Hoping to hear some recommendations on the best VR experiences that utilize Passthrough/ AR/ Mixed Reality.
With a Quest 3 and a PC connected via Virtual Desktop I'm aware that you can have Passthrough working on any scenes that are a solid color. Through this method I've heard Koikatsu and Virt A Mate can be configured to work with Passthrough, but I have yet to try these out and would love to hear about others' experiences with both of these! Especially Koikatsu in Passthrough, there's not a lot of info on that from what I've searched. Would also love to hear about VaM scenes that are free or can be downloaded here that feature a solo girl or multiple girls with some light interaction like her reacting to me touching her or her playing with herself and not just being a liveless doll.
I've also heard that Captain Hardcore and VR Hot have Passthrough capabilities, but I've yet to discover if those only work through the Quest Standalone versions or not and would like to hear more about this if anyone has tried it.
So far from my favorite to least favorite experiences have been the "Demo Cards" through
BrainDanceVR is actually quite awesome. I tried the "Demo Cards" which features real life girls playing with themselves and when you enable the Passthrough and Environmental Blending options you have her masturbating in your room and your hands or environment don't even disappear in front of her so you can position her quite realistically in your room. Way better than Sex Like Real in my opinion cause you have accurate 6 DoF where you can go all around her, though it has its limits as the model starts decaying if you explore around too far away from the initial perspective which is kinda horrifying lol.
I also tried BrainDanceVR while connected to Virtual Desktop to use my PC's hardware for higher resolution and higher framerate models, but the passthrough was not as flawless as on the standalone Quest 3 app, though it was still quite good with the higher resolution certainly being nice, but imo the Standalone version wins out here for ease of use and no passthrough bleeding on the models.
VR Hot is really fun because it features Room Scanning on the Quest 3 Standalone version where she will actually lay on your bed or sit on your desk which is very cool, even if it's fairly janky. I was using the 0.8.6 version found on this site. What makes this my 2nd favorite is the fact that it has room interactivity coupled with animations baked into the game where you can tell her to do certain things and isn't just a pose simulator. Fairly good looking base model with some fun customization of clothes, hair, face, and body. Touching her with your hands via hand tracking is definitely enjoyable.
Captain Hardcore would be great if there was an easy way to find scenes for certain releases as this game focuses on posing the model in whichever way you want her with animations you can attach, but it comes off very robotic and very time consuming if you want something passable. Models are good and customization is there as well, but VR Hot is more user friendly since the model there actually walks around and will play with herself or position herself to be fucked by you.
Then SexLikeReal is certainly awesome if you want to just sit there and masturbate while models ride you and play with each other. You see a cock from your PoV and they are in your room with you, but if you move your head then so does the whole scene.
