We have been having a few people report that and we are currently unaware of how to fix it. Are you using a particular browser extension, are you activating google translate, what device are you playing on, do you click on the word "begin" or on the edges of the button?
We would love to help, but we can't seem to reproduce the issue.
Which is better though? Small updates more frequently or long gaps of time for large updates?
I prefer large updates but mainly because I dont like needing to constantly download full games for small bits of content.
Well, after so many reports we found the issue. We are going to release the next update early as an apology and include a fix for this breaking bug

ok i will say MY opinion. Take some time and do an update that has extra content but make sure you complete some characters not a scene per update.
It doesn't happen automatically, I think you need to go into the Don's office at the Casino and order it. It has been a while, so don't recall all the details.
Thanks for replying, yeah it i tried the button from all angles lol. I also treid on 3 different browsers so I don't think it could be an extension. And using it in English, no google translate. Glad you found the fix tho. Technically I think it can still be played by using the fast travel and skipping whatever the intro does but I didn't want to do that in case it fucked with game later. Out of curiosity what was causing this for some people?
A css mistake from one of the dev, basically the halloween decoration sits on top of the begin button. Load a save or make the window smaller and you should be able to click it.
We add whole quests, with generally 7-8 new events at least including at least 5 actual content scenes. People asked for it, we delivered. Maybe not you, but on patreon out of 1800 people, 600 voted yes for only 4 no.
