Hello all!
I'm developing an erotic Monster Girl RPG modeled after games such as Pokemon. This is a passion project I've been working on since around Dec 2023. While the project is still has a way to go, I feel prepared enough to begin sharing some glimpses into its development.

You've just come of age to take the Tamer Exams. You've wanted nothing more than to travel to world, protect people from the dangers out there, and grow your bond with your Bidomon. Along the way, you'll uncover a dark and mysterious organization with un. Will you be able to foil their plots of world domination?

EROTIC CONTENT

A large goal of creating the game is to include a wide array of titillating monster girls to satisfy. Taking inspiration from the MGQ series, these monstrous ladies come equipped with skills, body parts, and desires that will leave you drained and in a pool of ecstasy. HOWEVER, unlike the MGQ series you do not have to lose combat to experience these scenes. In fact, it is your job as a tamer to fulfill their desires and bring them to climax.

The erotic content is integrated meaningfully into the gameplay loop. The way your Bidomon grow stronger is to both gain experience from battles AND fill them with lustful energies. But that second part is not as easy as it seems. While both you and they are eager to get down and dirty, Bidomon give off an intensely oppressive aura when they get aroused. So intense in fact, that if you are not experience enough, you'll pass out. This is just one reason why encountering a wild Bidomon can be dangerous.

So far these are the only 2 lines that I have completed art for. I'm commissioning the art (as I am not a skilled artist myself), and it cost quite a pretty penny. If you like what you see, please consider backing the Kickstarter to bring this project to life with more fantastic art.

Of course, your Bidomon will evolve into more dangerous (and sexy) forms. This can be achieved by growing to a certain level, holding a specific item, developing a deep bond, or other potential additions.


COMBAT ENCOUNTERS

A good Bidomon Tamer knows all of the Bidomon types, both Violent & Sexual, and utilize type advantages to get the edge on their opponent. That's right. There are two ways to win combat encounters. You can either pummel your foe and reduce their HP to zero OR you can seduce them into a point of arousal where they no longer capable of fighting.

The trick though, is if you wish to tame a wild Mon, you'll have to display both enough force and seduction to win them over. Each Mon is unique. Some require a large show of force but little seduction, while other's will fold immediately but highly resist any advances you make on them.

Great news!

As of writing this we are OVER 25% FUNDED!!!! And just after about 5 days and still 26 more to go!!!

In the meantime, I've spent some time learning the basics of VFX Graph. I created a handful of early VFX to use for some moves in battle. I also had to update the project's render pipeline during this process, which was a bit scary has it broke some things for a hot second.

I'll share some of the VFX I made below.

Monthly Update: September

The Kickstarter is over and we did not meet our funding goal. Do not worry, the project is not being abandoned. I'm still working on what I can and will find ways to keep it moving forward. My primary goal currently is to pick up a part time job to fund the art for the game. Hopefully I can find something soon.

Since the last update, I've spent time writing out first drafts for the erotic scenes in the game. I now have all 9 of the Chapter 1 first evolution scenes written out.

Monthly Update: October

I've made some progress which came with a small unexpected set back.
The battle system now allows for double battles! I've also added weather effects and moves. This however, reset all existing 'Battle Move' scriptable objects I had made, nuking a bunch of progress :(

I also started cracking into Chapter 2, blocking out the level areas and specific story beats.
This came with a huge overall to my master Bidomon list as well. I've now organized all Bidomon (roughly) in order of their first appearances. This cleans up the Pedia to allow the player to key into Mons or potential evolution they might have missed.

There's also some progress on the art side of things. I don't consider myself a traditional artist, but I do feel like my pixel art skills are growing (though still very much in their early days). I'm just starting with modifications to the existing pack I grabbed for now, primarily palette swapping for more NPC variety.
