VN - Ren'Py - Being a Wife [v1.190] [baap]

The storyline is interesting, the graphics are good with a very beautiful female main character. It is very suitable for those of you who like the storyline where the main woman has a relationship with an older man.

Going through a lot of "adult games" I do believe that Being a Wife is one of the best games of the gender ever released. At least for my taste. I basically download hundreds of games a month and check them all and I can ensure that this is one of my top 20 games. I hope that the game developer will continue the story as good games are rare. Overall it is amazing!

I’m not sure why this game is rated so low, I all most bypassed it for that reason.

- I find the Goro path excellent

I really enjoyed ' Being a Wife'. It tells a story we all know and love really well. It's not my usual genre but @baap36885 capured me none the less.

My primary save has only the boy next door and the daughter, not the old coot and the son but I appreciate that the option is there for those who will enjoy that content.
I know I have missed quite a bit of content by cutting them from my playthrough but I'm pleased with my choice and look forward to more play time in the treehouse

I don't get to play a lot but I'm gonna be keeping up with this one.

Solid recommendation

Visually the game is quite good. Nice choice of models (except there seems to be a consistent problem of skin tone matching for the male genitalia). The one major problem I have with this game is the "animations." The scenes are done where the animation is a shift between two frames for a bit, which would be fine, except it's done as part of the dialog progression. It'll auto-advance until the next dialog, but it's VERY easy to try to skip forward and then miss a dialog box or two from button mashing. It'd have been much better to just have it setup so that the animated shift between frames was independent of the dialog.

Like the game so far but need more goro scene. Only bad thing is there's to much character now so it'll have alot of branches which will take alot more time to update. Best ugly old bastard hot wife vn imo. Hopefully the game actually finish with christine marrying goro with his kids.

Good 5 star game, pretty good story and sexy looking Characters. The current plot is more about old man but I am more excited to see other character's plot progression. I don't like the old guy plot very much.

I played this game once so not sure if there are multiple routes, but even without multiple routes this game is perfect because the wife model is super hot.

Ugh
This game combines everything bad from "wife games" and "corruption" games.
The story doesn't make any fucking sense and is cringy, just like the dialogues that are comedically bad.
You'll see some of the worst cheating/corruption game tropes of having ugly old guys, young dumb boys in the game.
I swear, there are not more than maybe three people in this game who are below the age of 80 and above 15. It's such a turn-off.
The renders are the only things that I like in this game.

Its seems to be promising and yet the same time some how ends up disappointing.
Visuals are good, characters also good to okay.
For the developer, I would like to request give a chance for end user to rename characters and relationships.

Being a Wife is a game about a mother who builds relationships. It explores her connection with Goro, and also her relationship with Tobey, a student in her class and the best friend of her son, Adi. The game starts with a good story build-up with Goro, and then with Tobey. However, I feel more interaction with Adi's bullies is missing. Most importantly, Amy and Otto, who are introduced at the beginning, have no story at all. Giving them dialogue and storylines could bring the game to a whole different level.

Being a wife has great visuals and is stunning artistically. The female lead is fantastic; a great MILF perfect for this type of story and setting.

Unfortunately this is where the positive ends. The game is an empty shell; deprived from eroticism, sexual tension and plot. The story is presented through the thoughts and "inner - conflict" of the protagonist; which is more conflicting to understand than anything else. The main suitor for the incredibly hot female protagonist is none other than an unattractive , poor shaped grandpa. The grandpa in question is our regular everyday loser but with the confidence of a successful millionaire pornstar. Alas, here's the game !!

I am rating three star because the game sticks to this formula and caters to its fans.

This is a big waste of good renders and a beautiful female protagonist. The FMC's LI options are an 80-year-old and a dumb boy. So much potential wasted in low-key fetishes. 95% of the written is about the FMC thinking about nothing relevant to the plot.

So far it's quite good and I enjoy the game, you managed to develop this game in terms of stories, characters, and plots.

Now the problem is with quite a lot of characters, what kind of story you want to develop, Its fair if people want Christine to have a relationship in every character you made, because it's the tastes of each person. But for me, the main reason I play this game is Christine and Goro, I love the unusual adult stories, and i appeciate you brave to do that.

So, I can't wait to see the continuation of the main dishes in this game between Christine and Goro.

I'm sorry but as of right now, both the grammar and general word usage is terrible. I honestly couldn't understand 90% of what they are trying to say and it was giving me a headache. Overall the images were nice and the character models were pretty good, however someone needs to come in and proofread everything and I'm not sure if the developer just doesn't speak english very well, but maybe get a translator as well.

A really good game, The quality of the media is really nice, writing is pretty decent and the scenes are fine too. Overall a very decent plot and starts off really well. Reason for 5 star is the Dev deserves a good support because there are several worse games out there with not even 5% of what this game is.
Things I didn't like about this game are some of routes which was exactly the same as AWAM.

a linear, simple and childish story, no real sense, a girl who gets bored too soon, too lustful and slutty, maybe she has father syndrome, and she fucks a mature man, but I don't find anything exciting.

The writing is poor in general, the dialogue during the sex scenes are especially corny and repetitive and rapey , and the setting stretches believability so far I'm left completely uninvested. In addition, seemingly every sex scene that does include the MC, is with an old man. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't. and some choices you don't get to pick after you agree to be with grandpa or others like to back out later on or what not . renders are good but the story needs improving the older verison which was Christine Watson was better was no need to remake/rewrite it into this though .

i don't understand why it has a high rating as the story does not live upto itself of what it use to be it just mostly revolves around a ulgy old man that borders on rape and domination while the rest of the story takes a backseat . renders are good , story is okay if it would ever move past the old man "goro" and his friend "otto" it would be much better . but the story seems to be heading towards a rehash of what so many other VN have as far as story and tags goes for this particular VN time will tell if it improve or not . if it does i will change my rating .

This game is good. The character Christine is so hot.. Though it's a remake, this version is more interesting.. The old man character looks ugly, but still he plays the important role in this game.. Don't miss this game..
