Season 1+2 and Season 3 Interlude + Episode 11 are two separate programs, and you need both in order to play all the existing content.

The first contains the first two seasons, and when you finish the story at the end of S2, you'll be asked to save a special transfer save in a separate interface.

When you launch Season 3, there's no option to start a new game; instead you have an "Import" option that continues the story from the transfer save from the previous game.

You could also get the Steam/GOG releases of the first two seasons (and optionally the official walkthroughs) on those platforms and plan to pick up Season 3 either from here, or from the store once it releases late next year.

May I ask which route is this? I certainly haven't seen this picture before. Is it by any chance after you break-up with them? Because I haven't gone that route.

pretty much every route where you are not on Josys path, but have feelings for her (set in episode 5 when Derek is about to fetch the chicken (and fish) out of the fridge ).

Not knowing how many chapters there will be in the next season, it is truly impossible to make predictions. In theory, we are talking about chapters that are almost like kinetic novels, where there will be very few, if any, important choices to make, so it will be simpler. Of course, this will not reduce the development time.

Yeah i think those chapters will be much shorter... but the development time is determined by one thing, and one thing only... Animations.

And as we see, DPC are creating a lot of them, minutes of cinematics included... and thats why we are not even at 50% right now.

So he very well could need more time for a single episode in season 4 even if its only half the content of maybe episode 11. Some poeple made the "joke" that in the end the game will be more like a movie... well, its not that far off anymore. I just hope not...

I don't think the developer will repeat the same mistake as he did with the crap of an AVN such as "Acting lessons"
Since i first downloaded BaD until now i really didn't get any umm... what's the word... depression, Maybe ? ( But no nothing of that sort happened.. the story is good and the characters but from the moment i played Being a Dik till now i didn't get that Wow feeling (or maybe i was wowed just in the beginning when i played it first time at 2021) but until then the events were just dropping down from EP7 till EP11... But overall i got engaged with the story. Being a Dik is my last AVN i will play i might even quit after it finish because AVNs are dead to me really always the same stuff on repeat. I'm not enjoying them anymore.

So by our choices, no, Riona will be just fine, Maya is at peace with her father, Josy founded her path, Quinn might Drop college and/or be in jail, Sage will find her mother. And the MC will be fucked in some way.
Why ? Because as i said in the beginning i haven't got that wow or depressing feeling from this AVN, Yet. So likely all good for me.

I don't think Arieth is pregnant, I think it's Jade. We never actually saw Arieth take the pregnancy test, so maybe she just found it . . .? Jade took the test in the college bathroom, didn't believe the result and just left it in the stall. Arieth comes in, picks it up, and being bright as a coal mine, thinks its hers.

I had a suspicion (hope) it was Jade at the end of Ep8 when we were teased the image of the test. Always thought Burke was firing blanks but lied to Jade that she was the reason for no kids as she's barren. And now our boy Trem has given her what she's always wanted.


Yes, I want a happy ending with Jade, sue me. Don't get me wrong, I Love Bella, but if I got a chance at Jade, I want her. Especially if Cathy is going to be an optional extra.

And yes, I know, Jade hasn't exactly been behaving like she's pregnant, but then she's never been pregnant before, so how would she know?

Probably just wishful thinking yeah? I don't care!!!

So how does that theory hold up if you've never done anything with Jade? Because as far as everyone knows, she hasn't fucked anyone else other than, Fake professor Burke. And Jade openly admits that she's not fertile. Some presumed it could be Fake Prof Burke who's shooting blanks. And if that's the case, how could your theory hold any water if the MC doesn't choose to have anything to do with her?

Jade openly admits, she's never done anything outside the marital chambers with anyone else other than her hubby, right after she grabs MC's ass when leaving her lecture hall.

No, I didn't feel that way either, not entirely at least. I hope nothing as extreme as what happened in AL happens, but I don't know, something inside me tells me something's going to happen, you know? I don't know how to explain it. We still have a game left, so all we can do is be patient and enjoy what's already finished and wait. And by the way, I know what you're saying about the other AVNs, it's always the same, one way or another, but if not all of them, most follow the same pattern.

No... no playing with fire and killing off a LI.

And there is nothing to "think", its just officially confirmed. DPC makes FAQs here and there... once a year or so. In the very early days of the game this question was asked pretty much each and every day... and DPC said himself that he will not go down that road again. And he repeated himself later on. Though its not completly out of the question that DPC might have lied... but why would he in this case? He made it very clear that being a dik will touch serious topics, and will show some drastic things... but will not get that dark as AL. And i dont see a reason to not believe that... so far being a dik touched many serious topics, but never went as dark as AL did.

Might someone die in this game? *shrug* yeah, of course... Dereks and Mayas mother. People in flashbacks like Lana... but something like AL will not happen.

All the while, i still get "American beauty" vibes... especially when MCs uses pastence to tell the story. I mean... the very first sentences include "but for now, let me tell you what happended".. so everything we play, is in the past.

My gut tells me something happended to the MC and his life is passing by his eyes at this moment... could be he is lying in a hospital right now in a coma? Wouldnt be surprised by that.

But this game will end in happy vibes, very happy vibes.

I don't think he'd deceive us like that, but I don't know, all we can do is wait and hope it ends happily. I hope so, because you end up loving the characters, anyone, is that the right word? For me, yes. Another thing, is the MC in a coma or something? I don't think so. He could simply be telling the story to his children, grandchildren, or just in the final stage of his life, remembering one of the happiest times of his life? I don't know, all of this is just speculation.

Happy December!

I've continued working on the biggest free roam event in episode 12. This week was a bit different than last week. I reached another phase of the free roam event, which meant a different kind of work with art and code.

I started the week by posing a roughly 100 render long scene with many characters and intricate posing. I knew this scene would slow me down a bit because of its complexity, but I wanted to get it done, and so I did.

After that, I posed more scenes for the free roam event, but I also focused on writing code and creating environment renders for navigating the free roam.

When writing code, I went through all the remaining scenes and put calls to them to make sure they trigger when I play. I also made sure they were included in the phone app task list and added at the right time during the free roam. The heavy branching made this a bit tricky at times, but I believe I'm 95% done with the calls to scenes now. I've coded how you end the free roam event and continue with the story.

When creating environment renders, as the free roam event evolves, I had to update existing environments. To help you picture this, think about the Halloween free roam event and how it had different stages and how people moved around.

I've completed all the necessary environment renders for navigating the entire free roam event, and the remaining work is to finish the art and writing for 43 scenes. I'm roughly 50% done with the art for what's written of the free roam event, but I still have some scenes left to write.

Overall, with code and art, I'd estimate I'm 45-50% done with the free roam event.

Another milestone for episode 12 was reached this week - 4000 static renders posed (4090 to be exact)!

Roughly 400 static renders and 27 animations are in the render queue. The 92-second-long cutscene animation is 51% rendered, and it currently has all but two of my systems working on it. I estimate that it will be done within the next two weeks.

Next week, there will be some interesting news that you don't want to miss.
