It doesn't explain the pain and that detracted from the scene. It does cause a plot problem later on. If it wasn't at all good, why would she do it again? But Goro did give her good foreplay and she should have been mostly ready for it.

As to the scene itself (less the painful romp) easily a 9/10 or 10/10 compared to other games. Could the whole scene been better...? Oh yes, but being excellent scene itself the only way to have improved it is:

Just before Goro gets into mounting position, Christine is more reluctant and pleads to not enter her while she thinks she really wants it and Goro plays a little rubbing his tool against her till she wraps her legs around his thighs to better align for entry

Second prior to going to his house Christine needed before making her decision to follow him, admit likely he was going to fuck her and admit to herself that she is aware of it and admits to herself she wants it.
