I'm not getting any crash or error message, even when the Double your income (Laptop > Cheat Menu) is checked ON.
Can you tell me, what other actions you're doing other than "Double income" tick, during the first day of a New Game.

I was not doing anything extra, just used the mod for extra money and to read the manual about the connecting program for his laptop. Like I said, this was the first night and was trying to go to sleep.
On another note, I went pretty much through the game without being able to buy the ladder or the second camera, I finally found the ladder at Mias' house, never did get the camera though. I don't know if I missed a trip for them to pop up or not.
While playing the game before the mod came out, I had both the ladder and the camera within three weeks of play time.

Laptop In-built Game Cheat Menu will be activated from Day 2.

Only on Day 1 you find out about the Cam, so there won't be any income on Day 1.
