Review of the EP1 v8.1 version.

Great game. For the first time playing porn games it felt like I am actually playing a real whole "game" not just a cheap minigame or VN.
The whole thing so far is played through in one short evening setting but already includes lots of various gameplay.
It is not perfect and there are some small minor bugs but if it continues like that, it could easily become of the best adult games.

Hope to see more progress of the dev soon.

Love it so far and still have to play it but THE CAMERA ALWAYS CHANGIN ON ITS OWN MAKES ME RAGE. i could never fap to this garbage because it always changes the camera mode for no reason and i FUCKING HATE THAT while having a boner.

I thought it was about to be like any other 3d game, I decided to test it.
now, I see I made a mistake with my opinion, the game has good graphics (even though i had to set everything in low cuz my cheap laptop), but, I see this game has a lot of heart into, voice acting, good customization of characther, many clothes, secrets, mechanics, and history, in the ship part (when you have to get inside again after escape from the tomb) I felt so much tension like if something was about to attack me, even knowing it's a porn game.

but, if I have to point to something bad...

first: I'm not totally sure if it's because my laptop is a potato, or the game optimization, like I said, i had to set everything in low (other games that I play with tons of mods, don't lag like that)

second: you can't kill the enemies, you have a gun, a bow, but they can't die at all... that made the tomb part a little bit hard, bc sometimes those mummies got in my way and I couldn't do something quickly

third: the personalization can be better, if you include hips proportions, thighs proportions, and maybe waist proportions, I thought the option of muscle was about to make her more thick, more buff, but I see it only makes her get a six pack, I can say I liked how you can edit other parts and details of her body, so I think it's fine, but if you can... maybe add more options for the butt, like... make it look in custom mode to make it more realistic and less unnatural...

fourth: sometimes during a scene, the options below just disappear for no reason, and sometimes the camera have bugs and you get far away from the MC


fifth: i was hoping for more bestiality content, I think the raptor was a good one, but I felt a little dissapointed when the horsey didn't interact with her.


sixth: I think you should add some clues for the MC when it comes for puzzles, only because my IQ is 185 i knew what to do and how to get the answer, but I bet many players would spend hours trying to resolve them...

seventh: It would be amazing if you add normal clothes for the MC, you know... to keep her body more covered to keep the mystery of her features, but enough thin or tight to look at her... idk if my point can be understand...


But... i emjoyed the game, I truly did it, not only to goon, but a good 3d nsfw game, I truly liked, it was so good, and check it out, I'm talking from my perspective, a perspective that is poor because I couldn't enjoy most of the game for my poor laptop, I cooked my dinner using my laptop like a grill.

besides that, I belive... no... I know this game has future, and if you keep in mind the recommendations, it can be beyond better, it would be amazing.

also, I hope it would have a lot of bestiality stuff

Hmm. For a game titled "Beasts in the Sun" there is a disturbing lack of both beasts, and sun. I had to lower my shadow effects so I could even see in the first temple.

That said, this game is... ambitious. And honestly, aside from some issues with game geometry, I didn't really have any major problems. Graphically, the game looks very good.

My only real issues (hence the 3 stars) are: The lack of an auto-save system. The game simply returns to the main menu when you put the minotaur head in, with zero confirmation or warning, and I'm not suffering through the ossuary again just to explore the rest of the island. And... dear god, that voice actress.

Perfect, it's very immersive and interactive, offering many options to enjoy with Tara, from customizing her to your liking to the sexual poses you want her to perform. The puzzles are very good, as are the secrets, since it makes you search in every corner of a very well-set map. The only negative thing is perhaps the exaggerated size of the statues' penises and some dildos, but it's fine, it still feels quite exciting and is enjoyable lol.

This is a really ambitious game. It is kind of like an 3d adventure game from telltale but with in engine sex scene. He pulls it off pretty well too. There are appearance sliders and other customizations options. The updates are very infrequent though. There is what, 1.5 updates in the past two years. I hope he is able to put out more though.

Pretty good gameplay, nice scenes and you get quite a bit of customization in the model's settings. I was quite impressed with everything in the game, but it does overall feel like it need some polishing here and there to improve overall quality. Minor things like some clipping on rocks need some improvement. Game even has a NG+ mode to carry over your collectables.

Don't get me wrong -- I think Lara looks hot in this game.. but that's about all it has going for it, I guess. Content wise I felt it was lacking in many different ways. The animation on this is superb, if not one of the best looking games I've played. That being said, when something looks good, I guess it sets up an expectation of the content/scenes to be on par, which, in my opinion, was not. I mean, we're coming up on two years in a few months, and I feel like not that much has truly changed in the time I first started playing this game. Like oooh, I get to fuck a mummy two different ways. Nice, I get to fuck a baby raptor one way. Every other scene in the game I flat out skipped because it bored me, & the voice acting was just too ehhhhhhhhhhh .___.

I do like the outfits & puzzle aspect of the game, made it somewhat stimulating. The map feels like it could be enormous once you get past a certain temple part, but its then cut brutally short with a "SEE YA IN THE NEXT BUILD" gimmick right after you see a certain infamous horse & a large reason I actually downloaded this game. Give us what we want damn it. Two options for "chosen" sexual encounters should not warrant nearly five stars, if you ask me. Get it together & release an actual update, & I'll return with another review, hopefully with a better tone to it.

