VN - Ren'Py - Being a DIK [v0.11.1] [DrPinkCake]

Everything about this game is top notch. So much so that it leaves everything about every other game in the dust. A joy to play and experience.
I find it hard to even call this a “porn” game, more like funny , well written American Pie-esque visual novel that has well written and established characters and setting . That happens to have sex scenes if you play your cards right.
Can’t recommend enough, only gripe is the time between updates, but you can’t rush quality.

For some reason I stopped playing this game after v.0.2.0 and damn that was a mistake. The story, the renders, actual consequences to actions both in short and longterm, a great integration of a phone, this game has it all.

Similar as in Acting Lessons, Dr PinkCake has such a talent for creating the MCs male best friend. Alongside the beautiful love interests, Derek is one of the funniest and most likeable characters.

Some negative aspects are worth noting:

• as said in the disclaimer and seen in his previous game, we probably can expect some dark turn in the story later on. As that obviously makes the story more interesting, I kind of hope that there will also be a "perfect" ending
• Some of the minigames are soooo annoying. I love the rework of the fighting games, those are actually kind of fun to play. I cannot imagine playing any of the classes minigames without the walkthrough mod, however the word finding minigame is the worst.
• While there are only a few free roam parts, they still feel time wasting and non-benefitial to the story/game

tl;dr: With the walkthrough mod this is the best or second best adult game ever created, I just cannot decide if this or City of Broken Dreamers is better

A simply extraordinary game. Although I never liked the school concept, Being a DIK manages to do a mix of eroticism and fooling around in an optimal way. It is one of the few games that justifies waiting for updates by making the experience enjoyable and unique.
The game recently surpassed Milfy City on the charts and is a well-deserved achievement. Right now the storyline has so many doors open and manages to keep you in front of the screen almost like the sex scenes.
Another plus is the completely original soundtrack which makes this game even more recognizable.

In conclusion. In 10 years, when Being a DIK is finished for quite a while, it will enter the legend of erotic games. And we will all remember it as we drop a tear and masturbate <3

Quality renders, good humor, and some interesting minigames. Tried initial playthough just trying to play as myself and mostly stayed in the center of the game's morality meter, never more than 9 from neutral. Will play again to try the extremes and also to try to find all the missed renders and how to use the numbers found to access the "Vault."

Most amazing story line, graphics and beautiful sexy models. My Fav. is Isabella and hoping to see more fun and Love side story. Eagerly waiting for the next release. ` `

I really fall in love with Jill. What every adult VN should be. Great renders, great cast, great writing. The story is really well written. The animations could be better. Also, i don't understand the "feels" other people got... This is almost perfect.

I don't even know where to start, the models you're using for each and every character are so freaking amazingly and stunningly gorgeous (don't even know if that's an actual set of words with meaning tbh).
Whole story with so many freaking options, like I've never seen in games so far that also have such an impacts on each character and story.
It's amazing, I literally felt in love with this game and can't wait for the rest of the story.
My favorites are Quinn and Sage, I love their looks and their personalities, their dialogues, they actually remind me a bit of Miranda Lawson and Jack (personalities and looks) from Mass Effect and I'm huge Mass Effect fan.
Also as story is such in depth for each character, I feel like I'm connecting with them, getting to know them, learning their flaws, their pain, it's so freaking realistic and amazing.
I can't thank you enough for this, I literally enjoy this game on so many different levels.
Yes, I would love to fuck each and every girl probably, like in any other game here on F95, but also I would like something more and this game delivers it.
Hopefully fucking Arieth becomes an option soon, can't wait to do so.
I feel like this game already have so many story lines that I'll need a bunch of time to check and get.
Overall amazing work,as I said many times I love it and can't wait for next update and of course final version!

Great game, have enjoyed it from the beginning to the end.

