Played the full version and thoroughly enjoyed this one. Its a narrative driven, mostly kinetic VN. So mind your expectations.
Groundhog day theme in modern times setting but with a twist. In my opinion it is one of the well written VNs in the genre. Most VNs do a bad job at the whole repeating days story. This VN had good pacing, excellent writing, engaging narrative and a few plot twists to spice up the story. I would love to spoil it but better not to, i'll say it borders sci-fi and supernatural and it does get crazy with the revelations later on. It was superb. Story does get convoluted later on, a few subtle plot holes but for the most part, it's an enjoyable read. The endings feels a little inconclusive but leaves potential for a massive expanded sequel which i hope dev will consider.
Characters aren’t the VN's strong suit. Except the MC. The MC gets plenty of character development & compelling narrative journey but the love interests and supporting casts lack the same care and attention. I love their backstories and personalities but it's a shame they did not get the story arcs they deserve and ended up with stunted character growth. They feel supplementary because most of the focus is on the main story and the MC.
Models and renders are great. The background assets used in the scenes make the world feel alive and livable. Models are all about taste. I wasn't sold on it at first but it started to grow onto me.
Lewd scenes are fine. Nothing kinky and hot. Mostly vanilla. And it's not a lot, it's a story driven VN afterall. Could have benefitted from longer scenes and more expressive choreograph, some of the scenes and relationship situations had potential that was never realized.
