It is a game on Unreal Enigne so it goes without saying there is a massive ass map that has as little utilization as it can, in terms of interactivity with literally any object or the literal engine.
Which engine would you use if you were going to only implement a linear path towards progression? You'd think of levels, episodes, something much more curated, here we have a massive map that has literally nothing in it, not even the most basic of UI to guide yourself through it. If it werent for the walkthrough I'd give up playing until the latest patch.
The h-scenes are fine, they aren't bad for what seems to be, in-engine, the only thing properly UN was used for here, but the fact that th e game is linear, it means revisiting h-scenes is a major chore for the only way to do this is through the "Saves" of chic they have no information on date, location, or even part of the linear story. There are major flaws here that are getting ignored in favour of h-scene animations and watnot, I think the devs need to take a couple of steps back and approach this differently.
