To be honest, I heard about this game/AVN a long time ago. It never interested me. Based on the title, I assumed it must be a shallow "be a bully/jerk at college and sleep with tons of ditzy, vapid girls" story.

I was SO wrong.

When I finally took the plunge and tried it, I was blown away from the start. I fell in love with every female character. Doing multiple playthroughs to get the different paths was hard because I hated the thought of disappointing any of them. I deliberately avoided romance opportunities with Jill and Bella because I couldn't bear to reject either of them. In fact, when I did my Jill playthrough and made the call to Bella to break things off, the scene where she's sitting alone at her dining room table was so devastating that I went back and restarted to specifically avoid triggering her romance.

The official walkthroughs made the minigames a breeze so I could focus on the story without worrying about running out of money. The music was perfectly chosen. I've never encountered an AVN this diverse and rich.

On the one hand, I'm glad I waited this long, because it meant I got to enjoy even more content before reaching episode 10! On the other hand, I kind of wish I'd discovered this a year or so from now, so I could get the next episode immediately. That cliffhanger for episode 10 was brutal, especially for those of us who fell in love with Rio!

Most likely the best of the "college theme" games ever made. Lots to see and do! I am just starting S3 so hoping the standard is maintained or even improved! Plenty of variety in the models and decisions will reflect what paths and scenes you get so also some replayability if you want to see it all.

So firstly, this is my first time making a review so just read on what you get. So i charged in this game blindly Knowing absolutely nothing and giving me absolutely everything to the characters with good humor and the story so far as to being comedic. I invested hours upon hours to this game just to have my balls hit with a hammer. First off there are minor issues here and i just ignored it cause they were you know "minor" and those were the characters, you know majority of them are either hookers or cheaters. But you can easily ignore them yeah cause i mean they're not important at all. Now moving on to the major issue... The Throuple thing you know with you and maya and josy " a thing " this turns me off so much and it turned me off more when I invested hours upon hours on maya just to see the outcome of her rejecting me . And i mean yeah that sucks but what can i do when the devs are the ones who pull the strings. Eventually started to forget them with all the shit happening on this game. (spoiler alert = I didn't forget them) Why oh nothing the devs just really want the Mc and those two cheaters engaging like some hamster on a wheel running and running just to see no end whatsoever. The story is just ok for me I've seen better just like eternum's story and i kid you not 1st on my personal favorites. Point is this is just too overrated on my taste and i mean overrated as in the story just get overshadowed for all the hype this is getting.

I mean we do have different opinions and shite I can't believe I'm one of those poeple who didn't follow through this game since this has been one of the best AVN out there... i just cant contain my dissapointment when it started off as a rollercoaster going up and up again and again just to see the most dissapointing drop.

The gold standard of AVNs. What could I possibly say about it that hasn't already been said? If you haven't played this yet, you need to try it.
- Choices matter and the story plays out differently depending what you do.
- No harem. Each girl has a path to follow making future playthroughs interesting.
- Each girl is worth playing through again for.
- MC is not a wet paper towel but also not superhuman amazing. He's just a good dude.
- The frat brothers, especially the best friend, are great. One of the few AVNs where I cared about the male friendships.
- Music and overall vibe reminds me of 2000's era college movies which is very much up my alley.

Story - 4/5, well-written story with interesting characters although some characters feel one-dimensional or typical cardboard characters.

Graphics - 4/5, above average render but not the best.

Music - 5/5, there are nice original songs in the game.

Lewd - 3.5/5, this is weakest aspect of the vn in my opinion. I don't find the lewd scenes great but they're pretty decent. Thankfully the game has good story and well-written dialogues compensating for the weak sex scenes.

Overall, BaDiK is worth your time, it's not the best but the dev clearly put his efforts to make this game good.

+ It feels more like an actual GAME than most visual novels
+ Mini-games are actually fun and engaging (can be skipped for those who don't like)
+ The game has a lot of depth in content, gameplay and story as it progresses
+ Huge variety of characters you can get with
+ Multiple paths that offer unique experiences
+ Choices feel like they matter a lot
+ Character models are all gorgeous
+ Animations are pretty great
+ Very high quality and production value
+ Memorable music, sound effects
+ Great user interface and game structure

Cons:
- Restrictive paths may not be for everyone, choices feel final but so are choices in life, I suppose
- Since the game is so long, it's hard to do multiple paths in a timely manner
(Sandbox free exploration parts makes it annoying to redo)



I first played this game years ago, before there was even a season 2. It was my first real experience with a non-Japanese visual novel, and honestly I got through most of it but was turned off by some story elements and ended up quitting. At the time, it had felt kind of generic in story and setting.

