Honestly I am indifferent to it but many people already mentioned she didn't do a good voice for Dawna (VA is the same person for Zoe and Dawna)
Probably they wanted to find a new VA for Dawna and the VA didn't accept to have their lines cut in half.
Well damn, looks like we'll have to wait another decade to play the new chapter.

iirc the reason was that the VA stopped doing NSFW work and is trying to distance herself from that
voice acting is dead with ai. guess moans are still hard to generate nevertheless

If they add AI voice acting in the game (and not being an April Fools Joke), it'll happen 2 possible results:
1- People getting mad and quit suppoting the project
or 2- People getting made about it, and yet still supporting it like always
