Ren'Py - Abandoned - Big Brother: Fan Game [v0.13 - Fix 8] [PornGodNoob]

i think that was a good sandbox (def above average)
will not comment on story/dialogues caz i never cared (so excluded from consideration)
events seemed to be coherent enough and with new locations being added.

[+] bb renders and new lewd scenes (if you havenot seen mods content ofc.)
[+] no bugs [nothing crucial]
[+] solid qol

[hm] after completing 40-50% of quests my progression became uneven ... at some point many npcs were locked behind lisa progress, sometimes some uncomfy overlaps with ann.

the majority of the renders may belong to others, but to gather them together, add yours along with new stories, locations and elements of game play and make it all work flawlessly in ren'py still must require a lot of dedication and hard work. being a huge big brother fan, i'm very much enjoying this unofficial continuation of the legendary game. thank you porngodnoob, please keep up the good work.

Unfortunately it is a generic BB with no history. Maybe it's a continuation of the original game with no story? I got confused. Maybe the author is Russian and doesn't understand English even using a translation tool? I don't blame you, different languages with different alphabets are quite complicated. About the game, not bad but not good either. Just like one person mentioned below, it's just a game where you search for images and slide them in, but with images that did not have the original game (the author created his). The idea is good, even the author taking a little of the original content, but lacked caprice. I think a title other than BB or "BB-After ...." would go well, that's an example.

PROS:
Added a variety of locale, more scenes and own content and good renderings.

CONS:
Could have followed something different, maybe a subtitle?
Doesn't have a scripted story. The soul of the original game is because of the story that is told, how things happen.
Bad interface. Achievements, statistics, for what? I saw no difference in that. Contains a few bugs, nothing to worry about or not fix.

So, why did I give 2 stars?
Translation errors are normal when the foreign language alphabet is not known, therefore, I rule it out. The 2-stars reason is that the game is just a slideshow of images with an adventure we already know what will happen.
At no point did I say this is bad, but it is not that game that will replace.
I thought the idea was cool, the original game always lacked a variety of localization, but the original game developer eventually abandoned his project and it looks like it left a strong legacy. But this game needs to evolve, a story perhaps? an RNG equal to the original? A little more challenging, an Eric and other guys? I dont know, but the game has requirements for it, only the work will be quite hard.

This game is better than the original BB mods, so if you want something fast, this one is better.

I think that the Dev has done a great job with this game so far. Yes the sex comes easy, because the Dev has chosen to implement the mods in the game, but at the end of the day it is a porn game.

The English is not perfect, but for me it does not matter that much. There is so much content that it is great that the Dev has the walk-through built in.

I would recommend anyone who played the original to give this a try, yes there is grind, but I have found it less of a chore.

So overall I think it is a from me.

Very Good Effort! Amazing in the fact that you are taking so many works from others and creating something playable, yet cohesive. Keep up the good work and I look forward to work on other games and updates to this mod. Especially for updates on this mod. Still one of my favorites.

- This is a visual novel instead of a game. Choices are minimal and don't really have any affect.
- English is just too bad to ruin the story. Usually I can over look it but man this one is rough

This game is to easy . You can directly from the start have sex with sisters and your mom . I enjoy finding myself out what dialogue to pick to trying to seduce the person you want to have sex with and rolling back when making the wrong choice. The moment where you need to save to make sure you did not choose the wrong dialogue and have to start all over again.

All things considered, this is really a nice game.
I can recommend it for anybody who likes BB. New events, new sex scenes and locations.

The only downturn (but a really big one, imho) is the translation.
Man, this engrish kills the mood totally.
Maybe somebody with experience can take over and does a proper translation.

I would say for a fan made game this has broken the record . It has much better pictures from the previous version and with the skill set of the developer he has done a great job. Good work keep it up! Update Soon!

I would recommend to add more ways to download and better screenshots.

You get to screw everything on two legs,Like it,But like the Dev said,his maiden Language is not English and he is using a Translator, so I give him great credit on that,if he finds a Good translator,or somebody to check the Game before being released,then he should have something great going here.

At first I expected.
But the more you do, the more disappointment you get.
A game that undermines the reputation of the original.
Even the game progress is not smooth.
Big Brother was a good game.
This game anymore. Don't to insult Big Brother.

Well this is quite an interesting little title and I'm not really sure how I feel about it.

Lets address the elephant in the room right away. PornGodNoob clearly states that English isn't his primary language and that he's using translation tools for the game. WHOOOO BOY does it show. The text is quite often completely impossible to understand. So know that going into it if you're an english speaker. However the good side also ties into one of the other cons, which follows.

This isn't a 'visual novel' because as mentioned there's almost no following the text if you're reading in english (which I am). BUT that's almost ok, because guess what... there's really no story here. The story as a whole basically breaks down to this: "Did you play Big Brother? Ever wonder what happened when the game got left off by the dev? Follow the exploits of this fucked up and incestuous family as Max fucks everyone almost every hour of the day."

The end. That's it. This game is a faptastic romp through the graphics of the game Big Brother, and the various fan art and mods that were created for it.

THIS ISNT A REMAKE. This is more of a ren'py continuation of the game, with no plot. None.

Ultimately this leaves you to wonder one thing. If you're not actually looking at the text, and the scenes are just essentially just randomized porn for you to fap to, why are you playing this game? Why not just download the art assets and throw them up in a slideshow?

That's the essential reason this game only gets 2 stars right now. I think that PGN could do a LOT to help make this game more tolerable with two fixes.
1. hire or work with a native english speaker to work on the text.
2. include an option to set RU or ENG in the opening screen, BEFORE the main menu.

Because having to guess where the option screen is to switch to english, and then ALSO switching to english inside the game on your cell phone, and even then only getting about 80-90 % translation is just going to lead to ignoring all the text.

All of that being said, it's very hard to judge a game based on any potential game play mechanics. There seem to be multiple locations, but I wasn't able to figure out what to do there, and also I was able to travel there even with $0, giving me -5 $ every trip... making me wonder again what the point was.

I don't know. I applaud PornGodNoob for trying this. But there's a long long long way to go, and trying to take on one of the most infamous porn games out there means you have huge shoes to fill.... sadly, the v0.07 version just doesn't.... not even close.
