Mod - Unity - Completed - Big Brother - MOD from the Smirniy v2

I’ve loved the original game for years and have completed it multiple times. I discovered this mod years later and spent all my free time over a week playing it. I had heard that, even though it’s fan-made, the mod gives the game a proper ending—offering a chance to say goodbye to BB—and at first, things didn’t seem bad.


That is, until the scene where Ann is raped… I was completely shocked. I played the game expecting a story that respected my choices and progressed logically, but everything fell apart here. I was controlling a character who kicks Eric out, wants the girls at home for himself, gets upset when other men are mentioned in porn scenes, and is clearly possessive—but suddenly, this character becomes indifferent to such events, and the story goes completely off track.


I continued, only to face a second blow: Max allowing Alice to participate in porn willingly and have relations with others… At that point, the game was over for me. I closed it and deleted it. The story is inconsistent, illogical, and the ending does not stay true to the original content.


In short, while the mod may have aimed to provide an ending, it definitely fails to do so in a way that respects the original story and maintains logical consistency.

Big Brother, just as grindy and tedious, but with added cringe-inducing dialogue.

I love the original game, despite its unfinished state. This mod intends to extend the story, but it does so with arguably terrible execution.

You’d expect two key features from a mod like this:

• Quality of Life: Prompts that don’t disappear when you move away, rollback options, a permanent mood-boost cheat, and clearer hints about what to do next.
• A faithful follow-up story: Arousing new scenes and plot developments that align with the established personalities of the characters.

It unfortunately falls short with both. Little to nothing was done to reduce the most tedious aspects of the grind, while the new scenes blatantly ignore the rules and tone of the original game.

Early on, the added scenes look visually terrible—worse models, bad lighting, and noticeable compression artifacts. Players immediately notice when a scene recycles assets from the original versus when it shifts to modded ones. Fortunately, the renders do improve radically by the late end-game.

Visual hiccups are something I could forgive if the new scenes had at least passable writing; it’s disastrous. The original thrived on breaking realistic psychological barriers and manipulating human-like characters to lose their inhibitions to incest. Here, those characters are reduced to shallow, cartoonish, lustful beings. Worse, midway through the story, the mod displays the inner monologues of NPCs, making the narrator suddenly omniscient and shattering the established rules of narration. This is the worst part of the mod: it shows a misunderstanding of the original material and highlights how everyone’s been turned into absurdly out-of-character, sex-obsessed caricatures.

There is potential, though, and with some fixes, this could genuinely enhance the original. As it stands, it makes Big Brother worse.

If they get back to work with these criticisms in mind, I’ll re-evaluate my rating. I’d even be willing to help rewrite at least the worst scenes.

Sadly, after discussing with two of the devs, there seems to be no will for course correction: they said they’re burnt out and, above all, refused to acknowledge the very obvious problems I mentioned. Too bad.
