BeastBound Origins

BeastBound Origins is a game that aims to combine a fun turn-based combat system with monster-catching and training mechanics. This is an early and exclusive version, available to those who want to try it ahead of time. Please note that it does not represent the final product.
Combat System

A turn-based combat system determines whether Veya will come out victorious in each battle. The game currently features 44 cards, divided into various types. You can rely on brute strength, agility, magic, or your feminine charm to overcome the many dungeons you'll face.
Monster Capture

When you defeat a monster, you’ll have the chance to convince it to join your team. Each monster has its own skills and backstory. You can assign them to run a business, take them into battle, rename them, train them, or even profit from them. Just don’t treat them poorly, some might try to escape during the night. Right now, there are 11 different monsters to capture... Do you have what it takes to catch them all?
Shop

After long days of adventure in the desert, you’ve earned your reward. In the shop, you can upgrade your caravan, buy useful items to aid in battle, or even unlock new outfits for Veya.
Pregnancy

If Veya is penetrated by a monster, there’s a chance she might become pregnant. This lasts for a few in-game days and changes her appearance in battles, conversations, and NSFW scenes. Currently, the effect is purely cosmetic.
Businesses

You can manage a tavern to earn extra income. Assign monsters as workers, renovate the space, and attract more customers. Each upgrade you apply will visibly change the appearance of your business.
Mods
This is, honestly, the most complex feature I’ve implemented, but also one I was most excited about. BeastBound Origins supports mods without any programming knowledge required. You can add new monsters, cities, outfits for Veya, or even new businesses. All the modder needs to do is provide the images and fill out a simple text file (with things like the monster’s element and stats).
For players, adding a mod is as easy as dragging a folder to the right place, and that’s it, you're ready to play. I haven’t made a proper guide yet, since there’s still time before the full release, and some things may change, but the system is already fully functional.
Early Version
Originally, I was planning to release the game officially once it was fully finished, with a complete story from start to end. But on Discord, someone got a bit impatient and convinced me to share an exclusive early version instead XD
I thought it’d be a good idea to make a post on F95Zone, since there might be more people interested in the project, and honestly, it makes me happy to see more folks trying it out.
