Unity - Beast Keeper[v0.178a] [BeastKeeperDev]

To be honest it's a very simple game. Only a few scenes what are good but the gameplay is boring and grindy. You can get all the scenes without any effort. No quests, no missions or stats what you have to do or have to reach to the next scene.

The art design is pretty good, at least I like it a lot and the animated CGs are also good enough to be enjoyable but they are not the best. Also the BGM is very good and relaxing, I like it.

This game offers 15 minutes of story and that's it at the moment.

Beast Keeper offers great art, fun and interesting gameplay. The sex and bonding system is unique and enjoyable with the cutscenes. Though some mechanics feel grindy like the plant farm. Frequent updates show promise and i myself will definitely stick around to see where this project is going. Absolutely worth the download.

So here's the thing: Get horse -> Farm mushrooms until you have 500 gold (buy nothing, upgrade nothing), get wolf -> Bond with horse until no more scenes -> Bond with wolf (there is only one scene).

That's basically the content over with.

Now, is there a game in there? Yes. A really terrible mostly-idle game. The way it works is that by spending vast amounts of money you can make a little more money slightly faster. Eveeeentuuuually the improvements add up, I guess? But there is no point in improving things to get money faster because you have already exhausted the game content, and also because the improvements are so small compared to the cost.

"By spending 2000 gold, I can now get 500 gold in 19 minutes instead of 20 minutes! Yay!" If this is you, then you will probably like the gameplay.

progression is way too slow, theres no gameplay at all. i spent way too much money on my horse and hes worth like a dollar. the actually cgs are good, i do like the artstyle a lot, but the grind really doesn't feel worth it at all

+Animations are nice
+The farming is nice. Being able to upgrade the crops is definitely a great idea.
+The UI is easy to use, nothing useless or complicated.

-Not much to do at the moment.
-Tweaks like upgrading for automatic farming or other ideas aren't implemented, making the crop upgrading the only way to upgrade at all.
-If you only play for h-content, you have 5 scenes and that's basically it, making you finish this game if you want in less than 3min.

All in all this game has potential to be great if it keeps up the quality and implementing more ideas. I hope they don't abandon this game and actually make more of it.

+ Good Smut: Bestiality focus ( horse only atm )
+ Good Art: Slightly janky but look great
+ Shows promise: What's here seems to be a good foundation

= Plot: not enough to judge it one way or the other atm

- Gameplay: Boring atm but it fits the farm sim, hoping for automation eventually, or something more engaging
- Jank: had some issues where the dialogue hanged and clicking the continue button didn't continue a few times.

Artwork is great, characters are well animated. Game is a clicker and it's not finished yet, but am awarding 4* just for the potential of this alone. I wish you all luck on your project.

At the moment you can just go through all the scenes, when the game tells you there are no more scenes, you're done! And they are good scenes.

If you keep the artwork as good, put in a good economy and have a good progression system it's going to be a really good game by the end.

as the game is now, due to it being the first iteration of it, there isnt much to do (which is fine). what I hope to see in the future is more interactable stuff that you can do in the stables just so there is something other than clicking crops to pass time. another thing that would be nice is permanent updgrades for stables tied to what ever you could do for the aformentioned time passing. i didnt play for long, but it didnt seem that the beast was gaining any progress with stats along with maturity.

Otherwise, I like the art work and I like the atmosphere of the game. Hope to see more progress in the future

The game is fine, it still has some bugs in it but it has great potential. The 3 scenes it has are well drawn and decently animated. The core gameplay is a little on the tedious side. That could also be its very early in development. Still a decent game I'm looking forward to further updates.
