The wardrobe is simply for customization. If you have to switch clothes every time you want to do something it'll be a really grindy game, which is not what I set out to create in all honesty <3

Done, and thanks for the review
Not a coder by nature, so some of the things are just what I came up with through the code I know and learned.
That being said, some of the decisions are intentionally obscure of sorts to give a playthrough that doesn't feel entirely guided. The reason there is no quest system is because there truly is one quest, to improve your character with a bunch of random stuff to become prom queen. All random stuff being stats that are present on the right that define your character and her world. All stuff not being really random since they follow a certain logic and they are stated on where to find them once you emet their requirements on the objectives tab on the bottom right.
All that is to say, I do believe your biggest issue with the game, and something I agree with you on and need to work on improving, is the fact that the font is sometimes too small, and lacks compatibility when compared to screens that are drastically different than mine as a developer. With time, hopefully these issues pointed out will be dealt with.
Otherwise, when it comes to the wardrobe, the clothes that are present are only for flair and customization. Only few events require specific clothing, and even then it's up to you to manually select them before going on said events. There is no need to save costumes with the way the game is currently organized.

Giving the player agency means giving them some idea of what choices will yield. You're not there IRL; you can't read facial expressions or detect hints of sarcasm or where a character's focus is. I objected to the icons for precisely that reason. If all you're interested in is boosting stats, then that's fine. But there are relationships to foster (and, hopefully, sex to be had) so that needs to factor in as well.
It's not just the font size. It's...well...everything. It feels like a hodge-podge of ideas instead of a cohesive design. "Design" is one of those "I'll know it when I see it" kind of things. Usually, when it comes to game design, less is more. Focus on the stuff that materially affects the game, and relegate everything else to secondary windows and popups based on how often you need to refer to it.
I get that. But then there shouldn't be any focus on wardrobe at all. Why the underwear and clothes stores at the mall? If I can't designate certain clothes to be workout or school clothes (or date clothes, or slutty clothes), what's the purpose? One of the reasons people like playing sims is that they get to inhabit the character for a while. If I were a college-age girl, and especially if I were trying to make myself as sexy as possible for "points," I'd certainly care about what I wore. Or just mumble something about the MC magically always wearing the right thing and be done with it. IMHO.