This is, in all honesty, not great. It's clunky and buggy. I spent half the episode with a "Pick up the bow" task because the bow simply didn't appear, and multiple times, I seemed to randomly start taking damage and die. The sex scenes are well animated, but there are some that I just didn't like.

The game is excellent, I loved it! It reminded me a lot of AAA adventure games. I only found a few issues, such as continuity errors in the scenes and the interaction of clothes with the scenes, which could be more consistent. I suggest removing some ugly outfits, like the red one and the tiger swimsuit. I would love an option to repeat scenes, like collecting leaves – for example, every 3 leaves, unlock and repeat a scene. I loved being able to customize the character, and I would like to make her thinner, with no butt or breasts, and paler. I would like to see more variety of animals and creatures on the island, which would make the game even more immersive.

I feel like the impressiveness of this project as a technical achievement for an indie studio has blinded people to the mediocrity of the actual play experience. It became boring and annoying to play quite quickly. Personally, I was also put off by the corny writing and tone.

A beautiful game for erotic game standards, though I would not take the time to take in the scenery. Decently fun, it feels like an adventure with climbing around and the puzzle solving but then it also feels like a walking simulator with the simplicity of the puzzles and movement. Combat is just not there, you could just avoid the enemies and be without a scratch and when you are fighting the enemies there is no sense of threat, they are slow and can easily be taken out. Using a bow or gun for how close you are to enemies due to how rooms are designed just feels janky, I would prefer a melee system. I often encountered a bug where I try to grab onto an edge but failed, where loading a save was the only way to fix it. Gallery entries and some outfits do require you to put in the extra effort of intentionally losing to enemies and exploring respectively (but you could use a save file for this). I found the protagonist to be fun but I wished that she was more expressive, by having more dialogue and more energy put into her voice acting.

In the end, I found this to be enjoyable and I would recommend this game, it is short (about 2-3 hours) so it does not feel like a waste of time. Also please add horse sex.

One of the best erotic games I've ever played. In addition to corn, there's cool gameplay with interesting puzzles.
The game turned out so good that I wanted to play the tomb rider trilogy again.
The plot in its current form is already quite interesting. I'll be looking forward to future updates.

The only thing is to add a hint about the save button (f5).

It actually lowkey feels like a tomb raider game which is kinda crazy to me.
Looks fantastic visually. Some clunky action going on but it is minor. Very nice intro, sweet voice acting.

My wishes:
- Wrote save feature here first, realize there is a manual save feature.
- Enemies removing some of the clothes if were leaning into the losing situation.
- Switching positions or better flowing sex scenes. The "pick position" "repeat move different speed" is decent but with the level of quality for the rest of the game kinda outshines the actually +18 element at this stage.

Great job, definatly worth a playthrough.

I love this quality and how everything is working in this game. Perfect quality, good story, good gaming experience, everything is match with my taste. I cant wait to see new versions and spend more time with this game 10/10

[ Review for version - Ep.1 Supporter v8.1 ]

TL;DR: Beast in the Sun is one of the best 3D porn games I've tried on here. The gameplay feels great, the sexy scenes are amazing (even if content wise they aren't to my taste), and the visuals are outstanding. Absolutely worth playing and supporting.

The Good: For fans of a certain tomb exploring genre this is the best fan game out there right now by my count. Love the protagonist, and you have so much flexibility with body and outfit customization too if you want to make it fit your preferences. I also love that the protagonist is unashamedly erotic. The sex scenes and the system around it is some of the best I've seen.

The Average: The game is still in development, and while it generally plays well you will run into a few bugs and feel-bad moments in responsiveness. Notably I've had to reload the game a few times and replay sections because of this.

The Bad: All sex scenes that aren't masturbation are locked behind losing to an enemy, so there's really only sex by rape in the game currently which I don't like. There are scenes where the protagonists fucks inanimate objects, but that's masturbation with props.

Wishlist:
> Horse. You show horse, deliver horse.
> Sex scenes that don't require waiting for an enemy to defeat you. It's lame to intentionally fail to get a sex scene.
> More of Tara. She's a great protag and really funny.
> More random environmental scenes for Tara to interact with, like we had in the shipwreck

Played this game for the first time recently, and I was impressed! This is so full of culture it's insane!

The adventuring part kinda sucks sometimes, but the character model for the MC is amazing, and she has some really good costumes to find in the game. Her default look is super good, with minor tweaks it becomes perfect!

I usually don't care to much about scenes with toys or "statues", but in this game they are very good. And scenes with the creatures are amazing. The comics you find in the game area also amazing!

I hope we get more scenes with "beasts" in the future. Statues already got enough attention in my opinion.

In short, very cool game with some amazing scenes!

You should definitely try the game. It’s one of the better (higher quality) ones out there. If you’re into monsters and hardcore sex this is also for you.

But there’s one big issue with this game that completely ruins it for me. It’s a HUGE turn off and I just can’t see past it. WHY THE FUCK IS HER POSTURE LIKE THAT?! What did he think by this when he made the character? I mean it’s a video game and not realistic but no human person walks/stands like this. It looks like she has some kind of retardation that forces her to bend her legs like this. The problem is I don’t think this can be fixed easily without doing a lot of stuff over again. The developer made a huge mistake and for me it ruins everything. It seems like most people can look past it, because this game is hitting a lot of people’s fetishes, but for me it’s an absolute no-go. Especially If you’re playing an adventure game where 90% of gameplay is looking at the mc walking around. Such a shame.
