I mean I prefer big boobs，but not that big . Eventhough I have to admit this game is a good one，the theme is unique，the dialogues are funny，made me laugh a lot . All those random events and achievements，need really hard work and a smart brain to build，I wanna send my respect to the Dev~ .

A sandbox with fail states that requires random events to trigger to allow access to some scenes. The writing and designs are pretty fun imo, but it is more frustrating than it's worth if you are the type that doesn't enjoy being unable to access parts of the game randomly.

I played the game. I can't say it was very good or very bad. But it didn't quite meet my expectations. Despite this, the ending was quite good. I also have to say that the game gives a really nice sense of competition. It was a pretty short game, but I was already expecting it to happen because of its size. I wish that after the game was over, we could move around the map and continue to fuck girls like most other games. At the final, what I want to say is that I think Dev made this game to gain experience. Apocalypse, the game he developed after this game, is quite successful.

Not my thing personally, but it definitely knows what it is and what it wants to be. If you just wanna do a humorous sex adventure thing then this is for you. Not much in the way of story, but it ain't going for that so I won't judge.

-...ce qui nous pousse à faire quelques petits calculs...pervers, et donc à recommencer le jeu comme un new game+ pour débloquer toutes les scènes
-le héro est juste fun à incarner
-pour ceux qui aiment les dames aux gros boobs se faisant recadrer par une grosse teub
-tout est volontairement exagéré et assumé

Points négatifs:
-un peu court, mais ça se justifie peut être par le scénario, à voir
-cette durée aurait pu légèrement augmenter par l'ajout de quelques activités supplémentaires, comme des mini-jeux, comme on le voit dans apocalypse quand le héros part à la chasse
-map trop courte, mais là encore cela se justifie peut-être par la durée de l'histoire

Je conseille vivement les jeux de ce développeur.

I liked that it showed, at least for me personaly, a new perspective of looking at and enjoying 3dcg vns.
It's also fairly long so not your average one sitting fly thru. I had spent three evenings playing.