Throughout the years, I had felt it was just overrated, as many others often express. However, I decided to give it another chance. More than 4 years later, I've picked up the game again and played through from the start again all the way through the most recent Episode 10.

I was blown away by the depth of how far the story continued on from what I had first perceived to be shallow into something much darker and deeper.

On top of that, the gameplay elements improved and became more engaging as the chapters progressed. The tests, all of the mini-games, the management aspects, puzzles, everything. It may not be for everyone and there is an option to skip through them, but I actually enjoyed all of it throughout the chapters and how they kept adding new modes and new puzzles and management-type mini-games.

These mini-games kept the game very engaging and made it feel more like a GAME than most visual novels out there, which I felt was great and broke up the monotony of just reading for hours on end, especially with how much content the game has right now story-wise.

The game to me is the gold standard for adult visual novels. It might not be at the top of everyone's radar, but I feel it has potentially a little bit of something for everyone. There's so much content and the fact that it feels like more of a game than most others out there is a big turn on for me, with choices mattering quite a lot for the story and relationship progression.

Worth checking out if you're looking for something new, or coming back from long ago like myself.

I fail to see how I could possibly give this more than one star. This has been the most disappointing experience since I started playing AVNs, and it probably has to do with its high reputation

Everything just seems so uninspired. Story, generic college slice of life with no creativity, characters just have their default model appearances, music feels like anything you'll find on Youtube by searching for royalty free music. Might as well put some Kevin MacLeod in there while we're at it

The worst part is that the developer adds drama just to have drama, not as a result of good writing or it needing to be there. It's blatantly obvious and very distracting

Most overrated VN I've ever come across, I don't see how this gets any higher praise than any of the other generic college VNs

- Animations 4/10 (not the worst I've seen, but pretty average in the end)
- Characters 3/10 (most of them I find annoying and inconsistent)

This visual novel is easily top 3 in the AVN world, and it's not #3 or #2. Truly The King of all AVNs. Only a select few can compete near the top spot.

This game gives you everything you could want in an AVN from the drama, to the comedy, to the stunning ladies. Good luck choosing a favorite girl. No doubt this is the best Adult game out there. Compelling storyline, funny as hell, absolutely beautiful renderings, the most gorgeous babes in any game, meaningful dialogue and relationships. Would love some sound effect to go with the sex scenes, but this game is so great otherwise that it definitely deserves top marks! Thank you Dr PC!

This game is just over the top. What starts out as a college comedy quickly turns bitterly serious. Every decision has consequences and even subordinate clauses that are spoken at the beginning are later given tremendous weight. The storytelling is simply brilliant. It makes you laugh and cry. You have to have played this game!

First review I make on this forum. For me, the best AVN I've played, and I've played about 20, including some of the best ones. Are there VNs that come close and depending on the person and their tastes are even better than this one? Surely.

As for the story, it's not something that will blow your mind. It doesn't invent anything new, but it delivers on what it promises. Not all good movies need a plot worthy of Christopher Nolan, nor do all novels need a complex plot to be a good novel. This is the case here. It's still a story about young people in college. However, this doesn't mean that its plot is weak, quite the opposite. Precisely such a simple premise allows the author to delve into each character, give them a unique personality, a background, and motivations for what they do. And the development of the main plot and each subplot that appears serve to keep the player invested in the world created by the author, all, all of this accompanied by great music that fits perfectly in every moment of the plot and makes you enjoy even more what you're seeing and reading .

And that brings us to the next point, the characters and the LIs. Many will say that they are not that good simply because, out of the dozen available LIs, they only like one or two. But precisely that is one of the strong points of this VN if you're tired of the rest of the VNs where all the LIs are perfect, show interest in the MC no matter what happens or what the player does. All the characters are different, not only in their appearance (the renders are great too) and personality but also with a predominant affinity and tendency, with specific kinks or even the lack of them. Each character and scene feels unique. And logically that will most likely mean that some you will like a lot and others not so much or simply be indifferent to. Like life itself.

