Mod - Completed - Big Brother - Mod [v0.22.0.022] [the Smirniy]

I am just gonna list the main cons right out because there is so many of them: - assuming you plan to play this 1st time without cheats
1) Money & costs of making money , terrible slow growth of money
2) House activities - terrible slow growth of points gain for MC. It does give points but its god damn mediocre.
3) Story quests can unintentionally cause you (MC) to 'give up' a character to the male antagonist (example you like the sister but u had segs with the aunt, the antagonist finds out. You have to make a choice between your sis or your aunt because you (like me playing this now and having to restart everything again) did not read the 'walkthrough' which is not posted on this thread but the original abandoned game thread.
4) Sex scenes are just PowerPoint presentation, no animation & no sounds. I applaud you if you grind normally just to see the stagnant content.
5) The process to get the sex scenes themselves, I have put in 2 days of effort (had to cheat the money , its atrocious honestly) by now and I only managed to see about 4 sexy scenes. I just want to say its filled with countless pressing and in-game activities that makes me feel like the sex scenes is only attainable by cheating. If you want to do it legitimately, it takes nearly forever.
6) Choices auto disappear, In this game there is a option to peep on the characters. If you click the bubble for it but then back out by pressing 'leave' you cannot do it again even though the characters has not move from the location. I cannot fathom why is it coded this way. You may think 'hey why dun just reload a save?'. True except that will occur on all the female characters. This game is a chore enough as it is and this adds a point of frustration to the mountain of it.
7) if you search this mod thread, you will see many recommendation of link walkthrough and guides. The problem is it is hard to tell which is the latest or reliable at all. As of now, i have 3 guides i am looking at and even I am not sure which is accurate.
8) %% chance for skill to work (or action to take) is partially unreliable. For example, you can put a spider to scare your sister (70 or 80%) to succeed, you take the 70 and wait until the next day and it did not scared her. Even if you reload your save to after you planted the spider, it will still not work. You have to try for 80 instead. Basically what i am trying to say is the percentage seems to be fixed (rigged) for the entirety of a day and some of the day's important moments.

All that said if there is 1 good thing is that this game was actually finished, props to the dev who picked it up from abandonment. Also there is currently a remake of sort of this game and it is also called big brother but its named -another story. Same premise, same cast and same story with some improvements to UI, saves and in game systems.

Now if you excuse me I need restart my game again because i am stubborn and i really want to kick the antagonist out of the MC household.

I always heard people talk about the legendary big brother and i wanted to try a modded version to avoid the unfinished original, i regret doing that. This game is such a huge chore, is not even the insane grind combined with unity and an rng system to be that bad, it's the amount of time you need to wait for something to happen, i played 4 hours and got 0 sexual content, the closest thing to a sex scene was the aunt watching you fap, the game has no natural progression, despite increasing your relationship with the girls the scenes and dialogue remains the same, you can't talk with your mom at all, the older sister treats you like shit no matter what and you need to wait for eons just to kiss with the younger one, while the "amazing" eric will charm your family in seconds your mc is still treated like a little shit no matter the relationship level, i've never been this bored from playing a porn game, if this is an improved version i can't even imagine how bad the original actually is.

Really nice pictures. Especially Lisa is beautiful.
Story line sometimes hot..sometimes stupid, but it is porn game, so no problem.
It is difficult to play and it take long time, but it is ok.
When you miss some triggers it is problem to solve it and you need to go back and try it in different way.

I am reviewing v20

First of all, this is a very good mod for BB if you are looking for a proper continuation of the game. It has good story with some light NTR content. The renders are good, similar to the original one. However this game lacks branches.
I'd like to see some new characters and stuff to improve the experience.
Overall, its great.

I've played the original game by DarkSilver and must say this modded version is a lot better. The events that have been added are great, but on the other hand there is a bit of a grind. That's ok because I've played games where the MC starts having sex with other characters within 10 minutes of starting. If I was looking for that I would just watch regular adult material online. I like the build up of the game slowly corrupting the family members to eventually have a lot of "fun" with them.

EDIT: The reason I lowered it to two stars is because I found out what the next update may include. Because of that decision I will no longer be playing the game. Plus there are a lot of grammatical and spelling errors. Some dialogue also has the Russian names of the characters even with the English mod.

Best mod ever. Why? Because you can deflorate and fuck Liza over the whole damn house.

One less star for not having more Eric content. Hoped for more NTR content, like Eric lessons Liza / Alice / Olivia and so on.

I do agree with the current review. Content wise there has been added some, but not many new things.
Regarding the EN translation there has been made good progress and it's playable now without knowing russian. Therefore I would an additional star to the current rating points here.

For this review, I will review the mod content(that I know is specifically there) and not the base game of Big Brother. If you want reviews of Big Brother, go see the reviews over there.

There are pros and cons to this mod and I'll list what I can recall.

Pros: Built in cheats that allow you to not deal with money. This is especially helpful early on and good for skirting around the grind.
The new pictures are pretty, though obviously different in style from the base game.

Cons: Do you speak Russian? You better, because otherwise you wont know what you're doing. You're running blind here hoping that the pictures will be enough to keep your attention when you're lost and not at all certain of what's going on. Why is there a blank option available when I speak to Mom? Who knows? (probably people who speak Russian)

Overall, the cheat options are worth a solid star on it's own and the pictures are fine. I'd give it a realistic 2.5/5, but I would absolutely not suggest playing it unless you've never played BB before or if you speak whatever arcane language the game randomly starts presenting itself in. If you haven't played BB, go download the game with cheats and play it that way. This only adds some pictures that are fine to look at, but not worth the price of admission.
