I disagree that he's a follower. He would more be something like a leader from the shadows.

Dawe already took his advice during the meeting with the DIKs and the HOTs about who the HOTs should be with at what moment, and he's also the person who first said MC couldn't have taken the pic, but afterwards Jacob says that both Anthony and Chad DO say MC send the pictures.

I really think he for a large part just acts as someone who is extremely dumb/unintelligent.

I've heard stories that BaDIK won't be as dark, but can't find proof of that. Still though, that might just mean that either we have a chance to save her if we play our cards right, or she always dies without interaction from the player. Both will be less dark than AL, since it's not the player who is forced to let one die through our choice.

DPC never said it won't be as dark the lighter tone leads people to believe it won't be that said the game going into its dark period