On the other hand, the minigames. If you're a completionist at heart, you'll have to play them. Personally, I like them, although I understand that others may find them boring. I also have no idea about programming or what can or cannot be done with the engine with which this VN has been developed, but I believe that they have squeezed the most out of what can be offered in a game of this style. Don't like them, get tired of them, or find them boring? The solution: deactivate them at the beginning of the next game you play, as simple as that. And that's something that should be appreciated, the fact that the creator offers the option to possibly deactivate the weakest or at least less enjoyable aspect of their AVN.

Finally, the time between updates. It can be quite long, but I would say that any adult should by now have enough patience and not make a mountain out of a molehill when a game, novel, or movie they're waiting for takes time to come out. The content in each update is large enough to make the wait worthwhile, at least for now, despite other developers taking much less time to release their updates.

To conclude, one of the most important points is that Being a DIK sets a precedent for what can be achieved in the world of AVNs. Perhaps in 5-10-15 years, when Being a DIK has become obsolete, we will be able to appreciate the influence that VNs like this one and a couple more have had on future developers, opening the door to an infinity of possibilities that can be explored in this field.

TL;DR: If you are an AVN fan, give it a try. Worst case scneario, you stop playing it after a couple hours. But I think this is a must try for anyone that enjoys this kind of games, at least to make your own opinion about it.

If I were to rank the top porn games on F95, there is no doubt that I would rate this as No.1, no matter the story, rendering, modeling, animation, it seems like I can't find any flaws, it's an absolute masterpiece!

It's so funny that I had avoided downloading this game for a long time just because of its name. "Being a 'dick'? Seriously dude... Couldn't you come up with a better name?" Also when I first started playing this, it looked like a regular VN with a common story and similar assets. Then the 'free roam' feature confused me. Because I wasn't used to this kind of gameplay. It was neither sandbox nor visual novel. But not long after the game with its art, unique humor, deep characterizations, fine work that done on animations and excellent story just blew my mind.

It's been 3-4 years man. Like it's for me, for the most of the community, this is the best sex game ever done and one of the best games among all.


It took me so long to write down this review. Suddenly it came in my mind that I haven't been writing any reviews for a long time. Then I considered to keep writing reviews and started with my favorite game.



I'm not going to list pros & cons here. Because, to me, this game has no cons. Everything is excellent. God of the sex games, with only a few competitors.

Best of the best, the golden standard of AVNs and a must-play for anyone interested in starting their journey with these types of games.

Highly recommend starting with this game as your first AVN and as a benchmark for the rest of the games you might play, since it is currently the highest standard in nearly every department.

This is The Witcher 3 of AVNs, just play it dude.

Had I written this review after ep07 it would have been a 5 *.
Story not bad but it's getting worse every day year.
First 2 season were really funny and enjoyable, then interlude came well definitely a let down in my book. I played MC for 2 seasons and I have to play the girl who left him and ghosted him for at least 6 months ? WTF !
every update take longer than the last, we are now at more than a year between 2 updates.
Minigames : I was ok with it until end of season 2 even if it became a chore if you wanted to explore every LI's path but since S03 it is really too much I'm sure than half of the time between 2 updates is dedicated to minigames.
In short I loved this game but these last 2 years I lost interest in it and The Thrill is Gone as the song says and it's really sad.

Overrated much? The story's okay, but everything else is meh. Whether it's the sex scenes or the Li's, who seem like a bunch of whores...

The top-notch animations feel wasted here. Too much unnecessary filler content just kills the fun. Not worth investing many hours, especially considering the MC's personality is like a doormat – letting everyone walk over him. I gave it a shot until Episode 8, but that's as far as I could go.

P.S.: Jill is overrated.

I was hesitant at first but it has grown on me to become the best Avn on my eyes , the story just caughts you and keeps you playing , the girls every single one of them has something going on for them and feel very human , the guys too literal bros that earn your trust and are likable as hell making you want to be one of them , the gameplay is very nice switching between Vn and free roam is a great choice ,rooster and the messages is something i always wait for because it gets a chuckle from you many times or sweet moments with certains characters

Amazing game, thanks f95 to introducing me to this game, I quickly bought the steam version. I was that impressed by it.

Some downsides some mini games are obnoxious, gets really tedious on reruns. There is binary selection either do all mini games or do none.

Music is great.