It has a great script, with many fun episodes and minigames,the renders are amazing, girls are hot and they fit the characters very well and the story is long enough to spend quite a few days to finish it. I just can say thanks a lot for creating such an awesome game DR Pinkcake!

this legit might be one of the best VN I ever played. played it with no expectation and was quickly sucked in by the loveable cast of characters.dr pinkcake is an actual genius. most of the time I highly recommend you take your time to read this and not skip all the dialogue. I promise you will not regret it

Interesting characters, a story to be told, a robust code, renders and animations on a professional level, sounds and music...
You will play this game even without your dick in your hand. Yes, it's really THAT good!

Its just awsame the moddels are really butifull and the sex scenes are more than satisfying wich i don't see that often. the only thing that i don't like is that you more or sless need to desiede to f the teacher or have a relationship witch maya and so. but its lovely and i am waiting for the 6th chapter earnd yourselfe a patreon for some months. (english is my second language and i succ at writing so sry if you got a stroke from reading it like gozille did)

Its really good game. Images are really good looking. Writing is interesting with nice plot twist here and there. Female characters all look unique and hot. I also like how the game is giving a choice of being a dik or a good guy.
Sure there are things that i hate in it. Im forced to go to gender studies. Its paintful and most of the time a just skip it. Teacher of that class is much less hotter because of it. Expect that i dont really have any big problem with the game.

Came for the "plot", stayed for the actual plot

First of all I have to say this is overall the best game on this site I´ve played so far. It literally has only one/two flaws which I will get to later on.

Pros: - The story is a masterpiece. It is well written, has a decent length ( I don`t know what additions are yet to come) and really catches you. You
don´t have much games on this platform where this is the case, where you actually jump on the feels train

- The characters are awesome. There are a lot of characters you can interact with, but the "main" ones all are objectively and subjectively great

- I know its pretty standard, but I like the college and fraternity setting

- the animations and renders are lets say a A-/B+. There are a few games on here who have better ones like Treasure of Nadia or City of Broken Dreamers but all in all they are great as well. Plus there really are a lot of scenes throughout the episodes

Cons: - there are a few scenes where I would´ve like a little more detail/more angles, but that´s a minority
- the main Con is (which on another point of view can also be considered as a pro compared to a standard visual novel) is the DIK/Chick-system (and money). Throughout the game you repeatedly have to make certain decisions. Depending on what you choose, you either get a "DIK" or a "Chick" score. You then will encounter choices or scenes you only get when you have a certain score of either one. If you don´t have it well then bad luck for you, can´t trigger the scene. And you can´t just replay from a save before, because it takes way to much time and choices to change your score in the other direction. Therefore I do recommend you to play with the cheat/walkthrough mod, this problem is nonexistent for you then.

To conclude this I want to say, I think I am talking for many of us here: give us more with Isabella!

A very very good game. Now I know what was the hype for. Every girl has her own characteristic / depth to it which is very hard to achieve. Love it and definitely would recommend to others.


Cons: Not really any. But if you can freeform to walk around a map and trigger each girl's event (Like Japanese Dating game / Persona5), It will feel less linear and you can replay it for the 2nd/3rd/4th for different girls.....

I'm Loving the story and freedom of choise wether going full dik, full chick or somewhere in between.
I can't wait to find out where this all takes me, and i love that the creator gives out regular updates and keeps us happy with every new update.

One of the absolutely best games in the genre. The story is good, the characters are interesting, the models are beautiful. The dialogue is believable and often funny. And I love that it is original. It's not the same boring tropes like most other games.

Its a good game .
Very rare to see a good story without incest . The fact that such a good game can exist in this genre is just mind-blowing and I hope this keeps up.
The music is fantastic and the humour is also very nice.
The graphics are amazing and never diminish.

This games offers an insane amount of details and animations, interecting story with different characters (who actualy have beliveable and unique personalities), realistic renders and good music. What else do you need?

One of if not the best stories out there for a game of its kind. Has fantastic visuals and great connection with the characters. The animation is on point as well. You will laugh and cry as you go through, and even after all that you will nut into another dimension. The music throughout is also another bonus. It'll get stuck in your head.
